Sunny was amazing and checked in with me often to give me just the right amount of pressure to get my knots out. Massage: I walked into the suite greeted by the receptionist, then was quickly given the intake form to fill out. They brought out a wooden basin to soak my feet in hot water while I was filling it out. My feet were dried off, I was given slippers, and was shown to the massage room. I chose the Signature Thai Massage which I really needed. The back walking was intense (again, it was my first time but I really enjoyed it!), and the accupressure massages + balm and stretches were my absolute favorite. My masseuse was Anna and she was so lovely. She managed to crack my back during some leg stretches which was SO NICE because I'm never able to crack my own back. I added on an indian head massage (because of my migraine and nerve inflammation in my neck). Cost: Very affordable and worth the price. I also liked how I could book the same day and be accomodated so quickly. Hygiene/Facility: The spa is a suite, located in the 2nd floor of a shopping plaza. It's quiet when you walk inside the hallway which makes it a peaceful transition when walking outside back into the noisy world. The spa itself is small, quaint, clean, and has a refreshments table with tea, coffee, and snacks. They have 3 massage rooms (I believe, or more?) which have double beds, but they're very spacious inside and have ample room to place your belongings + move around if you're doing a couples massage. Booking the appointment was really seamless. The front desk was friendly and helpful in providing information as well as suggesting some massage therapists who could be a good fit. I made a point to fill all my necessary forms ahead of time then ensured I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment (as they instruct) to get situated before my massage. The facilities at Spavia were nice, relaxing, and clean. They even provide neck warmers for you to put on in the waiting room before your treatment which was such a nice touch. The massage itself was amazing. Before my treatment started Muammer went through all of the requests from the intake form to ensure he understood my preferences. Throughout my massage he did check-ins for pressure and gave me a heads of on what he would work on next which made me feel super comfortable. I do a lot of traditional weight training and my muscle really need to be worked on. To say that Muammer kicked my behind in the best possible way is an understatement. This location is the only place I know of that has it in or near Concord. The price is very affordable and you can add on a foot massage.
