We used Lucky Glass in 2018 to install some large picture windows. Unless you want your windows to eventually end up like ours , I wouldn't recommend them. They do not back their products or glass and we found that they get their glass from another source and they do not back their product either. These windows cost $5000 and now we have one with a faulty seal and a film dripping inside of the 2 glass pieces! read more

Lucky's Glass was great to work with. I met with and spoke with Richard to get the shower measured. He walked me through the options I had for hardware and gave me an estimate. Richard was very easy to work with and did not beat around the bush like other sales people I've had to interact with as I'm moving into my new home. Richard was very responsive via phone and email. On the day of the installation, Mario and Vinny arrived promptly and installed the frameless sliding shower door with matte black hardware and it looks amazing. Can I give 0 stars? Follow through sucks. Returning calls never happens. They never show up at agreed up upon times. AVOID! We used them for the glass and windows throughout our house that we built and it was a hot mess from start through way past finish. It's been more than 2 years of trying to deal with them and here are some of the lowlights: 1) They installed a shower door incorrectly that never got properly done. 2) They forgot to build the screens with the windows and had to scramble do an aftermarket fix for the problem they created. The fix looks wretched and we have opted to remove most of the screens as a result. 3) The never installed the screen doors where needed. After nearly 2 years I am still chasing them for these. 4) And storefront windows that they installed started separating after 18 months and they took MONTHS to respond to my emails and calls to them. Even once they started taking my calls, they no showed on appointment times multiple times. The window is still not fixed. Need I say more? read more

I've used Lucky Glass sparingly on-and-off for the last couple of years for relatively minor jobs so I can't comment on the negative reviews listed here for more substantial jobs, but from limited interaction with them on my simple invoices (a broken window, some window screens), they've been absolutely amazing. Especially Richard. I swear, that guy was so friendly and helpful I asked the receptionist if he was the owner or related to the owner. She said he wasn't which speaks even more to his professionalism. I will continue using them until such time they let me down. But for now, I'm satisfied. So if you have a small job, I think you're relatively safe. read more

i agree with most of the poor reviews. Had our shower glass installed by Luckys glass and needed them to come back out to complete the job with the shower seals and replace others. Called numerous times with zero response. clearly they don't want the work. read more

Made appointment to have a small window panel replaced, took days for the person Richard to come out and measure the window. He said he would be back to install the replacement glass in a day or two. Never called to setup time to complete the install. Total flakes. Don't use this company. read more

Had to call three times to get a call back for a visit to measure for a new shower door. Finally set up appointment. No one showed up after I waited for three hours. I called, they finally got back and said too busy to show up and would call back to reschedule. Never called back. Richard was totally non responsive. read more

Walked in and stood there for about 2 minutes until the older lady sitting at her desk decided to stop staring and finally said "Can I help you?" She didn't even bother standing up. I had to walk up to her desk. I asked for a business card and she finally decided to get up. I was there an entire 3 minutes. I decided to leave. Very curt lady. Definitely not doing business here. This review covers a several year experience. How often do you see that? Typical reviews are "spot-checks" at best. Anyway, purchased a whole-house worth of windows. They were late getting in and the house got rained on 7 times. Not a good situation. Next, installation involved one cracked window due to insufficient clearance around the frame. Pretty basic problem to avoid given a skilled installer. Fast-forward to today. All bulb seals facing South and West are shot which is typical of CA. Call Milgard and told I need to order through Lucky. No problem, right? Wrong. They don't care to make a $50 sale or even call Milgard for that matter. Needless to say, I went on the internet to get the seal and nothing could have been easier. Anyone can write a review here and anyone has just as much luck to get good service from a vendor. That's not the point though. It shouldn't take "luck" or should a have said "Lucky"? read more

Worst communication especially from Santiago. I have been waiting months for them to finish a commercial job for me. Absolutely impossible to get a hold of someone who can help you out. I will never use them again. I am a general contractor and I deal with sub contractor's all the time. This is hands down one of the worst sub's I have ever used. read more

Great job on our shower doors but a little careless. They left glue/ silicon smudged on the glass... What a pain to have to take off.

Similar to other low scoring reviews, I experienced terrible follow through and no returned phone calls after calling Richard several times. They installed the glass for a new shower, but a few years later when we experienced leaks between the glass and the tile, they showed no interest in standing behind their work or having the courtesy to return phone calls. This guy installed our glass sliding doors at the house - the door broke a month after and it hasn't been fixed in six months - they never return calls, and have missed countless appointments over and over, without any notice. This company sucks!!! Take your business elsewhere please!!!!! once we got the estimate and placed the order they asked for half of the estimate as a deposit to order the glass/supplies and said they would install the following week. We gave them a deposit of $1,000.Week past and no show and no courtesy call letting us know anything in regards to why they didn't show up or a re-schedule. When we called they stated they would install the following week, AGAIN!!!!! no call and no show. My husband had to go to their location due to no returned calls after leaving messages. They told him on Thursday that they had an available appt today Friday (what a coincidence). Now my husband calls me and says they showed up with the wrong supplies!!! OMG another delay!!!!! and no call from a manager to apologize or anything!!!! we provided them with the money on Dec 13th and still no shower doors are installed in our home. I really like these guys. Great customer service. Ask for Richard ..... very nice guy...knows his business. They don't over charge here just fair price. Can do window mechanism repairs as well as glass. They can do shower door mechanism repairs also. Nice selection of replacement glass to change something to a more decor look. Great that they are a family business (2 brothers own it I think), but they sure don't seem to care too much for their residential customers, probably due to the fact that they likely have a ton of business (commercial?). I have been to Lucky Glass several times for small jobs and found everyone there to be incredibly generous and helpful. Recently they went above and beyond to help me finish a project that I started with someone else. After a problem with my order, they fixed it quickly and took responsibility, no hesitation.
