The biggest issue was that our server never came back to check on us after our food was served. Because of that, I didn't have the opportunity to let her know about my salad or ask for a replacement while we were eating. When I asked about a refund for the salad, I was told they couldn't refund it simply because I didn't like it. That was frustrating, especially since I had barely eaten it because it tasted spoiled. Having worked in several restaurants myself, I've always been taught that if a customer is unhappy with a meal and hasn't eaten it, the restaurant should either replace the dish or remove it from the bill.
