My friends and I decided to hit this place up for dinner on our annual vacation weekend together. We weren't disappointed! We ordered the Small feast platter. Pulled pork, half chicken, ribs, brisket, 5 biscuits, pork sausage. Comes with 3 sides, we chose stuffing, potato salad and chili cheese spud. It was delicious, much better than the known places I've been to in Vancouver. Great smoke flavor, meat was moist and flavorful. If your over in Sechelt I highly recommend it.

Wow! This joint is fantastic. Great smoked meat selection. I ordered the train wreck sandwich on sour dough. This came with smoked sausage, pulled pork, and beef brisket. Great combination of meat and flavour! Cool ambience inside. Some indoor seating and outdoor seating. If you're a family they have "feasts," here for 5 and 10 people. Great value and awesome option for takeout to the beach

Really nice BBQ sauce! Chill small place that's good for family and friends to get a nice meaty meal in Sechelt.

Excellent food, great service. Really comfortable space. My favorite is the sliders with pulled pork and the stuffing for the side. Yum!

Decent food service was friendly but slow. Ribs were very tasty but the rest was average.

We are visiting from the Fraser Valley and this is hands down the best BBQ we've ever had. The sausage and the brisket were just incredible.

Awesome BBQ. Very substantial servings. Decor is stripped down, so go for the food.

I must say it was nice and juicy. With that said, wow it's pricy. The "Vancouver's Best Cornbread" is a pretty tall claim, but this place delivers. The cornbread is suprisingly moist and sweet. Of course, try not to think about the ingredients. Definitely worth trying. Pretty solid food if one has deep enough pockets. Recommended.

Maybe it's better in the prairies but here I've find it hard to find either beef or pork cooked right with most it either being dry, unseasoned or undersmoked. The big plus for Rosie's is they actually seem to know how to cook brisket using fatty cuts and smoking it long enough to breakdown the connective tissue without it getting mushy. It could have been smoked even longer but it was probably the best I've had in BC. They don't have burnt ends and at least the server I dealt with didn't seem to know what they are. They at least know you never serve Texas BBQ with sauce on it. It's expensive for BBQ which seems to be standard in Canada with 18 dollars for just 1/2 a pound but it's good enough I'll pay it. They didn't ask if I wanted lean or fatty which is traditional in BBQ joints. I found the pulled pork to not be as good. It didn't have the flavour or moistness that I expect especially compared to the South Carolina pulled pork that I prefer and eat when visiting family there. Also it looks more chopped than pulled. If that is Vancouver's best cornbread I'm guessing the bar for cornbread is pretty low too. It's too sweet. Cornbread is a savory dish. The moistness was good. This would be bog standard Q in Austin or Charleston but for Vancouver it's very very good.

Welp- i visited in a month without an "r" and hence oysters are not the most ideal...apparently. And my kids are the meat and potatoes type crew. Coming from Texas i was alittle skeptical, but that quickly faded with the hometown hospitality of the smoke on the water staff. The big friendly guy took our order- amused my kiddos- and we were ordering lots of bbq on a pier. Ordered- BBQ beef sandwich- delicious sauce with a little bite Meat was requested for the leaner cuts and was fulfilled. No blobs of fat, and just lean tender meat. Poutine with pulled pork/bbq beef /bacon - fries were crispy, hot , and potatoe filled - meat was on point - cheese curds were curding/ melting and stringy Both id say were 5/5! So moral of this review is that you dont need to question why you are ordering bbq on a pier, near so much water, on an island only accessible by a ferry. This place reps well, and has mucho bbq aura. The seating is alittle limited, just patio high stools and counter tops. You view the marina and could see some whales or seals pop up

We ordered the brisket platters, and while the portion sizes were generous, the brisket was on the fattier side and could've used a bit more seasoning overall. The mac and cheese had great flavor and that classic comfort-food vibe, though it was a little dense. The corn flan was just okay...nice idea, but it didn't totally come together for me. We also got the chicken wings, and I have to say, we were impressed! They were actual full wing pieces, not tiny or over-fried, which was a nice surprise. There's limited seating, so it's definitely more of a grab-and-go or casual quick-bite spot. All in all, solid BBQ with potential, but I'd love to see a bit more seasoning and balance in the dishes.
