Now at the time my daughter was sick and was not feeling well and I had to rescheduled which was no hassle. A couple of weeks later it was time for her to take her photos. Upon entering they asked us to remove our shoes and put on their shoes that they had which was fine with us. We understood. They set up the family photos first because my boyfriend had to go to work and they were so accommodating. After the family photos it was time for my daughter to take her photos. At the time she still wasn't feeling very well and she was not very friendly to people she did not know. It was very hard for her to smile in a lot of the pictures or even sit still. Most of the photos she was crying and asking for me. They had to accommodate my daughter by putting me in the photos just to get decent photos. Now I give this place 5 stars because they were so patient and understanding. They were just going to different backgrounds just trying to get decent photos. They really try to laugh it out and try to make her laugh and smile. I really give them an A+ for trying when my daughter was just not having it. The reason why I'm leaving this review after a year and a half because I was no longer able to download the photos so I emailed them last night asking if there was something that I can go to get those photos and they happily sent over the photos stating they only keep the photos for one year. I greatly appreciate what they did that day a year ago and what they did this morning. Recently I was looking for an outdoor photo session package on Groupon and decided to give Avis…read morePhotography a try because hey it is only $49.50! [What I like what Avis Photography]: If anyone has any experience on hiring a photographer, then you know (1) price is not transparent and (2) it is not cheap to have a full package experience (typically $200+ per hour from what I have heard). The owner Avis was very transparent on pricing and didn't shy away from honoring the Groupon deal. [Groupon Deal]: $49.50 = one-hour outdoor photo session (Avis takes about 100 - 200 photos) with one touched up 8x10 print with its digital file OR two touched up images with no prints. An additional half hour is $25. Appointment required via email or call. Avis allows customers to bring a second outfit, but I never had a chance to do a complete outfit change except switching a jacket. Customers can purchase all high resolution digital files for an additional $110. Avis will give her customers a chance to review all images by sending contact sheets via email. [Location & time]: The Groupon deal mentioned images taken in locations like Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley or Dog Beach in Huntington Beach, but Avis ended up recommending The Secret Garden (located behind the Huntington Beach Library). She also recommended 6 PM as the best time to take pictures. I was able to schedule a session with her within a week of reaching out and Avis was pretty quick at responding my emails. [Photo session]: Avis is the owner of her own studio and Avis Photography is her post retirement job. She was friendly and used up the entire 60 minutes. During the session, Avis showed some of shots to me during the session and displayed her excitement. At the end, Avis said it will take few days for her to process all photos. While I personally like some of poses, photos aren't as crazily good as other photography studios that I had experienced. The Secret Garden was a good spot to take photos don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't say it is one of the best of the best locations. [Conclusion]: It was a pleasant experience and honestly two touched up digital images for less than $50 is a pretty good deal. I would recommend the Groupon deal for anyone who's ONLY looking for one or two pictures they need for headshots, business poses, or social poses.

However, I want to focus on the customer service. I have forgotten more times than I can count in regards to the deadline to buy the pictures or that the email that the pictures were sent too was incorrect, and every time this place shows the highest level of patience with me to retrieve my daughters pictures in their archives and work with me to make sure I have the correct link. If I can give this place 10 stars I would. Their customer service and patience is truly remarkable. For that, I'd truly pay whatever they asked for the photos because nowadays customer service is an afterthought!

I have been meaning to write this review for a while so here it goes…read more I email for some maternity pictures when i was pregnant and i never got a respond. it wasn't until a few months after my daughter was born that i received an response apology for not getting back in time. I was offered a free session and i was completely blown away and felt that my memories that i want captured are validated. Due to having to reschedule on my part a few times we were unable to get a session in. The reason for the 5 stars was because Everything Captured was completely understanding when we had to reschedule and never made me feel like it was such a big burden. I appreciate even reaching out months after and explained what had happen and offering to make it up when in reality didn't have too. To me that shows his truthful character and can be trust worthy. Looking forward to scheduling a session in the near future.

My significant other and I thought it would be fun to do some photos at an arcade to capture our relationship and to add to our first holiday card together, so we booked a session with Manda. I didn't know what to expect, but Manda was very helpful. She gave a couple of venue suggestions and took care of every detail. We had a lot of fun doing the session, and I almost forgot we had a photographer. She was prompt in sending me the photos, and they turned out great! She seems to go in a different direction than what I've seen other photographers do (but again, I don't have previous experience) in that she seems to do more candid-style, rather than posed, shots.
