Lucy Nails has recently gotten new management. It's made all the difference! They now accept debit/credit and have expanded their offerings. I got my first gel manicure here and LOVED it! I'm a former nail biter and ANYONE who can make my nails look healthy is CLEARLY a winner. The pedicure was AWESOME. I got the basic spa pedicure (no spa organics) and it STILL came with a hot towel treatment and a really nice scrub. No chips for the life of the pedicure. Eyebrows have been hit or miss...each time I've been, there has been a different brow tech. Still much better than many other places I've tried. They honor appointments! believe the negative reviews. they are all true. I explained what I wanted several times and did not get it. This nail shop is where I go when the others are super busy. it's my last resort, because you can walk in and get seated quickly because they rarely have customers. but once you're seated, you'll be waiting well over an hour for them to get started even with them only having 1 other customer. usually only get a pedicure, because I they cannot do nails. they seem to force you to wear false nails. every single time they've done my nails, I've had to stop them from trying to clip my nails as if they don't understand what a manicure is. once before, they clipped one of them down and when I ya led my hand back, they apologized and said they thought I wanted tips. if you turn your head from them, you'll end up with something completely opposite to what you asked for. not sure how this nail shop is still operating. the few times I've went I've been disappointed. I usually tip very well, but because the nail tech was so horrible, I didn't tip anything because I do not plan on returning ever again. I went in for a manicure and a pedicure. ended up leaving with a no manicure, a thick overlay and paid $120. because they're English isn't so good, and they don't seem to comprehend well. I paid and left no tip. mind you, and the pedicure I go was $35, I got french tips on both. how does that equal $120? if you don't wear false nails and don't want thick tacky looking nails. do not go here. you will regret it. now I have to go to another nail shop to have this corrected. read more

Not Hispanic friendly. Waited over an hour, and still wasn't helped, people were behind me and they were called up for service first. When I chose to go home, all of a sudden, the nail techs called for me to stay and that I was next. Not sure why this business continues to run, after over 15 years of "giving this place a try" we're left with a nasty impression. Prejudice, Rude, Poor service overall. read more

I tried this place on a Saturday because it was extremely busy at my regular salon. I came here and the wait was less than 5 minutes, which was nice until I realized that that that's the kind of job they will do. The lady didn't say a single word she just waited my nails in less than 3 minutes. The wait was longer than the actual service. I paid $10 for a (to me) crap job. I got my nails done here for my wedding. They normally do a decent job but this time was horrible. They only had one lady doing gel nails and I feel she rushed because of that. Got gel nails done they used metal buffer on my nails and damaged them. Then gel nails came off after 3 days. My nails are now damaged and need a while to grow out and I am using hard as nails to repair them. Bad part is I waited over 30 minutes for a horrible nail damaging experience. Also got my eyebrows waxed there wax was too hot and lady didn't understand what I was trying to say. They don't speak English very well at all and are rude to customers. Horrible service. I was going to this place due to convenience. The first couple of times they did a decent job. However, the last two times I went there I was left soaking for over an hour and watched them work on people arriving after me. From what I could tell they did not have an appointment. Took my grand daughter(11years old) here after lunch at CiCi's Pizza. She got a gel manicure and I had my eyebrows waxed and a regular spa pedicure. An older gentleman did her manicure she felt his manner was rough, instead of asking or motioning to change hands he roughly would push one hand off to the side and grab the other hand. Not gentle at all. My impression with my tech was much the same very little eye contact, she only talked with the other techs around her in her own language. Her manner was rough as if she was begrudgingly doing a job instead of taking pride and providing great service to retain clientele. I will not go here again. Lucy Nails is usually my last resort when I'm wanting to get my nails done. There is always a long wait for whatever service I need because there are not enough employees to actually fill up even half of the nail and pedicure stations. The actual services preformed are average; nothing special that makes them worth going to over another salon. They are very persistent about their upsales to the point that it becomes aggravating, and if you do say no to whatever they're trying to talk you into they will have a significant attitude change and be rude and start gossiping in a different language. My Granddaughter, her fiance' and myself went to get pedicures/manicures. We had made an appointment, which I would advise, because we were all three taken to the pedicure chairs immediately. They were very busy and had several walk-ins that had to wait for those of us who made appt. They weren't thrilled, but really what do you expect. I had the Mango pedicure and it was amazing, massage, hot wax, hot towels and wonderful mango rub. They took their time with you and made you feel like the only one there. They are eager to do their best to give you a manicure with your design/idea intact. They did an amazing job. They may not have a fancy spa like atmosphere, and their prices reflect that. Everyone there was very friendly, helpful and concentrated on YOU and giving you a good experience. I will definitely go back, as it was a relaxing and a job well done. All appear to be very good at what they do, but I will always ask for TINA, she is fun and knows what she is doing, very good. I just did a pedicure about 1 week ago the woman who did it was so rough on me my skin grow out and is now infected when I went in their asking for the managers number and for me to be able to speak to her the lady in charge was rude to me would not give me the managers number and told me she would not give me a refund after that she told me I have to have a doctors note proving its their fault and gave me no options . Again I asked her if I could plz have the managers number and she refused to give it me ! If anyone knows of anything I can do or how to reach their manager plz let me know and help me I might have to get my nail token of because of this problem and the worse part is they refuse to help me .
