My daughter's wedding gown was FILTHLY. To be completely honest, I didn't think her dress would ever get clean simply because the train was so black with dust and dirt. She didn't bustle it correctly and then took her very high heels off which caused the train to drag all night. She even had spray tan marks under the arms. We chose to use Lux Cleaners & Alterations, despite it being further away than about a dozen other cleaning options, because of their great reviews - reviews seemed pretty consistent between both Yelp & Google maps, so we took 1 suit (jacket & pants), 1 dress shirt, and 1 very expensive dress (4 pieces total) to be dry cleaned. I dropped off on a Monday and was told they would all be ready by Friday afternoon. I received a text Thursday afternoon that they were ready early! I picked up Friday late morning, and was pleasantly surprised by the price I paid. I recall reading a review about someone being charged $30/piece... so I was prepared for sticker shock. However, I was charged a very reasonable amount. I would assume the price you pay depends on the item condition when you bring it in. Our items were in good condition after a single wear. Each item I was beautifully cleaned and pressed. I think we accidentally left the pocket square in the jacket pocket, and they *appear to have* cleaned and pressed that for us too! Without advanced notice, when I pick up the shirt that was only pressed, the charge was $18!! The reason being that it's a designer shirt so there's a surcharge for pressing!?!?! First of all, the shirt is standard (no special jewelry or sequences/decorations on the standard buttoned shirt except the designer label!! Second, they have failed to explain what are the extra work applied on this "expensive" shirt other than the standard press. Honestly, they have definitely gone too far with this. read more

Parking- right up in front they have reserved parking for customer drop off and pick up I brought in 5 items and all were professionally cleaned well. They were all special types of clothing items so I knew going in that it would require some special treatment. I should have asked for the pricing FIRST and decide what NOT to dry clean. 1. White Skirt- Alterations: replace a zipper: $27.50 Dry Clean 2. Black cashmere winter long coat- $41.00 3. Chinese traditional quilted shirt- $27.50 4. Red Chinese traditional quilted blazer- $27.50 5. Child size wool coat with leather trim buttons- $46.50. Total bill- $170. I think it's probably typical pricing these days, just don't be shocked and inquire first for each item if they are indeed unique pieces that requires extra effort to clean. read more
