He got me the estimate quickly and then came back out again to do exact measurements for the final estimate. Again, just very helpful throughout the process. Waiting for the windows took a while so I think we did end up waiting like 2-3 months between that visit and getting them installed which was the only negative of our experience. Installation team was fantastic. I think there were 3-4 people there. Ed was in charge. Just nice guys, we felt comfortable having them in the house. Cleaned up very well. Everything looks great and very professionally installed. Kept us updated with some random things they found (rotting wood) when reframing the windows. Again answered questions anytime we had them. On time both coming and leaving. Cost seems reasonable for what we got and from speaking with friends but I'm no window expert. Planning on having them come back out next year to finish the rest of the windows. Good experience overall.

It feels like a major home renovation. And in a lot of ways, it was -- the last three windows that Louie and Ameon expertly replaced for me turned out to be fully rotted around the frames, unbeknownst to me. As with the previous job, they handled everything with extreme care and attention to detail. The house was again spotless when they left. I felt like I was in great hands throughout. I contacted multiple contractors and different companies and it was clear my business was never important - I'd get ghosted for appointments, took months to get quotes, and more. He helped customize a plan for our home based on what would remedy our current situation and prevent future issues. Previous homeowners had windows installed by a contractor who sources from NBP. They are covered…read moreunder a lifetime warranty. The previous homeowners left all of their papers. We are still covered, per the warranty. Now the contractor tells us that NBP was sold and won't honor warranties anymore. This sounds crazy. I called NBP and their associate (in the rudest tone imaginable) tells me I have to talk to the contractor. The warranty I have is from the manufacturer. They are the manufacturer. Contractor is telling me the manufacturer won't replace the (defective) windows for free--I have to pay $180 per sash (half a window) and that this is a "deal." I can't believe that this is a "deal" given that--of our 8 windows (16 sashes), we have had to replace 6 sashes (37.5%) in the last 3.5 years... And where will the new sashes they want me to pay for come from? NBP. But those would be covered under a new lifetime warranty... Also, I like how they have ONE positive review... and its from a Yelper who has only posted ONE review, LOL, nice try!

I called them at 3pm on the day of their scheduled visit, and it was obvious they'd completely forgotten about me). Then their $400 estimate struck me as high, so I called Del Val. My Del Val contact, Mark, asked thorough questions. Both times his guys showed up (for the assessment and then the installation), it was within minutes of the scheduled time. Final repair cost me $195 - Mark's exact estimate - and the window looks great. Service guys were friendly and quick. The next time apocalyptic weather conditions affect my casa, I'm calling these DelVal first.
