Ossobucco and chicken with veggies which

The Ossobucco. Was incredible. The pork fell off the bone. Vet Abel's were superbly grilled. Order the angel hair homemade for the pasta which was perfect. My wife had the chicken with veggies which was also fabulous and portions are generous.

I have dined at this establishment twice now. To be transparent, my first experience was a 2 star. However, today I enjoyed myself. The service was quick and efficient. My biggest complaint with my first visit was the food, but today I was impressed with the food. Although not a 5 star meal it did the job and left me satisfied. The feel of the restaurant is slightly outdated but overall cleanly. I enjoyed the bread they brought as an appetizer despite its slight cardboard taste. The bathrooms are small but they do have a lock if you ever need to hide from annoying dinner companions. I wouldn't come here if you're looking for a fine dining experience. But if you're looking for an Italian home cooked style meal this might be just the place for you. Arrivederci!

Luigi's is a good spot if you're looking for a simple and sufficient Italian meal experience. The meal began with a basket of bread rolls that weren't anything special, but they definitely aroused my appetite. The servers promptly brought out another basket once the first one was finished which was much appreciated. For my main course, I had the chicken parm which, again, wasn't anything special, but it was both delicious and enjoyable. For me, a restaurant always earns extra points when the water refills come often, and that was certainly the case with Luigi's. This should speak to the quality of their service which, I would say, was the highlight of the dinner. I'm glad I was able to share this experience with some of my best buds, and we even had a special performance between courses from my friend, Zach. Would dine here again!

PLEASE visit Luigi's!! If you're looking for great food served with superior customer service, you need to go to Luigi's! They provided some of the most polite, and attentive service that I've had recently. I'm from out of town and I stopped in to pick up a pizza to-go a few days ago. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication on my order and I got the wrong item. (It was wonderful, by the way). I phoned them when I got home and noticed the mistake, and they said to come back in and they'd make it right...and they DID, two days later! He was not going to charge me, but I paid him most of what it would have been - mistakes happen, and they made it right! Absolute superior customer service - which in my opinion, is missing in a lot of restaurants. Luigi's has it! Luigi's, please keep doing what you're doing!

Garlic Buns... do not recommend the buns. Appears burnt and taste too garlicky. I enjoy garlic but this was too much. Texture was tough to chew. It appears it was under the heating lamp for too long. I did request fresh buns.. The waiter was kind to Bering more. Mussels were a good choice for an appetizer. Chicken piccata was lacking a bit of the wine flavor. I would still recommend this restaurant. The prices were reasonable. The waiter was attentive. Staff was friendly Restrooms were clean and along with the dining area.

First of all our waitress was just awesome! Very attentive and sweet lady! When you walk in it's very clean and pretty. Seating is very comfortable and spacious. I was impressed with the food especially the ravioli with meatballs. It was very tasty and enough for one. It was very standard Italian food like chicken Alfredo, ravioli, marinara sauce etc. They serve you garlic bread rolls before the meal so that was nice. The portions were good for the price and everything came out clean, pretty, hot and overall really good. The waitress even gave us some mushrooms plate on the house and the sauce with it was good. The tiramisu dessert was so delicious too. Not too sweet, not too dry just great. The parking is good and the place is very clean and pretty. We went on New Year's Eve and they were open until 8pm.

Let me start with the good. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. And she was fairly quick, and checked on us regularly. The ambiance was quiet (we visited on a Sunday at lunch) and the place was about 1/3 full. The white linen tablecloths and plush seats were a nod to a more formal era, maybe their heyday. But I was completely underwhelmed with the food and value for what we got. We split the Luigi Combo that came with fettuccini Alfredo, lasagna and chicken parm. I ordered a side salad because nothing came with the $19.95 plate. What I got was a $3.50 plate of lettuce (see photo). No tomato, cucumber, croutons, nothing but lettuce with a few brown spots and I think shredded carrot. The garlic knot rolls (see photo) looked appetizing but I think they forgot the garlic. Just blah bread I'm not sure if these were complimentary, the menu listed them under appetizers for $3.50 but they weren't on our tab. The $2.95 side of marinara was cold (see photo). The fettuccini lacked a bit of salt but I could tell it was homemade pasta. The 4 bites worth of lasagna was ok as was the 4 bites worth of chicken parm that came on the plate. I don't think I'll try this place again. I think it rides it's reputation from years ago, the decor tells me it's been here awhile and is in need of a refresh both inside and on the menu.

We found The Wharf listed as the best seafood restaurant in town and the reviews were very good. We arrived and instantly liked what we saw. The decor both outside and inside says, "Seafood" to customers, having a fishing dock look outside and a wooden ship like interior. We were quickly and professionally seated in a cozy booth, and the bar server arrived to take our bar orders within moments. Our drinks arrived very shortly afterwards followed by our server, Lacey. She introduced herself and told us that she would give us a few moments to look over the menu and would be back. She was neatly dressed and very pleasant to talk with. True to her word, Lacey returned a few minutes later when she saw that we had put down our menus, which were very extensive. The surf and turf lover's dream, I would say. We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer. Each order came with eight shrimp, perfectly prepared on ice. The cocktail sauce was excellent, not being too sweet and pleasantly tart with an extra bite to the horse radish. My wife and I ordered 1 lbs. of the Dungeness crab each, that being the crab legs that were available that evening. Our entrees arrived shortly after we had finished our shrimp. I will state, uncategorically that this was the best crab leg dinner I have had in fifty years, and I grew up on the northern California coast where these crabs were probably caught. I am not a sea food lover like my wife. I only like lobster, shrimp and crab. I never eat the knuckle meat on crap legs because they always taste fishy to me. These did not. All of the meat was almost sweet with a very rich and robust flavor. The crab was served with a generous helping of well-prepared asparagus, my favorite side with crab. The bill for our dinner, with five drinks added, was less than $150, not including a generous tip. It was well worth the cost. To sum up, the wait staff were pleasant and knowledgeable, wait times were short even with a full house, food more than that just excellent, ambiance relaxing and unhurried. We will be visiting The Wharf again, when we next travel to San Angelo.

We were greeted and seated within a minute of walking in at 5pm. I'm not that familiar with this type of dining so I'm not knocking the restaurant for me not liking my dinner, it's just not my thing I guess. I'm giving 4 stars because they did not have Thai Iced Tea on hand for this evenings dinner guest, apparently the lady who makes it wasn't in today. My opinion, a Thai restaurant not having Thai Iced Tea is like a Mexican restaurant not having margaritas, a bit disappointing. We were the first dinner guest in the restaurant and our dinners were a bit of a wait (longer than usual) from order to service and that was ok as it gave us time to visit. Our drinks and appetizers were served fairly quick. Our waitress was very friendly and tried to help me decide on dinner by explaining a few options. The place was clean and inviting with ample seating and filled up quickly within the hour. I'm only picturing my dinner and I can't remember what it was. It had a strong after taste so I tried each individual piece to pinpoint what had that flavor. One of our friends said perhaps it's lemon grass but whatever it was caused me not to finish my dinner.

I know you know yesterday was Valentine's Day, and it's a good day to take your "Better Half" (and…read moreyou know that's true) out for Dinner at one of her favorite places. "The Grill". That also sounds really good to me. We know The Grill will be busy, especially since Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday, so we left earlier than normal. Arrived, and a good number of cars were parked all around. Walked in, and the place is packed, with every bar stool and table taken. The Hostess said it will only be a few minutes for your table. In a couple of minutes, a table was available. After we were seated, more people arrived, but they also only had to wait a couple of minutes. The Grill has two bartenders working along with several servers, and a couple of employees cleaning up the tables when they become available. Our Server is Sophia, and she took our drink order. Two Jack-N-Cokes and waters. While we waited for our drinks, we looked over the menu. We kind of already know what we are going to order, and we did. My Wife is going with one of her usuals, their "Happy Hour Nachos" ($6.50), listed as 'Roasted Pork Nachos' on the main menu. Slow Roasted Pork, Chipotle Sauce, Tomatoes, Cilantro, Black Beans, Cheddar Cheese over lots of Fresh Chips with Green sliced Jalapenos on one side, and Red sliced Jalapenos throughout the plate. I am going with the "Baja Fish Tacos", Blackened Baja Fish with Chipotle Sauce, and pickled Slaw. Served with Guacamole, Rice, Black Beans, and double Corn Tortillas for three Tacos. We placed our order with Sophia when she served our drinks. Then we toasted to Valentine's Day, and us. The bartenders here make the Best Jack-N-Cokes around. They are really good, smoooooooth, and go down easy. While we waited for our food, The Grill became busier and busier, with more people waiting. Glad we came a little early. Sophia stopped by, as well as one of the Managers checking on us to see if we needed anything. Service here is always tops. Soon our food arrived, and my Wife's Roasted Pork Nachos were served the same as they always have been, piled up high and covering the entire plate, and I might add, very colorful. I Love the way they prepare the Baja Fish Tacos with a Huge chunk of perfectly grilled fish all by itself next to the Rice & Black Beans, a large scoop of Fresh Guacamole, and several Corn Tortillas for you to make your own, with Pickled Slaw to the side. Both dishes are a Beautiful Presentation of Deliciousness that you will find nowhere else. The Grill does it right. My Wife's Nachos have a lot of melted cheese oozing everywhere with lots of corn chips and several pounds of Roasted Pulled Pork. Well, okay, maybe not 'pounds', but there are a lot of large chunks throughout this dish. She said it is delicious and loving that Pulled Pork. She ate about half of it and will take the rest home for a meal that will be for both of us - you get a lot of food at The Grill. I cut off a long chunk of fish, spread their Chipotle Sauce on a couple of corn tortillas, then the fish, topping it off with rice & black beans, guacamole, and their pickled slaw. This Fish Taco is Deliciousness and more. The perfectly grilled Baja Fish has lots of flavor with just enough spice from the chipotle sauce. I made three of these, each a little different, and they all were very Tastylicious. Each Taco was so filled with goodies I could not fold it over, and I ate them more like a Tostada instead. Either way, they are The Best. I also have some fish left over that I ate with the remaining sides, adding that chipotle sauce to each bite. I ate all of mine, with no leftovers to take home. While we were enjoying our food, Sophia said that she would like to take a picture of us with my camera because we are a cute couple. Hey, I couldn't disagree with that, so she did. Flattery will get you everywhere. Thank You Sophia. Well, guess what? Sophia earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award for going 'above-n-beyond' the norm, and a nice tip. We boxed up my Wife's leftovers and headed home, and The Grill was still busy as ever when we left. This was a Great way to enjoy a Valentine's Day Dinner.
