Luigi's is our go to for pizza. The price on the large supreme pizza is unbeatable. The most authentic crust in our town. very good!

We always have great food and wonderful service here. Everything tastes fresh. So fortunate to have a family owned, casual place to eat in Angleton.

This little hidden gem in a small town is something to check out. It was a little hard to find since the front door does not face the street. The bread/rolls were the most disspointing thing here. It was actually horrible. I love bread. I couldn't eat their bread. I even put butter on it.... still not good. Butter couldn't fix their bread. I was getting worried about my choice in eatting here. This place has pretty good Cesar salad and chicken fettuccine alfredo. The Cesar salad had a tad too much dressing for my taste. The chicken is cooked perfectly. I normally am too scared to order chicken because they will over cook it or it has no flavor. In this case, I would order anything with chicken at this place. The noodles were nice and light, it was like a fluffy noodle. The sauce was not heavy, covered all the noodles, and there was not extra sauce on the plate - what i am saying is the noodle and alfredo sauce were portioned perfectly! Sensible portion and good prices! I would visit this establishment again, but only if i was in the area.

I have been here years ago and was a bit underwhelmed. But recently I went, and was happy with our experience. The food is good. We went with a bigger group, but it still came out very quickly and was fresh. Everyone enjoyed what the ordered. The bread was soft and warm, we really enjoyed that as well. They provided us with a complimentary appetizer, little chicken bites. They were great! The lunch specials aren't pricy, which is nice if you have to eat out often during your work week. The dinner menu looked great, as well. I will be back to try that out, as well. :) The waitress was pleasant, and made sure we were never in need of anything. She got our order in quick and was great with suggestions for lunch. The restaurant wasn't busy, but had room to accommodate larger parties if needed. Excuse the rushed photos... we were too hungry to really wait!

This is in a very run down strip mall but the inside of this restaurant is fine considering. I went about 9 months before coming here just because the outside is a turn off. That said, I've come here a few times and the food is usually pretty good for a small italian restaurant in Angleton. The pizza dough is pretty lackluster. Desserts however are a bright spot as they have great cannolis. They are also pretty affordable for the area and quality of food. There are far worse places that cost far more in Angleton.

Let's begin with the exterior, the restaurant may need a update. Once, you get past the doors though a whole new scenery I was shocked. Great interior, nice seating almost felt as if it could become an upscale restaurant with some minor changes. To the food we had to try the calamari just because it sounded good. Turned out to be perfect nice crunch with a good texture. The bread on the other hand not so great of course it was made in house, but freshness just wasn't there. I like a roll or bun hot as it just popped out the oven. The service was great greeted us nicely and had some recomendations which made it easier for first time dinning. When I see a folder menu I sort of question if the Italian restaurant uses quality ingredients. The food showed up remarkably quick also any entree a salad is included I had the ceasar it was good. Then the main dishes showed up accordingly very nice timing by the way. Had the spaghetti with Veal tasteful lots of flavors. One thing I could add the portions where a little big maybe tone it down a bit focus more on the quality. We did not have room for dessert although, they didn't have many choices. Overall nice atmosphere, good food, service great, some changes would make this place awesome. Yes, I will be back again for dinner.

That the food was amazing, the ambience was great, friendly waitstaff. First of all, we came in 30 minutes early for our 7pm reservation. We went inside and asked if they had our table ready, which they didn't (which is perfectly fine understanding it is valentine's day and it is quite early for our reservation). Our waiter said she would come and find us when our table was ready. With nowhere to sit inside, we waited outside on a bench. About 15 minutes before 7 it started pouring rain. The outside deck is covered, but it was so windy and raining so hard it was blowing on us too. We waited for a while hoping she would come and find us for our table. Nothing. 7pm rolls around and we go inside to check up on it. She finally leads us to our table and it's wet (indoor table). She has to wipe it down and then gives us our menus. Our waiter seemed scared of us?? She rarely came to check on us, only when necessary. Staff was walking around so quickly they were brushing us as they walked by, and even blew out the candle on our table. The lights were flickering all night long. The table next to us were asked to leave since they "needed more tables". Salad came out, 50% of it was onions. Also the smallest salad i'd ever seen. And then my meal came out. about 5 minutes before my boyfriend's meal did. i included a photo of it. i ordered the garlic and shrimp stuffed ravioli in alfredo sauce. Tell me why there was FIVE raviolis. FIVE!!!! That's 10 bites of food minimum. And it didn't even taste that good!!! And that 10 bites of food was $25?? Are we being so for real right now???? I came to that restaurant expecting to have leftovers for the next day and instead left hungry.

I ordered my daughter the kids' spaghetti and meatballs. When it arrived, there was one meatball. My daughter looked at it and said, "Where are the meatballs?" We actually laughed about it. I called and spoke with Terry, the General Manager. I mentioned that it seemed odd to advertise the dish as "meatballs" when it comes with only one. His response was, "You get one meatball for that price." I suggested something incredibly simple: if cost is the issue, why not make two smaller meatballs so the dish actually comes with "meatballs"? Terry sarcastically responded, "You want us to do double the work at that price point? No way." The conversation continued downhill from there. To the owners: This is how you lose customers over a meatball. I wasn't demanding free food, a refund, or even an additional meatball. This could have been resolved with, "I understand what you mean. Thanks for the feedback." Instead, your General Manager chose to argue with a customer and respond with sarcasm. I genuinely feel bad for the owners because I can't imagine you've worked this hard to build a business only to have a manager make customers feel like an inconvenience. The irony is that I probably would have ordered from here again without giving the one-meatball situation another thought. Terry's attitude--not the meatball--is why we won't be returning. An apology and a little basic customer service would have gone much further than sarcasm.

We ordered a glass of wine and were told the business was under new ownership and the new owner didn't have his TACB license yet. I mentioned to the waitress (her 1st day) that we could byob. She and another waitress who'd been there for a while both told us that we could not byob. They stated they could be shut down if someone brought their own wine into the establishment. I'm pretty sure that's not correct, but we didn't argue with them. We had the spagetti and meat sauce and lobster stuffed ravioli. Both were okay, but not excellent. Also, he asked for Italian dressing for his salad only to be told they didn't have Italian dressing. How can you call yourself an Italian Restaurant and not have Italian dressing? My Cesar salad was a lettuce and tomato salad with mozzarella cheese. The only thing that separated it from a house salad was the dressing. If we go again, I think we'll maybe try the pizza. There are several good reviews on their pizza, buy they were all posted before the change in ownership. I wish Bay City had a Pappadeux"s

Accompanying us were our good friends from home. After a long wait on the ferry to get over to the island, we worked up quite an appetite. Build a bridge already, TXDOT. I digress.. We were in search of a new lunch spot on the island. After polling the audience, pizza is what the fam wanted. After a little searching, we decided on Mama Teresa's Flying Pizza. Many moons ago they had a location on the Bolivar side, but I never had a chance to try it before Ike. After a small journey to find a parking spot, myself and my party of 10 strolled right in. The atmosphere walking in was pleasant and had the old pizza parlor feel to it. Luckily they had a big round table that accommodated comfortably. Greeted by a waiter with menus and a smile, we ordered our drinks and perused the menu. Lots of very yummy looking dishes. In good time our drinks arrived and appetizers were ordered. For my troops, we ordered the garlic bread with cheese for the table, a large pepperoni and black olive pizza for the wife and me; baked ziti for kiddo #1; fettuccine Alfredo, sans ham for kiddo #2; and spaghetti with garlic and oil for the kiddo's friend who joined. I didn't hear what the other family ordered. The appetizer took just a minute, but it arrived. Simple bread with simple cheese. Simple, but delicious. The basket was obliterated and went quick. The one piece I had was delicious. If you have a small family, one basket will suffice. Anything more than four people, I think you will need a second basket. Now with the bread gone, we were left to chat and enjoy each other's company. While waiting, we saw why the name for the place. One would think it was just a cheeky name for a pizza joint, but they actually throw the dough here. The folks back in the kitchen were making the dough fly. Literally. We all found it very entertaining. Our food arrived and we got to work. The pizza was delicious. The perfect balance of gooey cheese, yummy red sauce, crispy pizza, and perfectly cooked pepperoni. Kiddo #1 said her baked ziti was delicious, but would not offer up a sample. Boo! Kiddo #2 offered a taste of the fettuccine Alfredo and it was dreamy. A tad different tasting from your typical Alfredo sauce, but it was amazingly excellent. The kiddo's friend inhaled the spaghetti. I am not sure she even tasted it. We paid our bill and were on our way! I highly recommend Mama Teresa's Flying pizza. The service (considering our party of 10) was amazing, the food was excellent, and our overall experience was outstanding. From now on when the fam and I come to the island, this will be a mandatory stop. Give this place a try. You will be glad you did! Enjoy!

The interior of the restaurant is small, but interesting. The pizza making portion of their kitchen is visible from the tables, so you can watch them as they make the pizzas. Our waiter was super friendly, and the service was excellent. We started off our meal with the fried mushroom appetizer. Usually, when you order fried mushrooms, you get an entire mushroom dipped in breading and fried. Here the mushrooms are chopped into chunks before breading and frying. It came with both marinara and ranch for dipping sauces. We loved having the smaller chunks, because if you've ever eaten fried mushrooms, you know that when you bite into them , the juice can sear your mouth. By using smaller chunks, it was much easier to eat, especially when piping hot. We were surprised that they didn't carry banana peppers as a topping for pizzas, but other than that, our pizza was fabulous! We deliberately bought a larger pizza than we needed, because we were looking for leftovers. The pizza heated up well the next day! We would highly recommend visiting Mama Teresa's!

So disappointed!!!…read more I've been coming to Riondo's since 2013. What was once a delightful Italian retreat with exceptional homemade seafood ravioli and attentive service has, unfortunately, lost much of the charm and value that kept me coming back for years. I was excited to introduce my sisters-in-law to one of my longtime favorites, but after spending nearly $400 for lunch for three adults and two children, I left disappointed. The service was average, the prices felt excessive for the quality, and several dishes were heavily oversalted. My $42 Diablo Cioppino was particularly disappointing. Not only was it nearly inedible due to the overwhelming heat and spice level, but it also contained surprisingly little seafood for a dish at that price point. The Gulf Shrimp Carbonara featured overcooked shrimp, and nearly every entrée suffered from excessive salt. While the homemade seafood ravioli remains a highlight, it wasn't enough to offset the overall experience. After more than a decade of loyal visits, this was the first time I questioned whether Riondo's still delivers the quality, consistency, and value that once made it a destination restaurant.
