So I would suggest if you're looking for your system to be repaired properly, I would use someone else. He did charge me $170 for a an incomplete repair. The technicians that I did have come out and fix it the following day actually tore out what he because they said it wasn't done correctly. Update.... They apologized and gave me a full refund.

He fixed the irrigation line but re-installed the pot backwards with the seam to the front (very ugly). The pot was also installed way out of level. Pics below. I sent him these pictures and asked that he make this right. He refused to come out and suggested I find someone else. I understand that people make mistakes, but when they do not stand behind their work, it is not acceptable. I will not be using Sergio again for any jobs big or small. And will not be recommending him to any of my neighbors.

Roland was our contractor and he gave us very reasonable estimates and stayed within budget and stuck to the timeline. They did artificial turf in our front yard and added a concrete step pathway to our front door. We were extremely happy with the way it turned out. They also did a waterfall feature in our backyard which did have a few issues, like the motor going out several times. However, every time we reached out to Roland, he followed through and sent his guys to resolve the issue. He stands behind his work, and even when the motor stopped working after a year, he sent one of his guys to buy us a new motor and get it installed without charging us for it. We were absolutely impressed with the way this company takes care of their clients and does not give up until the customer is 100% satisfied. Last month, we contacted Roland asking if he could do a small job for us; we wanted artificial turf installed on the small strip of dirt on the other side of our driveway, and even though the job was super small, Roland agreed to take the job. We had gotten another estimate from someone else and Roland's quote was far more reasonable. He sent his guys and they got the job done in two days. Overall, we are impressed with the quality of work, the very reasonable pricing, and integrity of standing behind their work. While landscaping companies are a dime a dozen, good ones are hard to find. Roland and his team at Newland Landscape are pure gold.

They were also able to make quick adjustments when our neighbor had some concerns with the hedges we wanted to plant. The scope of the work included adding a concrete pad, extending our concrete patio, planting privacy hedges with drainage and auto watering system, installing artificial grass with paver walkways, and adding pebbles along the exterior wall of our house. Since we have a soft watering system, we also had them install a separate line from the main. Overall, Caliscapes OC was professional, friendly, and accommodating. I found this after they left. I called the owner Scott and asked him to help clean it off our brick entry. He said he'd talk to his people, but never called back. I called him again a week later and he now wanted me to send him a photo. This was particularly odd as it doesn't really matter if he looked at a picture. I sent him the photo, and again I got no phone call back. I got no promise that anyone was going to come out to clean it. Nothing! This is sad. His communication skills don't seem to be in evidence. He doesn't take care to make sure his employees do things correctly. Even I know you don't lay a chain saw on concrete or bricks without something to catch the dripping oil.

To be honest, it really restored my faith in landscaping contractors. I submitted an online request for a quote and the next day Mike emailed me requesting pictures of what our project wanted to include. Originally we just wanted to pull out our front yard plants and redo just the front but there is a $5000 project minimum. After deciding to redo our turf and also include our backyard, Mike came out the next week for a free in person consultation and got me a detailed quote within 2 days. The turnaround time for everything was just amazing, I've never seen anything like it. Our lot is about 3615 sq ft to give a reference point. Our project included: all the labor to demolish/uproot all of our plants including a very large 20 year old tree in the backyard + all the roots (completed in 2-3 days), redid our front and backyard turf (completed in 2 days by Backyard Golf Company), added a veneer stone and cap on our retaining wall (1 week) and replanted all our plants/installed a drip sprinkler system/installed lighting front and backyard (1 week). We have an HOA and Mike had a complete detailed plan and diagram ready for us within 3-5 days. Once HOA got back to us, the project was started within a week and finished in the estimated time frame. Workers came promptly at 8 AM and they were actively working all day not just sitting around. Very respectful, even blowing all the dust at the end of the day to keep the area clean, no garbage left anywhere. The entire project was $30,000 and there weren't any surprise or unexpected costs. Invoices are sent every week on a reasonable schedule and I just loved our experience. I'd recommend Seabreeze to anyone wanting to do their hardscape landscaping in a heartbeat!
