Over a year ago Tommy and his right hand man, Luis, helped me upgrade and convert a run of the mill 2003 Winnebago into an awesome custom rv! Tommy had great ideas and the finish product has been incredible. They installed a solar panel along with all the bells and whistles, vinyl flooring, fantastic vents and a new sofa with side cabinets. I am very happy with their work and the time they take to explain everything. In the last year, I took the rv back to Tommy's twice for repairs related to a tire blow out and a mishap. Wow I am so impressed. I have to start out by saying I haven't actually had work done here yet but they came highly recommended by multiple people who have. I recently purchased a trailer and took my small SUV in to have the hitch installed. I purchased the correct hitch that the hitch company said would be the right one for my trailer and car. But when I took it in today to get it installed they looked at my car and explained that although it's the right fit, my car is not made to pull that much weight and it could cause damage to my car and be very difficult to pull. They could have easily installed this and made money with the installation and all new electric brakes that I was planning to get, but instead they were honest and had my best interest in mind. I will definitely still be bringing my trailer in for other work and would recommend them to anybody that's looking for someone trustworthy. read more

A good place to stay away from. I will never forget they changed out my refrigerator cooling unit I ordered it from a place called Pines in the Midwest when I checked about who they were Pines I got two separate shops that said we order our cooling units from them and have for years well Tommy's did not install it correctly it burned out and under 6 months all I got from Tommy was denial and a serviceman lewis-moore denial if you've got some kind of vintage trailer and a lot of money sure maybe this is the place. But if you've got something very technical there are more reputable shops. If you need a new cooling unit for a slightly older frigerator go to rvcool find in Riverside yep it's a long trip but they knocked these things out all day long it's all they do adri did the job in 4 and 1/2 hours Tommy did it in 12rs$$$$ I could have bought a nice used car for that price. read more

They are phenomenal and ALWAYS take incredible care of each and every one of their customers. In addition to my previous review. The nightmare continues. Now my new refrigerator cooling unit has died. This unit was made by Pines, they make hundreds of them and have made them for years. A known company in the Rv world. But I'm sure if I could get a hold of Tommy or Luis, or anybody at Tommy's custom Coach Works, the first thing I would get is denial of any responsibility. (as in the past)see previous reviews). Now Tommy's keeps a face book page and prefers that you write your review there, because if he does not like it, he can delete it. On Yelp (as difficult as it has become to use, (nope I don't like Yelp either). business owners can't touch your review. So after only 5 months or less my cooling unit has sprung a leak. I know this because it's colder in my Rv than in the frig. And there is the bright yellow residue all around the pilot area. I am beside myself with incredible dismay and disbelief! I thought this new cooling unit might last a few years when it should last ten years or more. But no one makes a product this inferior... no one. So it leads me to wonder about the installation ? How can this be. I was told some modifications had to be made to line up the old with the new, but this is ridiculous. I think the positive reviews for Tommy's are friends or people with thousands of dollars at their disposal. I spent between $3,400 and $4,000 dollars on this job at least $3,200 at least went to Tommy's for labor and installation. I have come to find out other shops quoted me 4 to maybe six hours labor. Tommy's and Luis came in at 12 hours of labor at (in my previous review I was giving them the benefit of the doubt) At $130/hour !!!!! OMG! do not go there. nightmare and if anything turns out wrong, it's not their fault. Such as my heater not working as they messed with the electrical system/circuit that the ac and heater are on. read more

Over the years I've had Tommy and Luis do work on my vintage 1964 Boles Aero trailer. Every time expectations were exceeded. New refrigerator, complete new gas systems and the latest solar system, batteries and electrical updates. We tend to camp for weeks at a time and I love leaving the generator at home. I took my 2005 Pleasureway Class B van to Tommy to see if I could get the TV upgraded to digital. My old analog tv wasn't doing the job. Tommy and Luis did a fanatastic job. Their craftsmanship is outstanding. Tommy was very accurate in predicting the labor time and he finished it very quickly. Both Tommy and Luis are rightfully proud of the level of work.
