Oh my goodness, you guys! i am literally blown away. I don't normally gravitate towards filipino food, but this brand new spot just completely stole my heart! The food is absolutely amazing and so comforting--you can honestly feel the love and warmth straight in your soul with every single bite. The staff here is incredibly sweet! As soon as we walked in, she offered us mini samples and let us try everything. Honestly, because i tried everything, i wanted *everything*! Thankfully, my husband and my mother were with me, so we did a total family-style potluck vibe and ordered a little bit of everything. every single dish was a 10/10, and we left 100% happy and satisfied. This place easily just made it into my top five favorite restaurants in the entire Quad City area. Saw this cute little Filipino place in Prescott. So glad we stopped and tried this quaint turo-turo shop. Food is fresh. If you like coconut milk, the Bicol Express is a must try, not too spicy with a hint of "curriness". Eating partner loved the dinuguan stew. We both love the pancit, seasoned just right and not too soggy. Also love their pandan cassava cake, even more perfect with coffee (not sure if they offer?). OMG!!! This place is absolutely amazing! We had friends over and ordered the lumpia, pancit, adobo, care care, sweet and sour chicken, Bicol express and chicken caldareta. All portions were well worth the price and so fresh! This place will definitely be a regular in our rotation! read more

Initially I stopped as it was something new. I went in less than an hour before closing (they close at 8 pm that night). The woman at the counter was initially pleasant but when I asked a few questions she was clearly put off by the fact I said I didn't care for chop Suey. She literally threw up her arm and walked away. That was rather off putting. Another pleasant lady then took over and answered my questions. She kept offering samples to try. I tried a couple different dishes which were good. I got the Kare-Kare. It was good, but I wouldn't order it again. There are some other dishes I will try if I go again. I'm not going to rush back, but it was o-k. My dinner for a bowl and three lumpia pieces were around $18 before tip. read more

I went to Luizas based on a recommendation from a friend. I was looking to have food prepared for a surprise birthday party I was having for my wife. Luiza gave me samples of all the items on their menu that I might be interested in serving. They even prepared samples that weren't already made. In all, we ordered 11 different items. Luiza said that the food would be ready for pickup at 10:30 AM since our party was set for noon. Our friends who picked up the food said everything was ready for them when they arrived at 10:30. All the trays were laid out on the tables and were labeled. Luiza even made a delicious cake for my wife as a special gift. Needless to say, the food was a hit with our friends. We had numerous compliments and everyone asked where we got the food since most of the guests had never been to Luiza's. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to have half of the items since most of the food was gone by the time I got around to eating. That's an indication on how much people liked the food. Give Luiza's a try if you haven't already done so. You won't regret it. read more
