I am not sure what all the bad reviews are for. I was hesitant to try it out because of the bad reviews, but I am glad I gave this place a chance. I made a reservation for a group of 9 and as soon as we walked in, we got seated right away to our table that was reserved. I really loved the decor inside. There is plenty of free parking around the area and in front of the restaurant. The girls were amazing and friendly. They thought about what we will need ahead of time like extra plates, bowls and brought those out. I got a Thai tea and I like it a bit more strong, but it was still good. I also got a pad see ewe and I loved that it was extra saucy because in some places it is very dry. The coconut soup was delicious as well. Everyone in the group loved their dish. I will definitely come back when in the area.

There's a lot of great things about this restaurant! Pros: Open straight through the afternoon and doesn't randomly close for a few hours between lunch and dinner Great interior decoration Cool outdoor patio I loved the little salad included with the meal with a choice of dressing Pad Thai with tofu was delicious A few cons: Service seemed slightly disinterested Spicy Basil portion was small The dressing (ginger) on my salad was mostly soy and seemed really salty Slow to check out Overall, I would go back but prefer Mai Thai on Main for food quality and friendly service, even though their atmosphere isn't as decorative and their hours are shorter.

Ok we decided we'd try. Very happy we did. The place is clean and bright and lots of seating. The service was great. Let's get down to the food. To start the pot stickers. Steamed to perfection and their dipping sauce was super tasty. Ask for the chili sauce as it's a great addition. I had the green curry. Level three. I wasn't disappointed at all. Fresh veggies and great blend of spices. My friend had the fried rice and wow it was yummy. Both came with salad and we got the peanut sauce and I could've drank it. It was very good. For desert the coconut ice cream and the fried banana bites. Don't skip desert. I'll be back.

Green curry was the best I've had in the area, you can tell that the people cooking it are Thai- I've spent a lot of time in Thailand and this is the most authentic Thai food I have tried in the Sedona/ Cottonwood area. The Thai tea was on point and they offered a coconut vegan version. Authentic friendly servers. I highly recommend.

Food was excellent service was great nice and clean. Would say this a place I will come back to often.

Note, this is one of those places that will charge you $2-$3 just for using a credit card. I was here with my family of 4 and our bill came out to a total of $79.27 including tax and tip so expect to pay $19-$20 per person. Each entree comes with a small salad in which you can choose peanut butter sauce or ginger dressing. I had a curry fried rice which didn't really resonate with me but was of fairly average quality. There's enough food that 2 people in our group had to box since they couldn't finish it all.

Everything is always so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared homemade with love. Our server Karina is the best! She's always so happy, sweet, and attentive. You can tell the whole team there really cares because everyone is friendly and provides great service. Some of our favorite starters are the fresh rolls, vegetarian rolls and chicken dumplings. The Thai style orange chicken and ramen as well as any of the curry dishes are all great picks for entrees. Highly recommend Mai Thai on Main, we love it here!

Oh my what happened to this restaurant Mai Thai on Main?…read more We used to love to come here but will NEVER return!! Consider other options for Thai in Cottonwood or Sedona. saving your dollars and choose another Thai restaurant, this was an awful experience! First let me start with the ambience the atmosphere absolutely unwelcoming so don't believe their website generous portions of curry is false advertising and another disappointment. We had a small bowl served to us on a larger plate of the Massaman Curry with chicken. and an order of shrimp rolls. I did not order off the lunch menu. Next this person by the name of "Lucas" (I asked him his name that's how I know) definitely shouldn't be doing the job as a server, (a better position would be in the kitchen washing dishes with no face-to-face contact with customers), might have given him a pass thinking it was having a bad day but not so. We were the second table in the restaurant at 1:30 and what I witnessed was unacceptable! Hardly anyone in the place and we should have known and gotten up and left then. This Lucas person posing as a server had an attitude with a grudge or something. When we finally got our food delivered 25 min later by a Kitchen worker (not our server) we got these fried vegetarian egg rolls when we ordered shrimp rolls. When I finally flagged him down to let him know, (he was sitting at the bar watching TV) I was told oh I must've hit the wrong button did you want me to order you those shrimp rolls...? Duh! No manager on site was told they don't have a manager just an owner. Sheesh he was sitting at the bar. ( sidenote Lucas should be retrained or replaced, No exceptions) Restaurant shame on them... Additionally a fee of 3% is charged if you use your credit card they want cash only. I understand that most places are doing this now but was never disclosed anyway. I could go on but will not. Since I'm enjoying my own home-cooked Thai meal. Do yourselves a favor, save your dollars or spend it with someone more appreciative and with those who enjoy their job, have a little pride, and more importantly respect the customers that come in to spend their money. Stay away from this place unless you like being treated poorly, can choke down some crappy food and like paying extra for smaller portions. Left frustrated, unfulfilled, and Mad I wasted mine and my friends time ... Boo to you, "Mai Thai on main" ...

The restaurant graciously reserved the entire dining room for our gathering, creating a welcoming space for family to come together, share memories, and celebrate her life over a fabulous meal. With only two cooks in the kitchen, the team did an exceptional job serving a group of our size. Everyone had different orders, yet food and drinks arrived promptly and smoothly. We were welcomed with spring rolls, salads, and beverages, and the staff remained attentive, efficient, and genuinely hospitable throughout the afternoon. The food was outstanding! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared exactly as requested. I enjoyed the green curry, while others at our table ordered beef pho, crispy tofu pad see ew, and pork fried rice. We each selected our preferred spice levels, and every dish delivered exactly the right amount of heat and flavor. There were generous portions and perfect for sharing. What impressed me even more was watching the staff handle the steady flow of local customers who arrived during our private event. They kindly explained that there would be a longer wait because of our gathering, and each interaction was handled with warmth and professionalism. As we finished our meal, packed leftovers, took family photos, and said our goodbyes, those same locals began returning to be seated. To me, that speaks volumes. A restaurant does not build that kind of loyal following unless it consistently delivers great food and exceptional service. If you are looking for a place where you are treated like family, served delicious food, and welcomed with genuine hospitality, Chais Thai is that place. It has certainly become one of ours, and we look forward to returning when we return to Prescott.

The large tom yum soup didn't taste like what I'm used to eating at other Thai restaurants. I loved all the veggies and chicken inside the soup; however, the actual flavors for tom yum soup were not there: 2/5. I would not get this again. Plus, it just came in a bowl and not the usual large soup apparatus that it comes in with a gel candle on bottom to keep it hot the whole time. My friend got the pineapple curry, and it looked and tasted too watered down. I wouldn't order that again. I tried the beef satay, and that wasn't that great either. The quality of meat was lacking. It wasn't that tender, and it didn't have char on it. I don't think it was grilled at all. The meat looked like it was Mongolian beef from a fast food Chinese place. The peanut sauce was okay. The pickled cucumber and onion on the side were too sweet. The rice was soft and nice to eat. Their veggie eggrolls were delicious. Good size, nice crisp, tasty filling. Great appetizer: 5/5.
