Only real pad Thai I've had in town and it's consistent. Dara, pato, and swaddee (all the other Thai places in flag) are always hit or miss.

Needed a dinner with some vegetables in it after a long day on the road. Asia Station was well regarded, so we gave it a try. Top marks! Busting, friendly vibe, lots of families, students, people on date night. Service was attentive and congenial. The BF went for a veggie chow mein with extra veggies, and I thought I ordered the drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao) with chicken and extra veggies too. Ended up with Pad See Ew but it was so delicious that I didn't care. Word to the wise: they really don't hold back on the spice! They say that 10 is "Thai Spice" level and 2 is medium . The BF spends half his time in Issan province in NE Thailand, where the Issan Salad is too hot for many Thai people, and he travels around Thailand too. He orders Thai spice there and can totally handle it. So after much discussion with the server, he went with 7, and I went with 4. The 7 absolutely defeated him. He had to leave everything but the veggies and then order plain white rice to soothe the palate. The 4 was plenty hot enough even for him. It was right at the edge of my comfort level. But the flavors were soooo good. Perfect blend of salty, sweet basil, a little tart lime-ness, and deep umami from fish sauce in my noodles. Couldn't taste the BF's, I could only taste fire. But the staff was so nice and they laughed so good-naturedly at my BF's spice suffering, I really can't dock them for the fiery noodles. Prices were reasonable, portions were ample. Edit: owner responded to my post by saying my food allergy is ridiculous. Food allergies are serious medical conditions, not a choice. If you plan on eating here and have some restrictions just know this is how they will treat you. if i could give this restaurant 0 stars i would. upon arrival the entire place smelled like sewage, really off putting when you are going to eat somewhere. not to mention the table was sticky and as im receiving my food a cockroach comes running from under the table! the owner refused to give me a refund as i was no longer interested in eating there. seems as though the owner is a huge problem and is going to make this business lose a lot of money. there's a reason why everyone made a face when i mentioned where my friend and i were going to eat. will never return and hopefully this place goes under! really disappointing. this owner needs to learn his lesson. this place has a bad rep in flagstaff and it's clear as to why. he should be embarrassed. read more

Going through the menu and trying different entrees, and we order them with 'medium' spice, which is perfect!! I order tofu as my protein, and Evan always asks if I'd like it steamed or fried. Most restaurants don't give me the option, so I like that. The soup that comes with the lunches is always hot, and we get a choice of spring or summer rolls. Worth the wait! This amazing hole-in-the-wall was jam-packed on 12/27. This small, very tight restaurant has friendly staff and good food. Mixed feelings about this spot. The ownership is nice and the service is good. Plenty of space and relaxed atmosphere. I was disappointed in some of the entrees. The Tonkatsu was cooked to long, the meat was not tender it had a rubbery texture. The orange chicken had a reheated texture as well. Funny enough the taste was fine. Now when it comes to the Pho and Duck noodle soup they nailed it. These 2 items where prepared incredible well, the was perfect. This is why I am torn on the score. This spot has always been packed with a wait every time we've stopped in even on weekdays! It makes sense as the food in our double digit visits has never disappointed... the staff is amazing shoutout to Kampy, Jaz, & Evan!
