Good place to get drinks of all sorts. Here, service was friendly, the drinks came out fast, overall, my friend and I decided that the coffee here is better than their matcha. I will come back.

My husband and I were visiting Seattle from San Diego and I was in dire need of a matcha, I had looked online but a lot of cafe's weren't open just yet, but when I saw Lula Coffee and noticed that they had a parking lot I was sold. Our rental company lent us a huge Dodge Ram Longhorn and have been a little weary with parking in Downtown Seattle so I was so grateful that Lula Coffee not only has a drive thru, a huge parking lot and open before 10 am. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the nicest baristas and the most girly pop aesthetically pleasing cafe. The decor was so fun and whimsical and I wish I can stay there forever. Their menu reads off deliciously and I ended up choosing the White Pistachio Matcha which the barista mentioned was her favorite, my husband Bryan chose the Oh She Rich Rich, which is a spicy chai latte with dark chocolate. We also ordered food, I chose the sausage omelet Tosti, while Bry got the bacon omelet. It was a pretty cold morning so these breakfast sandwiches warmed us right up and they were really tasty. My matcha was perfect, not overly sweet and you can definitely taste the pistachio, it gave me the energy I needed for the day. My husband also really liked his chai and pairing between the chocolate and spices from the tea. I will be thinking of this matcha for a while and hope I can try them out again when we're back in Seattle! Thank you so much for your kindness!

Such a pretty coffee shop. I wished I had more time to sit and chill. Coffee was great - I did pick up an Apple fritter, my favorite. And I was not wowed. It's definitely not a King Donut fritter. It was more doughy than apple - ish. I'll try something else next time - Americano was good. Service was present and welcoming.

I've been wanting to try out this cafe for the longest! Not only is the interior cutely decorated, but the drinks are also a plus! I got the Bitch Better Have My Matcha with oat milk substitute which is basically strawberry matcha. It was on the sweeter side, so if that's not something you'd like I would not recommend. Our server was extremely helpful. We all got similar drink with very similar adjustments, so thank you to them for being so accommodating!

Such a cute cafe! Great for remote work/studying. Love the location there's ample about of parking and they also have a drive thru - great for on the go for anyone coming or leaving Seattle. The pink dreamy theme is nice though I wish the seating situation was a little better with some lower tables and more comfortable chairs. The menu items have such unique names and is filled with endless options whether you're looking for coffee, matcha, smoothies, or energy drinks. I got the "Don't huck with me" energy drink and everything listed on the drink you could taste in every sip! Bonus points for the drink also being pink! I did find it odd they allowed someone to sleep on their couch while there were people in the cafe studying/working/chatting, it felt a bit weird to have to sit around someone snoring loud. Definitely a one off-ish situation. Will be coming back to try other menu items. Do check it out !!

Lula had been on my list for awhile and I'm glad I finally checked it out! What I love about this place ESPECIALLY in Seattle is that they have a parking lot! I ordered the pumpkin white chocolate mocha which is seasonal and i liked it. Had a good flavor! It was a bit too sweet so asked for more milk to balance it out. It did cost $8 almost $9 which honestly is a lot. I think I've gone to other coffee shops and at least paid $6. It is also a great place to do work although their plugs weren't working and couldn't charge my laptop. Overall good coffee shops

If you want an instagram worthy cafe to visit, Lula is your place! It had the perfect pinky and dreamy aesthetic with plenty of tables (to chat, do some work) OR take lots and lots of photos inside!! They had a decent sized menu but we went with their white pistachio matcha and strawberry matcha frappe. Both were personally a little sweet and didn't have as strong as a matcha taste as I would like. However, they're both fun drinks to get once in a while and to sip over some long conversations. I would get them both again!! Although, I'm curious to try their other drinks too! Their service was out the door awesome and I'll definitely be visiting quite frequently whenever I'm in the area!

Cutest spot for coffee dining in or to go, they even have a drive through! The parking lot is kinda tight, but huge props that parking is free. I got the Iced Pistachio Matcha latte, which was very rich and decadent! I love matcha but I kind of felt like the pistachio was overwhelming, still good and worth a try! Service was nice, they definitely prioritize the drive through so we had to wait a while before they took our order inside at the counter, but I would love to come back with a friend for coffee or bring my laptop to work!

Its been on my list to visit Lula for a long time and i finally had the chance to try them out on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the Honey Drip. Flavorfully sugary but the macademia nut was the bold taste in the drink. Costed me $6.50 for a 16oz. Since it was around 2 pm, there was not much of a line inside and was more of a line at the drive thru. Ordering was quick and easy. Got my order back in literally a minute because as I was paying and taking my order, another barista was quickly getting my order done. Super quiet which was perfect for the people around me working. I love the pink aesthetic in the cafe! Overall, will come back again when im in the area.

I work between CID and SoDo and wanted a mocha. Since Starbucks, Tully's & Specialty's closed in the plaza nearby, there are few places to walk to for coffee. As such, i drove to Lula Coffee, which is located at the old Tully's spot next to the Rainier Brewery. I ordered the decaf Livin La Vida Mocha with espresso, chocolate and hot honey. I thought the hot honey would be a bit of sugar overkill, but it made for a smooth coffee drink - neither bitter or acidic, just smooth. It's a mile from my office, easy to get to and they have a parking lot. Service was friendly and prompt. I went early afternoon and there was ample seating to hang out.

I stopped by here to get some breakfast before deciding what to do for the day. The pink decor caught my eye. The baristas welcome you as you step inside. I asked them what they recommend. The drink names are interesting. Take a peek at their menu. I was more in the mood for tea, so I went with the Sodo Fog. The drink has white chocolate, Earl Grey, and almond. She also recommended the white peach raspberry green tea. I also got a breakfast sandwich because I was getting hungry. The drinks were good and the sandwich was filling. This is a cute place where you can get some work done. The music isn't too loud and there are plenty of stools, chairs, and a sofa available.

A MUST experience. I tried really hard not to look like a silly fan girl upon entering. I've been wanting to come here for months. Super cute cafe with great coffee options. No good food options in my opinion. Service was great. We stood looking at the menu for a bit before making up our minds. Coffee was good, better than Starbucks in my opinion. I think the cafe is super cute and lots of cute things to look at. this would be a great place to meet up for a meeting with friends or a pit stop before heading to Downtown Seattle. I recommend trying this place out. You will not regret it.

Exterior, also has a drive through (11/19/23)

They currently offer Matcha, Hoji-Tea, Kuro-Goma (black sesame), and Yuzu (Japanese citrus). The shop itself is very small since it's basically a window shop, either renting space from or connected to Tamari Bar. It's more like a little dessert stand located on the restaurant's patio area, with only a few outdoor tables available. The soft serve was okay, but not as creamy as I was hoping for, and it melted pretty quickly. If you decide to add a syrup flavor, I'd recommend asking for only a small amount. Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.

The staff is great. I had a few questions because I couldn't decide what to order, and everyone was friendly and helpful - I was even able to add corn flakes to my matcha soft serve (which isn't listed on the menu), so it was nice to know I could customize it to my liking! The matcha tiramisu was the best I've had, and the hojicha latte with oat milk was just right. The flavor was nice and strong without being overpowering. Everything I had here truly stood out! I liked the variety on the menu and all of the different options. - it's extensive and you could find anything for everyone. It's one of the more memorable matcha spots I've been to, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Seattle. If you love matcha like I do, definitely add this place to your list. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thankfully they are open today on the Fourth of July (they will just close a little earlier for the holiday), and I was happy to see that not much has changed since my last visit. Without even realizing it, I ended up ordering the exact same drink I got the first time: a Matcha Float with mochi. I guess you really can't go wrong with it because it's still just as creamy and satisfying as I remembered. The only tiny downside is that it only comes with three small mochi balls, so for almost $9 I wish there were a few more. However, the quality of the matcha is consistently excellent, sooo I don't regret coming back. They have wonderful customer service too! The employee helping me at the register was incredibly patient while I stood there trying to decide what to order. As an awkward introvert, I always feel a little flustered when ordering, but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She asked my sweetness preference for the Matcha Float, whether I wanted to dine in or take everything to go, and even carefully packed up my yuzu green tea packet with the rest of my order. She was very kind and thoughtful so just wanna say I really appreciate how welcoming she was. Even from my last Seattle visit two years ago, I still remember the employees being helpful and friendly here. I also have to recommend their desserts from my previous visit. (I skipped the sweets this time due to my budget but I still suggest picking up some of their sweets!). The Matcha Basque Cheesecake and the Matcha Tiramisu were both absolutely delicious, and I still remember how amazing they tasted even two years later. The tiramisu is only around $7 and is definitely worth trying if you're a matcha lover. This visit, I picked up their yuzu green tea packet to take home (last time, I got the hojicha). Each packet contains 15 individual tea bags and costs about $10 (not bad for how much tea is in each tea bag). They also sell matcha powder and other tea goodies. I'm looking forward to brewing the yuzu green tea at home since a good cup of hot tea is always comforting, especially when I'm sick (I've been recovering from a cold so tea has been a lifesaver to warm me up!). I actually stopped by for lunch since I didn't eat breakfast, and ordered the Sukiyaki Don (it was much more satisfying than I expected). I was craving a beef bowl and Nana's was one of the few places in the area within walking distance from my work, that was actually open for the holiday today, lucky me! It came with miso soup and a soft-boiled egg, and I was pleasantly surprised to find tofu and mushrooms in the bowl alongside the beef. It left me FULL, my tummy happy, heck yeah. Costs almost $20 but worth satisfying a craving. I won't lie.. I somehow managed to spend about $40 today between my meal, drink, and tea to take home. More than I intended to spend but no regrets, because everything was delicious and the quality has remained consistently high over the years. The only thing that made my visit a little uncomfortable wasn't the café itself. There were quite a few homeless individuals lingering around the front of the building, so I decided against dining out front like I had originally planned since I wanted to enjoy the nice weather, but one of them was panhandling me so I promptly left (thankfully I asked for my order to be packaged for takeout). That's obviously outside of the café's control, and it didn't affect the food or service at all. They still had many seats available inside but probably because it's the holiday. If I recall, the place was packed during the afternoon when I last visited on a weekday. I will still say that Nana's Green Tea continues to be one of my favorite matcha spots whenever I'm in Seattle. Between the consistently high-quality matcha, delicious meals and desserts, excellent selection of teas to bring home, and genuinely exemplary customer service, it's a place I'll happily keep returning to whenever I'm back in town and have the time to visit.
