    Strawberry-Matcha Swirl (To-Go)

I would stop by this place all the time if parking were easier. The swirl soft serve is amazing. They have a vegan option that I love even as a non-vegan. They have curly fries that come out crisp. And I really love their selection of chicken sandwiches. I ordered the Homer and another sandwich to To Go. Both were really good the fried chicken were amazing. Service is great and friendly. It's an easy-going sit down vibe. It doesn't feel like people get settled there; it's more like you eat and get going.

After hearing about Milk Drunk from several people in the last few weeks, we are so glad we checked this place out! It 100% lives up to the hype- amazing double fried chicken sandwiches and even more amazing ice cream! I love the different variations of chicken sandwiches they have. We tried the original which had their delicious herbaceous green sauce/aioli and the Homer which tasted so fresh with the veggies and whipped garlic sauce that accompany the fried chicken. The curly fries are a must if you're here & looking for a savory snack. The ice cream is a must, too! We particularly loved the seasonal miso caramel and wish it wasn't only seasonal. There was a line out the door when we went on a weeknight, so I imagine a line is to be expected when you come by, but it moves very quickly as you order at the counter. You'll wait for the ice cream at the counter but if dining in, they'll bring the food when it's ready. I personally didn't mind having dessert first! There's some indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Super casual vibes. Service is pretty quick overall. And we love the convenience that it's right by the light rail station.

The most elite combo: chicken sandwiches and soft serve. Thank goodness this place exists. It's the perfect two in one stop and fulfills all the cravings. My only complaint is that it's so popular and the lines are so long it's more efficient to order your ice cream and sandwich together. But you gotta eat your ice cream first otherwise it'll melt! I appreciate having the human interaction with the cashier but a tablet system would be faster in this case I fear. We waited in line for 10min and it was about the same for our sandwiches to come out. The ice cream we were handed right away. 10/10 for the ice cream, no notes. I got the matcha and strawberry swirl with a hard chocolate shell on top. The homer sandwich was tasty and had a good spice to it - wish there was more sauce or mayo. The chicken was juicy but the bun and everything else felt dry and needed some sauce. There's some seating inside and also outdoor seating which is perfect on a summer day. I definitely would recommend but for the wait time it does deter my decision of choosing this in future so come here when you have the time!

Decided to come here to try the chicken sandwiches. Unfortunately the best thing I had was the curly fries, which were actually pretty dang good! I would come back for those. I got the original chicken sandwich. The slaw dressing seemed a little runny and made the whole thing a little soggy. Something about the flavor profile didn't have a distinct personality, and felt a little all over the place. I usually love a kale salad, but the kale salad here didn't have a lot of flavor either. The leaves were cut way too big (or maybe not even cut at all) which made it difficult to eat as well.

We arrived a little after 5pm on a Tuesday. It's a counter service and can get very busy. We were lucky as the line to order was short, only a few parties ahead of us Two in our party ordered main course of General Tsai chicken sandwich with a chocolate expresso shake and Chicken Tenders with a strawberry shake. The other two in our party ordered ice cream. I had a raspberry cup and my friend had matcha raspberry in a sugar cone. Our food came out quickly, drinks first followed by mains about 10 minutes later. We grabbed a table outside. Everyone enjoyed their food. Everything was flavorful, fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed my raspberry cup, great natural flavor, not too sweet. Highly recommended for soft serve ice cream and shakes made with quality ingredients.

Big side budget for a growing boy like me! Every bite was very comforting and bit the spot!

Live the dog friendly atmosphere. Dogs are welcomed inside to place your order and there is seating outside on their open air patio out front. Had their vegan seasonal banana coconut soft serve in a cup with a chocolate hard shell. So good!

Friendly staff, fast service, but the soft serve isn't for me. I couldn't taste any maltiness in the chocolate malt, though the butterscotch shell was fine. Miso caramel and banana coconut sounded amazing, but the flavors were really understated. The sandwiches sound good, so maybe better for their savories.

Came here because the review below me said they came here to eat chicken after eating chicken for dinner elsewhere. The chicken did not disappoint. Super crunchy coating, like Korean fried chicken. The Homer's sauce was super garlicky and the Nashville was almost as good as Howlin Ray's (but with no wait). Ice cream was creamy and dense. If you're ever disappointed by chicken somewhere, just come here to have your chicken shaped wounds healed.

Here's my review. I went to Milk Drunk to eat chicken RIGHT AFTER having chicken for dinner at another place. It's that good.

Milk Drunk is a staple now in the Beacon Hill area. It's a nice spot to either grab and go or find a quick spot to sit and eat your food. There is limited seating that fills up when it gets sunnier so be prepared. They have a bunch of fried chicken sandwiches and other seasonal offerings. I've tried the chicken strips before and it's been a favorite of mine with their green aioli that's very herby. Staff: Nice (5/5) Sanitation: relatively clean (4/5) Vanilla Soft Serve (5/5) The soft serve was great, it was a little creamy and the lemon poppyseed hard shell was a great addition. It was on the lighter side and tasted more like sweet lemon white chocolate. I would definitely get it again cause it wasn't too heavy.

Food - had the chicken sandwich & the strips. i like them both. the chicken is always super nice and crunchy. good size. good seasoning. the fries are also super good! you get 2 sauces on the side. i always get the whipped garlic & the aioli. i like the whipped garlic for the fries and the aioli for the strips. both are really good. service - always quick & friendly. ambiance - outdoor seating on the patio. a few tables and counter seating inside. can get pretty busy.

A wonderful spot in the Beacon Hill area! Despite the crowd, the line moved smoothly and the workers maintained a welcoming and enthusiastic attitude which made for a great experience before even getting the food! They have both inside and outside seating which allows for a decent amount of seating. They did a good job of keeping things orderly and clean. The great thing about this place is that you can get both a great chicken sandwich and soft serve ice cream in one spot! I decided to get the General chicken sandwhich which is a General Tso's inspired sandwich. It was flavored well with a great combination of sauce and other ingredients. The soft serve was good as well with all the swirls being put one expertly. There's a reason this place is popular!

    Are dogs allowed?

Hi Bianca, Thanks for reaching out! We do allow dogs on our patio and in the restaurant provided they are potty trained and well behaved. Hope you'll join us soon!…

Are you celiac and GF friendly?

Hi Helen, We do have a few GF/celiac friendly options but unfortunately we cannot guarantee 100% that there's been no cross-contamination. Most of our soft serve is gluten free except for our malted chocolate flavor and our kale salad is gluten free…

We were given a Homer gift card and we were curious if it also worked at your establishment?

Unfortunately no! They are separate businesses. Thanks for understanding!

When is the best time to go and approximately how long is the wait?

Hi Liane! It's tough to say since we've only been open a week! Saturday and Sunday are of course busier. Things seem to slow down in the 2-4pm range each day - hope that helps!…

It's hard to find something everyone agrees on but this place had a little of everything. we got there and they were in that weird in between time from end of lunch/happy hour, so the kitchen was closed. It was about a 30ish min wait but we were determined. It was a fabulously sunny day, people sitting outside so we decided to hang out and have a drink while we waited for the kitchen to open. So glad we stuck around because this place is AMAZING. The corn fritters our wonderful server recommended them and I could kiss him. They were so good. The oak salad was light and fresh, perfect for the day. Burger and fries were super hot and yummy. Lastly, the server was so great with our 2 girls. (Wish I would have gotten his name) He let them sit outside at their own little table and they chatted with the other patrons. (There was a couple with their dog sitting outside). The burger was juicy and delicious. The salads were excellent. One of the best salads I have had, unique. The marinaded chicken was grilled perfectly. The pickled vegetables were an excellent acid complement for the salad with sesame dressing. Definitely a local favorite. Enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the restaurant.
