I made a spontaneous trip here and my second lobe piercing on both ears. They were very clean and precise, which is awesome. The only downside to it is that it's expensive as hell. Absolutely amazing! I went in for a daith piercing with two of my friends, who got helix piercings, and the overall experience was great. We were all nervous to get pierced but the staff was extremely helpful and comforting. Johnny got us all situated with waivers and choosing jewelry and was so kind. We walked in, filled everything out, and were all pierced in maybe 30 minutes. They took each of us into a little room and had everything set up. It was quick, almost completely painless and was a great experience overall. Other places I've been to when I got my tragus and lobes pierced were so expensive and not worth the price but this place was so affordable. I paid $50 total for my daith piercing including jewelry and tip (piercing+jewelry was $40). My friends' helix piercings were $30 each which included jewelry! Growing up I always went to tommy t's body piercing. Last experience wasn't the best and I needed to find a new place. One of my friends recommended Lulu's. I was slightly skeptical due to it being in a mall, but I decided to give it a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two employees, super friendly, helpful, not pushy, and knew what they were talking about. I went to get my nose done and also a double helix. They had the exact jewelry I had in mind and much more! After picking everything out I waited just a few minutes for 2 other people to get pierced. The woman who pierced me was so sweet, talked to me the entire time and was just a genuine good person. After I was done, went out and paid and got my after care. i didn't even get pierced, but i want to tell a story. so seeing reviews i decided this was the place i was gonna go to get a belly piercing. i booked an appointment online and arrived right on time. when i walked in i only saw 2 people; a girl working and a guy who got pierced. i stood there waiting for them to finish for a while until she finally asked me what i was there for. i said i had an appointment for a belly piercing and she said great yeah ok we can do that. i sat down and waited since she was still helping the guy. i looked down on my phone for a while and only looked up when i heard 2 girls walk in. all of a sudden there was another worker, a male. he was helping them out and the og girl that i saw disappeared so i thought she was in the back setting up. a while later she comes back, but goes straight to the 2 girls and the man working. she ends up taking over for the man and he goes away. at this point im not too annoyed, just wondering when i was gonna get pierced. all of a sudden ANOTHER girl worker comes out and im assuming shes the one thats gonna pierce me since the og girl was still helping out the 2 customers. the guy worker leaves, a while passes and i hear them whisper "shes sitting" (i was the only one sitting) multiple times and so i think theyre finally gonna help me. the og girl then asks me "has anyone helped you?" LIKE OBVIOUSLY NOT SO IM LIKE "no." and shes like im so sorry :(( let me help you over here, and brings me to the other side where the belly rings are. i then tell her im trying to buy the least expensive thing and shes like ok yeah let me get my ipad to show u the prices! im like ok and she comes back and tells me that the only person who pierces belly buttons had a family emergency and no one can do it for me. i was enraged. i literally saw him before he left helping the girls and when he left the 2 worker girls were like "bye see u later!". like family emergency MY ASS LMFAOOOO anyways i was like "oh ok" but she was quick w it and asked me what jewelry i was interested in so she could let me know the price for next time when we reschedule. im just trying to be quick but also nice and pick a random one and shes like so when are you free and i pick a random time so i could leave bc how awkward if i just left. anyways yeah this is why i hate this place they pretend to be sooo friendly and like they didnt notice me even though i was the only one in there for some time AND had an appointment . read more

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their customer service was off the charts! They were both quite knowledegable and the change out was simple and quick. This is the best piercing place ever!! I was nervous about getting my nose done. While I was in the back the male(I forgot his name but, he had tattoos) made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He kept my mind off of the piercing. Before I knew it the job was done. That was seven months ago. I went back about a month ago because I had a bump on my nose for about 2 months( I changed the stud too early and got a cheap one) I had tried everything; tea tree oil, sea salt, soap but nothing worked. when i went back The lady was very friendly and told me that I had a keloid. I've lived by this mall for my whole life and have walked by Lulu's countless times. I never thought anything of it until I wanted to get my helix and nose pierced. I started watching piercing videos on Youtube and came across their channel. I was instantly intrigued by how fun and easy they made it look, I knew I had to go here for my piercings. I've been 4 times in the last week to get piercings (double helix, second lobes, and nose), I am obsessed with them. All of my experiences having been amazing. Gabriel pierced both my helixes and nose and Royanna pierced my lobes. Both were super friendly and made my experience easy. Lupe was very helpful in the front with helping me pick out my jewelry. Everyone is so nice and genuine, Johnny even gave my friends and me donuts because they weren't going to finish them! I can't wait to go back and get more piercings!! :) read more

I will at least say that the one guy who was helping me with jewelry behind the counter was friendly enough and made me feel comfortable. The rest of the employees made it seem like an unprofessional operation. The others were not friendly at all, and hid in the back room. Like a young bunch of kids with no customer service skills. I picked out a pair of double flared plugs. The piercer then stretched my ears with a taper and put the plugs in. I have never had someone work on me whether it was a hair stylist, dentist, or piercer, etc. who was so unfriendly. I'd say she wasn't in a bad mood, just not very well versed in basic handling of customers. Especially in a profession where they have such intimate contact with people. Anyway, I believe she needed to take more time with the taper. It was a significant stretch and it hurt worse than any time I can remember in the past. She had difficulty getting the plugs in with her lubed up gloves, and she made a pretty wet lube mess on my ears. Then after they were in, and she sort of wiped them off, she said to keep checking them constantly to make sure they didn't fall out. How long was I supposed to do this ridiculous "constant" checking my ears to make sure my plugs were still there?! I don't think this girl had much experience. Besides, you're supposed to avoid touching new piercings and stretchings, not touch them all the time to potentially introduce bacteria. I think I recall the service was free when you purchase jewelry? Anyway just to be decent I gave her $5 which was more than she deserved. I handed it to another employee in the piercing room to give to her. When he handed it to her she did didn't even stick her head out of the doorway she was standing by to say thank you! When I left the building I shouted "thank you!" to the piercing room where the employees were gathered, and not one reply. I couldn't even believe it. To top it off, they didn't even carry a basic item like o-rings! What piercing shop doesn't have o-rings? If the owner or customer service rep is reading this, my intent with this low rating is not to be mean, it's to give a sincere bit of constructive criticism. Maybe you would appreciate knowing from a customer's perspective what goes on in your shop. The employee conduct was not the best for business and I say this as a relatively easy going and reasonable person. read more

I went in a couple of days ago to pick out a nose stud. My old nose stud is very dainty and the gauge is very small. Because I was in a rush to get a replacement, I wanted to pick something out that day at Lulu's since I was already there. I asked one of the girls working if the one I had picked out would fit the tiny hole from the smaller gauge I had on and she said yes. I hesitantly bought it anyway. About 20 minutes later on the car ride home. I decided that it would be too big and don't want to risk irritating my skin stretching out the piercing, I called back immediately and ask if I can come back right now to return the nose ring as it was still sealed inside the plastic bag, unopened. They basically said no and that once the jewellery left the store, it was not returnable. Ok, whatever - I'm sure it'll fit somehow. Came home, tried it on and NOPE - didn't fit. So disappointed with their customer service. Would not return. read more

Based on my experience getting a piercing here I definitely would not recommend it. I recently got a cartilage piercing done here and pretty much everything about the experience was bad. To begin, as soon as my friend and I got in we were completely ignored by the girls at the front counter and it was unclear if the people already standing inside were in line or waiting to go to the back for a piercing. We waited for a few minutes until someone finally asked if we needed help. Then while I was filling out the information for the piercing, there was a lack of transparency with prices for the earrings. The girl who helped me showed three different display boards with earrings to choose from for the piercing. If I hadn't asked if there was a cost difference between the earrings, I would not be aware of the stark price increase (about $150) for one pair vs another. Not to mention that prices are listed no where in the place. Finally after about an hour and a half wait I was called back only to have the piercer mess up the angle of the piercing and have to remove it and pierce my cartilage for a second time. I understand that mistakes happen, but she didn't even take responsibility and admit she'd messed up, instead she was trying to say that my ear had moved. Naturally my ear bled quite a bit and swelled after having to get it pierced again, which was very upsetting to have to go through the pain twice. And no one discussed any after care instructions. The only way I found out was by asking a lot of questions about it to get some answers. Needless to say I was very disappointed all around with my experience here and I definitely won't be returning here for another piercing. read more

5 stars for the amazing service that they provided for my friends and I when we went to get our piercings done! There were four of us total and we each got different piercings i.e nose, cartilage, lobe, etc. I didn't get the names of the workers, but there was a guy who provided us with info and pricing, basically everything we needed to know and the lady was the one who did the actual piercing. Everything was quick and easy, there wasn't even time to think about how much it would hurt because that's how quick she was! The next day I had accidentally caught my nose piercing on something and it came off halfway. I called the store and they were happy to fix it for me. They also instructed me on how to do it myself in case I was not available to drive to them. But me being new to piercings drove back and had them fix it. The same lady took me in right when I got there and gave me a new piercing, no questions asked. It was quick and just as easy. I had a horrible experience at the place I went to to get my helix pierced and trying to get advice on aftercare from the piercer and staff. After watching them for months on YouTube and their videos on Instagram, I went 2 weeks ago for my daith piercing. I was so afraid of this piercing, I heard terrible things about it, but I wanted it. I was pretty nervous to meet these people that I've been watching online for so long (kind of fangirling LOL) so that didn't help, but Johnny took me back, and pierced me. Everything is so clean. I was shocked by how much it was just pressure and so little pain! Even days after, it doesn't hurt and I'm so happy I got it done and at Lulu's. Initially I was told I wasn't allowed to have my friend back in the room with me while I got my piercing done, if i had been getting any other piercing this would have been fine but I was getting my nipples pierced and the piercer was male so I felt uncomfortable. I was visiting from New York and being a fan of their YouTube channel I decided to stop by and get my belly button Pierced. The shop is definitely clean and I love how professional and sanitary it was. When it came to the piercing itself, it was by far the most quick and painless piercing I've ever had - and I've had a lot. This is the second time I've had my belly button pierced so I was expecting more pain than the first since I was pierced through scar tissue. But the pain is non existent and I totally credit this to the skill of the piercer. The only thing that I was a little bummed over was that I wasn't told about after care or cleaning instructions and while I should've asked, this is always something the piercer has gone over in the past.
