Joslyn was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time during the piercing process by double checking that it didn't hurt. I had to purchase one of their steel titanium jewelry ($15 was the cheapest one) and was not allowed to use my own jewelry that I bought from Laughing Buddha. Which is totally understandable and makes sense as to why they don't use other jewelry outside of their own. I think it also specifies in their rules or contract that you're not allowed to bring in outside jewelry, but I would call to make sure. I also did not like that they didn't have a more comfortable waiting/seating area. Those tiny chairs on wheels are not really plus-sized friendly and I would have appreciated a regular chair instead of those. The online booking experience for an appointment within 3 days was easy to use on their website. I believe there was a $5 security deposit that goes into your overall total at the end of your piercing/tattoo session. In fact, my piercer Joslyn even emailed me to ask questions about my piercing history and whatnot. I really appreciated her attentiveness to detail and for taking the initiative to understand her customer's needs. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with my piercer Joslyn and would highly recommend her for your piercing needs. Thanks again!!

This did not include the decorative part of the earrings, only the 1/8" posts. At no time, on the day of piercing, or on the phone call, was there mention of additional fees for earrings that were too long when they were 1st placed. If you want to pay a hefty amount and your piercings to look idiotic, here's your place.

It looks like a classic, Christmassy twinkle star... or what a single light looks like in the dark when you have an astigmatism, ha. What I was recommended with my first daughter is to call before so I can ensure there were two staff members to do a double piercing. This time I made sure there was two staff members working at the same time before heading to the mall. Boy was it baby piercing day on Sunday. There were five babies before us but the wait wasn't bad at all. Kim was very patient and helpful with my daughter. She confirmed that my baby was calm enough for a double piercing. Most babies move their head back and forth so a double isn't possible. Kim also had to dot her left ear multiple times just because it was a little differently shaped than her right. We were able to successfully do a double. My daughter cried her brains out after for a little bit (as expected) but the simultaneous piercing experience was definitely better than the single ear. At least the pain was done in one punch. Loved how it turned out.

First time in the shop, funny how I was just looking on yelp for good tattoo shops and this one had the best reviews for everyone at the shop and over all. Right away I was greeted by victor. Told him we had an appt with Felix and told me he had something come up which is okay because it happens and Felix tried to find someone to fill him in since he knew he made an appointment with us and luckily Chesto was coming in to help my friend and I. Chesto was very humble and gave me an Idea what to get for my cover up. Mind you I had no clue what to get when I went. I let him do his thing and I loved the results of my cover up. So far I've gotten two tattoo's at East Broadway, both from Courtney Moore and could not be happier with how they turned out. Her skills are impressive not only in art, but hospitality too. Victor and I went back and forth for a week or so designing my tattoo. I had an idea of what I wanted and it kind of developed into the final design as we went along. He was so patient with me and I could not be happier with the end result. He's super cool and he's been an artist for a long time so he knows what he is doing. For the LB locals who are thinking of getting a tattoo and don't know where to look, I highly recommend coming here. I've been going to Courtney since 2021 and all of my pieces have come out and healed beautifully. The salon is neat and organized with either a movie, podcast, or music playing in the background. The other artists are also professional and keep their stations clean while following the rules and regulations of giving a tattoo. I don't do many reviews, but because getting a tattoo is forever, I wanted to give others some help. I've worked with Chesto multiple times and he has taken great care with all of my tattoos. I love this place. Everything about it the workers, the energy even the customers that come in are always so friendly and welcoming. You can sit there for hours just talking and talking. It's always clean and the employees are honest with their opinions on sizing/placement down to recommending a better option if something can or shouldn't be done. Great shop with talented people working there, I've been going to Aleister Gilgrim for years and is the only person I trust with tattooing me now. Great understanding of tattooing people with darker skin (which seems so rare in artists these days) and has even been able to repair multiple less than satisfactory pieces done by other artists.
