Pretty solid. I only have a couple things from this place, mostly because I don't do yoga, but my boyfriend and I love their pants for running, just lounging around the house, or for when I play volleyball. Everyone complains about how expensive their stuff is but frankly, when you wear clothes as hard as I do then you'll appreciate the value when you realize everything still looks brand new! SIDENOTE: No matter how many times I go into this store, a salesperson has to come up to me and tell me all about the item I'm looking at without fail. They don't even ask, they just start talking, even though I might already own it or might be in a hurry. I know they're trying to be helpful and polite but some people just want to get in, shop, and get out! read more

Love their yoga mats - nice and thick for people like me that have sensitive knees and heels. In addition to the mat, I bought the skidless towel - also awesome! I'm a sweater and I love that my hands aren't sliding forward while I'm in down dog. The clothes look great but I haven't been able to find something that I really like (since I'm a bit picky about my work-out clothes). As I tell everyone, Lulu is not a store. It's a lifestyle. The clothes are great, and I even get away with wearing the black yoga pants at work (shh!! don't tell!) They're comfy, well-fitting and wear well. Expensive, but you get what you pay for, trust me! Some other random things: free hemming, and this cuff for stashing your keys or money in when you work out. It's the best!! Love this place so much, I bought stock in it! read more

My complaint is not about the quality of clothes at Lululemon, if fact I'm highly obsessed with their workout pants and zip-ups. My complaint is about the staff at this location. My friend and I went here the other day and the girl helping us was not only full of herself and wouldn't stop looking in the mirror, but she was rude & completely disrespectful. The instant we walked in, she would not leave us alone even though I have been to that store multiple times, knew what I was looking for, picked out what I was looking for, and she grabbed the pair of pants out of my hands... I tried to be nice to her, however she would not lose the attitude. Nonetheless I won't go back to this location, I'll go to Lincoln Park from now on. read more

I love that lulu opened a location in Bucktown! They make the most attractive, functional workout clothes on the planet! I love that I can go from a workout at the Dailey Method, to coffee w/ a friend, to running errands and look great doing them all! :) Plus the staff at this location are great! First I need to say the staff here is amazing. Everyone I have every come across has been super helpful, very sweet, and willing to help. Also the fact they let dogs in & they have treats is a huge plus!!! Maya loves coming in with me, especially because she gets so much attention. The layout of the place is great, you can see where everything is and I imagine if an associate is busy you'd be able to find your way around. The store also looks great and there is something about it that makes me want to shop! Although the stuff is super cute, holy hell is it expensive. BUT I find it is worth it. If I buy 3 pair of old navy running pants they fall apart or lose their shape. At least with these pants, or shirts is they are made with high quality fabrics and keep their shape. fraud - lulu lemon is a fraud ***. do not buy their cheap products they are defective **** i purchased a mens swim trunks. the glue that they used came off, and because it was in my butt area i dind't notice it until i was in a very public place. my entire butt was exposed for hours. i notified lulu lemon with a certified letter and they didnt even respond. their products are defective, they refused to fix the issue or even address it. i will be leaving this honest story on every review i can beware of this fraud company read more

The following review is based purely on the service my friend and I received while at the store, not on the products. In fact, I love the products and wish I could afford more of them... Before we even entered the store, we prepared ourselves for the usual barrage of "can I help you's" and "what are you looking for's". My friend found the items she needed to try on for the upcoming 5k she is running and went to the fitting room to try them on. Other customers started filing in the fitting rooms, and my friend was quickly forgotten about. Not once was she asked if she needed another size or if she needed something else. Other customers were being grabbed items every other minute. Since she wasn't being taken care of, my friend asked the attendant for a larger size in the sports bra she needed. The attendant, not knowing I was with her, turned to another employee and MADE A FACE and rolled her eyes at the fact that she had to grab a larger size. The attendant proceeded to help other customers, never again asking my friend if she needed anything. When my friend exited the dressing room, she wasn't asked the usual "how was everything" or "can I grab you anything else?" Never once was I asked if I needed help with anything. We left the store very hurt and very angry at the lack of help and discrimination my friend received. People struggle on a daily basis with self image. We don't need to go into high end athletic stores to make ourselves feel worse about the weight we can't seem to shake or the fact that maybe we don't look like we can afford to shop there. For a company that prides themselves highly on their morals, mantras, and values, I am utterly ashamed and appalled at the way my girlfriend was treated because yeah, maybe she isn't a size 2 like everyone else. If I ever decide to spend money with this company again, I can SURELY tell you, it WILL not be at this location. Life is to short to be made to feel like anything short of beautiful. read more

I stayed away for as long as possible. But when even one of my thriftiest girlfriends raved about the way her butt looked in the pants, I thought, "the one freaking area that I don't spend a lot of money is work-out clothes. I am never stepping foot in this store." And then I had lunch with my sister-in-law. After my exchange at Marc Jacobs lasted 30 seconds, I met her there. She raved about the various types of pants but I kept my blinders on. Looking down, I spotted OMG THE CUTEST hoodie on clearance for $29. $29? That is cheaper than Target. It fit perfectly. Sigh. I am now on the slippery slope of being of a lulu girl. I tried on the Groovy pants and they've been added to my wishlist. PS. Customer service is top notch. I would expect nothing less, from a store that charges as such for casual garb. They still blew away my expectations. read more

My friend told me about all the free classes they have here. FREE! I have been going to the free stroller class on Tuesday mornings and it ROCKS! I can bring my son and they have toys and stuff to amuse him while I get a good workout. Kim, the instructor is great. She pushes you but gives modifications too. The workouts are guaranteed to get your butt lifted to pre baby proportions. She teaches a class through Bubbles academy that is awesome too, and I attend regularly, but on Tuesdays it's FREE! Great for someone who wants to check it out with no commitment. Definitely recommend that any mommies check it out and get a great workout with other kids and moms. read more

Huge fan of this store. Started shopping here in San Francisco when it opened up down the street from my apt. It opened and all of a sudden everyone in my neighborhood was in this gear. I thought what is so special. Then I went in and bought my first pair of workout pants. That was two years ago. I have beat the crap out of them. Worn them in Pilates, Spinning, Running, hanging around the house and washed them numerous times. The shape has stayed to the T what is was when I bought it, and it has a nice extra band to hold in your lower abs, very flattering. Ive been hooked ever since. Another favorite are their really long fitted zip ups. I live in those literally every weekend. and went to this store this weekend and well bought another zip up. Just great quality. Its pricey, but to last as long as it has w/o any issues, great investment! read more

Love this place. I only wish I could afford one of everything. This review is mainly for the quality of cloths and the amazing employees. I have just walked through three times now, dreaming of owning some of their $90 yoga pants, and every time I have been greeted with a smile, engaged in conversation about the area and different studio options for me, and an invite to their complimentary events on Sunday mornings at 10am. buying item on sale is the key. i don't know if i'll ever feel like i need $100 yoga pants. i like that they stay put so if you are doing tree pose, your pants aren't sliding down with your foot. they offer free hemming for pants. they also have shoes in case you wanna see how they fit with gym shoes and they hem you with that in mind. there are skirts for running. but tank tops don't look very supportive for running. there are complimentary yoga classes at the store as well. read more

Lululemon as a great product, I have been testing out workout gear since High School. I have not found a Yoga pant/running tight that was as well made and ecstatically pleasing as there pants. In yoga today I did not have my pants ride down once which is beyond awesome since in my pre-lulu days that was a common thing. I love my local damen store Ali Alley the Manager is great and very committed to making it a great store. I really hope people who did not have the experience that they hoped contacted the store first, before going online. I have worked in retail for sometime and every once in a while you catch people on a bad day. I am 5'3 and wear a size 10/12 and have never felt uncomfortable shopping here. read more

I recently went into the Lulu store off Damen, looking for the quality of leggings that I knew Lululemon ONCE had. I have had the same pair for over 3 years and they were a little run down, so it was time for a new pair. I spoke to one of the ladies who work there and I had the pleasure of meeting with Stacy. She is the manager of the store, and I had advised her that I recently bought a pair of yoga pants and they were see through! She was very apologetic, and showed me a different pair with better quality. She told me to take them home and give her feedback on the pants. I think that was a great customer service move on her behalf and she kept me as their customer because the new pants were just like my old ones that I had loved sooooooo much. It's not often people and especially businesses surprise you. I went to this store to buy some new workout pants. The person helping me was friendly and helpful. I grabbed a couple of shirts but commented how their tops never really fit me. This time they did! I explained how I had recently lost a considerable amount of weight through healthy eating and exercise. When I checked out, they rang up everything except one pair (of expensive) pants and she said they would like to give these to me as a gift for my accomplishment. I was stunned and overwhelmed! READ THIS REVIEW BC IT'S IMPORTANT: While these pants make your butt look better, the quality is not worth the money - AT ALL. After a month (even less than that), they have started to pill. I tried to take them back and exchange them for the exact same pair with my receipt and the stores wouldn't take them back. I just wanted the same pair of pants that I paid $80 for and they wouldn't do it. I even called corporate. They all said the same thing --- that it must be the way I am washing them?! What an interesting customer service tactic!! Interestingly enough, they don't come with washing instructions. Yet they are supposed to be durable workout pants made to withstand numerous workouts and washings if you work out often. But they don't. Not even maybe. I looked on their site for washing instructions. It said don't wash with COTTON (huh???), don't use fabic softener, must air dry, don't wash with towels, zippers, buttons, velco, etc. Oh, and wash on delicate. Seriously?? Why don't I just dry clean these? Washing instructions don't come in the bag at time of purchase and who would look on the website for washing instructions? If these pants are THAT fragile, then they should at least be upfront with the customer. And really, a pair of workout pants should not need this much care. I also see other women at the gym who's pants are pilling, too, and have experienced the same thing. I believe they should have a more customer-friendly approach and stand by their expensive product which lacks the quality one would expect. read more

I'm a very conscious shopper, so when I saw the price of the clothes in this store I asked if it was in pesos or some other currency. They said no, it was American Ca$h. I thought 'if I spend over $100 on running shoes, why not on running tights?!' My face must have showed all of my emotion because the sales representative (educator) asked what I was looking for. After trying on the entire store with the help of two educators, I found the perfect pair of running tights. They even altered them for my height (included in the price). I was helped by several people, but in a very kind way, not a 'must make sales' kind of way. I later returned to the store for classes and their running club. I guess you can say I am now converted into a LULU lover based on this store's service. If you're going to buy lululemon, I suggest going to this location. It is clean, huge, and has a great 'we made too much' selection. read more

This review is about rude service. I've had at least 10 pairs of lululemon yoga pants in the past and they've lasted years w no problem. Last week, I bought a pair, wore them once, and the string started coming off around the waist. I brought them back to be exchanged, figuring it was some kind of fluke. I went on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. This chick w glasses on and tattoos came to the counter. I explained what happened and she rudely told me it was not some flaw and I must have done it to the pants. Been shopping at luluLemon for years and after becoming a mom I was thrilled to learn about their free stroller strides class on Tuesdays at 9am. It's been an amazing resource to get connected to moms and ask questions about each other's little ones. I was heartbroken to learn that after 7 yrs they're stopping this amazing resource for the community. Lulu definitely caters to a certain demographic and getting these type of women in their store on a weekly basis to sweat it out amongst their latest over priced gear has to be a positive for this store. Plus it's a Tuesday at 10am, I'm sorry but the only people coming in during that time are those stay at home moms. Disappointing move they're pushing this class to the wayside and when I asked the store manager she just said 'they're going to focus on yoga'. Which clearly isn't the case because other stores have barre classes, running groups,etc. Sad move on this stores part as this stay at home mom won't be shopping in their store any longer. read more

I just had a terrible experience at this lululemon location. I went in to see what I could do about a pair of leggings that I had just purchased about 2 months ago. These leggings now had quite a few holes near the seam on the butt and upper leg area of the leggings. I went in to ask about the leggings because I know Lululemon has a quality promise. The woman who was helping me looked at the holes and said that they looked like they had been cut (I did not cut these leggings. They were brand new and I liked them a lot). Then she told me to be careful when I was wearing them and that there was nothing she could do. Well, I've jumped on the lululemon train. And, I can say with confidence that I think I do not fit their target customer profile. I'm not thin by any stretch. I do not practice yoga. Instead, I am a year-round tennis player and a fledgling runner. Because it's starting to get cold out, I need some warmer, lightweight clothes to get through my morning runs. I went there this afternoon after enjoying an eggs benedict brunch at Feast across the street. I figured that there was no time like the present to try on exercise clothes. It was a delightful surprise to try on a pair of pants and have them fit exactly like you want them to fit. Seriously, now I know why people blow $90+ on a pair of workout pants. I also found a zip-up jacket that I want. However, I practiced self-control and will wait until another time to purchase it. I found the staff to be extremely helpful. Overall, my maiden voyage to lululemon exceeded my expectations. read more

The staff here are all so friendly that I had to write a review! Many lululemon stores seem stuck up with an "I work out, do you?" Attitude but not at this location! One of the girls would discreetly provide product knowledge details but just enough, and then took a personal interest asking what we were doing for the day. Friendly service at this boutique unlike some lulu shops I've been to in the burbs. Sales are not anything special, but I like the product.
