Sadly, the selection was pretty picked over. So I went to look at New Balance, a brand I consider tried and true. A really knowledgeable salesman explained the features and benefits of four different levels of shoes. I didn't buy by price, I bought on benefit and am really happy with my selection. It's so comfortable and supportive. The salesman measured my feet and - whoops - I've been buying too small shoes for a while. Now with a comfortable expansive toe box, good arch support and a heel construction that feels wrapped around the back of my foot I am seriously happy and walking on. Thanks for the help, Stan's. He measured and looked at the arches of my feet, then brought out various shoes to try on. There is an area to run with the shoes and feel how they preform. After I selected my pair, he then showed different colors and I got a 15% discount for belonging to a gym. I will be calling for A refund. 245 for a broken dress. Not to mention the fabric of the dress was not taken into account after altering and the folded pattern is pulling away from the seams and a few stickers have already broke. Just from trying it on. It went from a bag. To this place back into a bag and then to my home where I was going to steam it (suggested by them) and tried it on to see what spots needed it. I also do not think I ever met with the seamstress once. The person altering my dress and I never spoke. I feel as though as an "expert" they should be the ones to direct you in what can and can not be fixed with a dress. I wanted the dress taken in a bit as it was falling off at the top, but now it's entirely too tight and hurts. I'm honestly dreading having to wear this all day, and the constant worry of it breaking again or even worse. The zipper also will not stay up due to how tight it is. Of course you try this ok before leaving, but you stand there and look into a mirror. Maybe I should have acted as if I was in the dance floor to test drive this before leaving. Just do not go here, save your money and your sanity.

However, my most recent experience was not good and hopefully it was a one-off. I stopped in to browse on a Saturday. I did not recognize any of the women working there (4 ladies), which is unusual because there's usually someone I'm familiar with. Anyhow, I was in the store for probably 15-20 minutes and no one greeted me, no one asked if I needed any help (even though one staff person was right beside me a few times putting clothes back on the rack). At first I was surprised and thought that I should say something to them, like "hey how are you doing" etc. However, they never stopped talking amongst the 4 of them - so much so that if I had said anything I would have felt like I was interrupting them! It was very disappointing and unusual - they didn't even take time to say have a good day or anything when I left. There was a Desigual t-shirt that I wanted to try on and purchase but I decided I wasn't going to give them my business since I had felt unwelcome and ignored. I went home and ordered online. Like I said, hopefully this was a one-off and they were all just having an off day.
