Best workout clothes ever! I never thought I would spend what I do on workout pants, but the quality and endurance of Lululemon clothing makes everything worth the value. I especially like the tops. As a "smaller" women up top, the styles are much more flattering since they're shaply and have criss-cross designs, and have padding. At full price, they're still worth it. But there are sale pieces to be had so shop often for the best deals. When pants are marked down, they're nearly the same price as Adidas or Nike pants. And they do alterations for free so things feel like they're made just for you. Awesome store! read more

I'm addicted. Those of you who are new to Lulu, are probably thinking, "this chick probably just has bucks to spend, and is just buying the logo." Well, no and, no. I literally budget for new Lulu, because nothing comes close as far as quality, fit, and fabrics. I've tried it all--Athleta, Beyond Yoga, Alo, even Gap, and it's just not the same. As a hot yoga devotee, I can't say enough about their Luon and Power Luxtreme fabrics. The worst thing to possibly happen in a hot yoga class is to be sweating profusely, and to be feeling like you're sweating profusely. Sweat lines, heavy clothing--gah, I've been there. But ever since I've gone with Lulu, and these fabrics in particular, the sweat just wicks away. Waistlines stay up. And might I add, my butt looks good. The prices are steep. But consider these clothes an investment, because you will have them for a while. And if there's a defect in something you've purchased--say the stitching comes loose, or seams are warped, you can bring it into the store, and they'll hook you up! When the stitching on my Free to Be bra was all screwy after a couple washes, they gave me a replacement--no questions asked. I was thrilled! The people at this location are always friendly and seem to enjoy what they do. The only drawback at this location is that parking is hard to come by. But if you're a Lulu fan, you're probably wearing the clothes for a good walk anyway. :) read more

I love lululemon! I know it's very expensive but once you get in these clothes, it's addicting. The luon material naturally wicks moisture and it's great for hot yoga. Everything is very meticulously engineered for each respective sport (i.e. yoga, running, cycling) and the clothes are friggin' cute! I used to shop for my luluemon stuff online but now I love going to the showroom and taking home my stuff right away. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and are usually just as excited as I am about lululemon. I love the fact that they have free Zumba and yoga classes. I haven't tried either but I did walk in on a Zumba class and everyone looked like they were having a lot of fun. My relationship with Lulu is an unlikely love story. Reading about the controversy with sheer and extremely racist founder, I avoided this establishment entirely. Enter 2015: I cannot get enough. Within these walls are flattering apparel, perfect for all my spin, yoga and fitness class needs. Free hemming means my sausage legs look perfectly proportionate and the staff is always friendly. LOVE everything at Lululemon! I could literally buy out the entire store. My only compliant is that they don't stock enough of the smaller sizes. This is La Jolla people! The reason you have so many sized 10+ things left on your shelves is because of you location. I get so bummed when I see something super cute that I want to buy only to have it sold out in my size. Otherwise, Lulu and I may be life long friends. The ladies that work there are always very nice and helpful. I even feel comfortable bringing my kids in with me when I shop, they are always so sweet to them and have a play bin in the back so I can shop in peace. I wish I could give 0 stars. This honestly will be the last time I buy from lululemon. I am continually disappointed in not just their customer service but also their quality of product! I just purchased the white camo outfit online, mind you i know white is hard to keep clean, but their sales representatives really allowed for this to be sold to me! I can understand a small spot (MAYBE) but this is unacceptable! Mind you, I drove 20+ minutes for this so I expected it to be in perfect condition, especially with the cost and name brand, but the sports bra looked used! Or like some girl who was lathered in self tanner tried it on and now one cared that it was all brown on the inside. I wish I could post pictures! If I figure out how, I will. I called the store and they are not empathetic or apologetic at all. Lulu clearly doesn't care about their valuable customers. I'm going to continue to support other brands who are just as good like balance athletica.... at least their stuff isn't used and they care about their customers. Omg so much luv for this place! It is kind of out of the way. But it's sooooo worth it! Keep in mind I was in SD on business and didn't have much time to begin with. I got here and although they didn't have the bag or pants that I was looking for, for cuteness. I still felt the need to shop and drop about $200 for stuff. (Still got her something). Soley based on the epic customer service I received from the ladies here. And they're about lululemon here. They know the past and current product. They also explained alot of things to me. Also we had funny convos. The vibe here is genuinely friendly. They even checked on me while I was trying on gear. Which threw me off guard lol. I've been to almost all the lululemon stores in SD. (Except for one. A lady from here called there to see if they had the bag or pants). I could honestly say this is the best one in SD. And sure enough "Pricey but worth it" is how I describe LULU as well. Amazing designs and durable clothing is a rare combination to find especially for clothes that get washed 2x/week. Yes I am a pretty active person and I do laundry twice a week . perhaps little on the clean freakish side. LUV LUV LUV Lululemon, I have been buying lulu for almost 10 years and still wear every piece Really I do. They hold there shape last forever and give you a perfect yoga butt, round high and small. I have bought everything from Lucy, to Adidas, Puma, Nike, which never look good for long or shrink in the wash. I am tall and I hate when I buy pants that look like floods after I wash them. Although the alternatives were less expensive in the long run they don't last or look good for as long so end up costing so much more. I always get compliments when I have lulu's on. I own so many lulu things it's crazy - for me anyway - I really don't like to shop - but I have dozens of pieces, and I always want more.Even though I am really not a big shopper, I like to buy good quality that lasts and looks great and I know lulu is exceptional quality, I have never been disappointed. They are amazing in terms of service and community involvement. And they make me look good too. What more can a girl ask for. A few years ago you would only see the odd person wearing lulu, now every time I go out someone has something lulu on. I have even seen them on dancing with the stars, on Kelly Ripa, Madonna and on Oprah too. Makes me laugh, I look for the unmistakable Omega stamp. I know it's going to be big. I first starting buying lulu in Canada. It's really popular even though it's more expensive then the alternatives. You cannot go to a yoga class, soccer match, sports event, or a trendy coffee shop and not see 50%+ of the women in some lulu. They are great for sports, and for just walking around running errands. Just got the best customer service from Taylor today. I have the studio pant in pretty much every color. The 2 I purchased a few months ago, the metal crimp part on the drawstrings came off. Needless to say I was pretty bummed (they're cost $100+ each). Customer service recently told me the local lulu would fix it fort me. Feeling hopeful, I walked in and was greeted by Taylor, she was so helpful and fixed my problem right away. I know these pants are not cheap but they are seriously the most comfortable pants ever. "Pricey but worth it" is how I'd describe Lulu. I definitely don't have the kind of $$ to pay $100 for a pair of pants on a regular basis, but I do love their bras. They have the BEST exercise bras! Highly recommend the Cross Your Heart bra, which is a newish one. I have it in two colors, and it works well for us busty gals (I run between a 36D-DD generally). They have super cute hoodies & pants, too, but man... Pricey! Though sometimes they're on sale, which is nice (but BE SURE you want them, because even on sale they're expensive, and generally non-returnable!) The free yoga classes sunday morning are nice too and very catered to first-timers or beginner yogis. So bummed ! Yesterday my boyfriend and I hiked Torrey Pines and after I wanted to get a couple new outfits for I had a very successful workweek and wanted to treat myself to something fabulous! Heard so much about them that I had to go in and try their clothes on for myself. Store is moderate in size and well organized. I made a beeline for the hot yoga shorts and running section and barely browsed for less than3 min when a sales person immediately asked me if I needed help. The other 2 staff members were also very friendly and helpful. To be honest I sometimes I find fit, attractive young sales people at fitness stores intimidating but they were very warm and nice, asking if I've ever tried these on before and made helpful suggestions. Items were expensive but I tried to go for the reversible shorts so I could make the most of my $$. Note: "boogie on" and "boogie" shorts are NOT the same. The boogie shorts with the wide band at the stomach is much more flattering than the one with the thin band. Very flattering for such a tiny fit. If my wallet can stand it, I'll definitely be back :) read more

I came with a friend to take a free one hour Zumba class. I guess it was off the record because it wasn't really publicized..than again it was a group of 24 hour fitness crew. But did that class kick my butt! and I still feel it every time I squat! Two teachers, 30 mins each and lots and lots of shaking and moving going on. The store was really open and friendly pushing aside their merchandise so us Zumbaer's (yes I just made up a word) to fray and frail all over the place. I loved the mix of salsa, hip hop and other dance moves. If they ever have another free class with these to instructors I am putting on my hot pants and strutting my two left feet. read more

Came here at around 1:00pm on a Sunday, and it was PACKED. The nice weather must have inspired all the La Jollans to buy high-end activewear. Nevertheless, the friendly staff here did a reasonably good job of crowd management. The line for the fitting rooms was fast and efficient. They were resilient enough to open two additional registers when the line became 8 people deep. I think I was just lucky to find the merchandise I wanted on sale that day. The men's selection is a bit sparse. And for only having a small handful of items, they were out of my size on several full-price items. Still, you can't beat a place that sells such high-quality, long-lasting merchandise AND offers free yoga on the weekends. read more

LOVE the free yoga classes on Saturdays at 8:30am. They can get a little crowded depending on the week so get there a little early to grab a good spot, but seriously--FREE classes?! Too good to believe. And its nice that the instructors are rotating--it's always a good surprise! I am obessed (to say the least) with this brand of yoga/running gear! While it may be expensive, it's longevity makes it worth the cash! The girls that work there are always friendly, and even remember you if you come in a second time. I was asked how I was enjoying my new product I had bought the last time I had come in! They are always super helpful and friendly- makes me feel like I am talking with one of my friends! There are two things in life that I have unnecessary product loyalty to: Smart Water (something about it is so tasty!) and Lululemon. I have been a loyal Lulu follower for years now. I am 6' tall, so I happened upon Lulu long, long ago when searching for quality, loooooong workout pants. Major sticker shock- until I put them on. Anything that can make my big round booty look good is worth every penny! Yeah it is expensive, but honestly I wear the heck out of my lulu, and it is all still in good shape. Now, I'm NOT one of those "green" people constantly touting organic, but they have certain styles in organic cotton, which is nothing short of heavenly! The styles are always hip and just a little crazy, so is the mindset of the store. I love the reusable bags and free classes (haven't been to any at this location though). The staff here is awesome too- not at all pretentious yogis. My only gripe is that over the years the company has migrated all the production to China, and you can kind of tell. The quality suffers, while the price stays high. Strange, because it seems against the philosophy of this very philospohy-heavy company. And that of course has zero to do with this location, so it doesn't count against them :) What does is that while this location is fab, parking sucks! Your arms will get a great workout turning the steering wheel while you drive around the block 10 times looking for a spot. I went from just checking it out to Photo Shoot ready! I want to start by saying this place is very expensive...BUT, it is well worth it once you have that item on your body. Being in the Fitness Industry I have always heard things here and there about how great Lululemon is. I decided to finally go check it out for myself. The first time I went to the one in La Jolla. I'll begin by saying La Jolla upscale area and Lululemon definitely lives up to those upscale standards. I was impressed from the moment I walked in. Employees are helpful and all wearing some Lululemon item. Great for advertising; not to mention, our very own live fashion show. I enjoyed the helpful personalities, but it seems as though once you show them you are just looking you become invisible. Well at least my first time in there. My second time back I brought a friend with me. We were looking for a fitness outfit to wear in our upcoming Photo Shoot at Zendiego Fitness. All the people working that day were more than helpful. We spent at least 2-3 hrs there and luckily didn't get a parking ticket...wwwhhhoooaa, close call and lucky us. I found so many sports bras and shorts to try on. They have lots a bright colors and styles. You can even have them alter the fabric to fit your body perfectly for those little fixes on their shirts. I want to say the woman helping me in the back was Jenn. She was awesome. Brought out other sizes and even recommendations so I didn't have to leave the dressing room unless I wanted to. She was funny and helped out a lot with my final outfit. Their fabric feels expensive and as though it will last longer than normal workout stuff under normal wear and tear. I choice their dry-fit hot yoga shorts, but unfortunately their were out of my size in the sports bra. The other compression shorts feel amazing but they just didn't fit low enough on my waist without having to wrinkle the top down. The hot ones' fit perfectly and I can't wait to see how fast they dry. As for their sports bra's, OMG I love my, not ONE, but TWO: low impact, low V-cut in the front, T-cut in the back Sports Bra!!! I put it on and instantly fell in love. It shows all the right parts and highlights my back like no other bra. I got a purple one and a black one; the only two left in my size. Even picked up a matching head-band. I never like to feel tired down by clothes and this combination only covers the essentials and shows the rest. I not only feel comfortable in it but SEXY! Lululemon is a total confidence booster. Some people make clothes look good, while others' clothes make them look good; either way can be true at Lululemon! ;) Besides the prices being a stretch I love this store. The sell items but also promote the life style that I am trying to live. Their motos are positive and hopeful. Overall the big picture makes you want to be a better person. They are creating a sense of community with their bulletin boards and in-store yoga classes. I can't wait to save up for another outfit and try out a class. I would definitely recommend Lululemon to everyone. Oh and just to show they do go above and beyond at times once they know your name; the cashier that helped me, actually called me the next day to let me know the sports bra I was looking for the other day just came in in my size. ;) You girls are great. Is there a 12-step program for a lulu addiction?! I need an intervention! My first visit was to the La Jolla store a few months ago & I've been hooked ever since. The staff were very helpful & friendly. I never felt any pressure to buy. Flash forward several months/shopping trips/purchases later: My lulu gear takes me from the gym, to the mountain, to the yoga studio & to school. I especially love the moisture-wicking properties of my clothes because I sweat like its nobody's business. I don't know how they do it, but they manage to make clothes that are supportive enough for my most high impact activities (running, jumping rope and plyometrics), but they never bind or constrict me. I also like how they only make a limited number of each item & how they change their styles up all the time. Finally, I want to give lululemon props for making clothes in different sizes that flatter different shapes. I have an athletic build, but I also have curves & their All Sport Short fits my muscular legs like a dream. I am giving four stars because let's face it, lulu is cost prohibitive and for as much I as am obsessed, they need to remember they aren't the only game in town ;) read more

I discovered Lululemon a few years ago visiting Vancouver, BC Canada. I was amazed how Robson street, English Bay, Coal's Harbor, Stanley Park had women wearing this pilates/yoga wear. They wore it dressed down, dressed up; going to work, with running shoes; all sorts of ways. My friend I was visiting took me to the Robson street store. Now years later, I have bought my girlfriend ( now fiance') all sorts of gear. And I can say the clothing is great. Looks great, functions great; she loves it all and we have a great time checking out Lululemon whenever we're in Vancouver. Now there is a store in La Jolla here in San Diego and Meaghan, the community leader of the store has opened up our world to a community of people at lululemon involved with fitness, health, social consciousness, and we've shown her and some of her colleagues the benefits of health and nutrition from our work at Mission Hills Physical Therapy; namely how gluten-free diets help clear up auto-immune issues. It's been a great relationship with us and the lululemon crew. We've even been at some of their weekly Sunday runs. Lululemon is my new favorite store to get workout clothing :) The employees are so friendly at the La Jolla location which makes the shopping experience there so much better. It is pricey, but so worth the money for the quality! Their sale racks are also worth looking at. I was charged twice for a shirt and didn't realize until a few days later when I was cleaning out my receipts. Good thing I noticed it.. I am a lulu addict for more than a year! Replaced entire Nike wardrobe! Lulu have colors, styles, support! Hide the tummies, enhance the saggies! Love their clothes! Their stocks are going through the roof too! This LJ store have way better selection than online. They have sales whereas online sale are limited. Online has free shipping. And the store offer FREE ALTERATIONS for the hem of pants and tops for us petites folks!!! And most of their tops have a compartment for a breast padding, and the pads are also free. I love lulu but the main reason I go to this location is because of the phenomenal service. Jackie welcomed me right away, not to sell but rather to ask me how my day was, allowing me to vent and grind her ear on my life. She had extremely positive things to tell me about her own life and career at lulu lemon. All the other girls were extremely helpful and friendly. Extremely disappointed. I've been into this location twice. Both times no one said anything to me when I walked in. The first time I went there was a man standing by the door who said nothing as I walked past him. When I couldn't find what I was looking for I asked if he worked there and all he was yes and did not offer to help me, nor did anyone else. As someone who works in retail I was appalled at the lack of customer service and the workers snotty attitudes. Both times I've been to this store I've left empty handed, not because I didn't see anything I liked but because I couldn't stand being around such rude people any longer.
