VUORI @ LA JOLLA Street parking is available throughout the area, along with parking right out front. Parking is free for two hours, and when I came on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't packed at all. I really love Vuori. This was actually my first time shopping in-store, even though I've heard so many great things about the brand from friends. My boyfriend and I stopped by while doing some Christmas shopping, and I wanted him to try on a few jackets. I especially loved their fleece jacket, which is around $140. They also have a great selection of shorts, both lined and unlined in colors like green, blue, black, and gray. I'm a big fan of the store's overall aesthetic. The service was great from the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted, and everything in the store was very organized. The fitting rooms were spacious, and I loved that there was a comfy seating area where I could relax while my boyfriend tried things on. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ended up spending about $330 and picked up their iconic tote bag, which is really cute. If it's your first time shopping at Vuori, you can sign up on their website to get 20% off, which is a great perk. Overall, I loved my experience at Vuori and would definitely recommend stopping by. I usually visit the Del Mar location but they are currently expanding so they're closed. There was an event at the Vuori LJ location so a few friends and I went. The store is huge with a lot more inventory that what we were used to at Del Mar! The girls working there were so nice and helpful. They seemed more friendly then the current staff at Del Mar. The dressing rooms had actual doors (Del Mar only had curtains for doors) and there were more cash registers. I personally prefer Vuori over Lululemon and have for the past several years. They keep up with the changes but also keep favorites that loyal fans of fallen in love with. I would 100% return to this location even though street parking can be tough. One of the girls even encouraged me to bring my pup as they welcome them and even takes a photo of the pet to put on the wall :) Lulu is a few doors down so you could try both stores on the same visit as well. read more

I like Vuori clothing a lot actually so I was looking forward to this visit, but wow did I feel unwelcome. I was wanting to treat myself to a matching set for a little fitness achievement I recently hit and was struggling to find items that went together or met what I was looking for. None of the folks on the floor asked if I needed assistance and when I tried to approach it was like they deliberately walked away, it was honestly weird. My partner wanted to try something on though so we went to the fitting room and there was a wonderful woman named Bella (I'm 85% sure on this name and apologize if it's wrong!). Really disappointed in my experience here. I've been really on the hunt for some new spots bras. Vuori has been marketing to me HARD online, and I've loved the styles. I'd added a bunch of things to my cart and then hesitated at checkout because it was like $900 . Then I realized that I'd be near this store over the weekend because I was showing my work at La Jolla Art and Wine, and I'd have 30 min before they closed to get some shopping in. The person working was so rude to me when I walked in that I turned right around and walked back out. I'd thought I'd just let it go, but nearly a week later I'm still thinking about it and what a rancid vibe it was. Here to give a special shout out the customer service received here by an associate who I believe was named Felicity. She was incredibly patient and helpful as we browsed and tried to select the correct items. Ultimately she was very helpful and patient with us in applying the new email sign up coupon and selecting the items from the online catalog since they were not in stock. She helped us with shipping and the whole order. We were honestly probably a bit annoying, but she remained helpful, upbeat, patient and kind throughout the encounter. It really stood out as someone not just going through the motions to get us out of there but someone who seemed to genuinely want to help which is rare in the customer service world these days. Vuori is one of my favorite activewear brands. And I had to stop in this store on my trip to La Jolla. The store was super organized and well kept. Workers were kind and professional, and not pushy at all. I went to the fitting room twice, because I kept finding amazing pieces! Bought some khaki hiking/workout shorts. Almost tried on a warm jacket but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. The price is fair for the high quality pieces, and they always have a sale rack in the back. read more

I am a Vuori STAN and I have turned every person in my family into one too. Step aside Lululemon, there's a new athleisure brand in town- with the softest fabrics and comfiest fits! My closet is pretty much all Vuori now. I have their boyfriend joggers and their shorts in multiple colors. My husband's closet is also full of Strato Tees, joggers and shorts as well. They make great quality athleisure that has such a good feel! I recently bought a beautiful coat that I'll be taking on a trip to Europe. I loved the fit and that it had a slightly casual feel but still looked really sleek and perfect for vacation travel. The people in the store are always super friendly. If you don't see the size you need on the floor, you should ask, because I've found that they often have more sizes in the back. Love Vuori! read more

Wanted to applaud this particular Vuori store. We have been to several Vuori locations and i must say this was the most helpful location we have been to. Fiancé called ahead to see if they had 3 particular boyfriend joggers available and to hold for us since we were coming out of town. We came 30 minutes prior to closing and Dusty had it ready and was so pleasant and helpful finding more styles that we had no luck finding up in SF/SJ. The other associate in the fitting room and out on the floor were so kind as well offering for help. I cracked the door for a second to look for my fiancé and the associate offered to help me find more and including my fiancé lol! Major props! Other locations you have to ask for help where this location they naturally offer you assistance with a smile. I have to say we were more incline to buy more due to the amount of stock they had and willingness to assist ! Thank you Dusty for a great experience here! You are a true ambassador of the brand from wearing all the clothing and talking about the history of the brand and how much you love it ! I came here last Tuesday to exchange a pair of shorts that were the wrong size for my husband. The store is nice, bright and clean. The sales girl that approached us was just "ok". I told her I needed to go up a size on the shorts I was returning for my husband and she just pointed me in the right direction and walked away. Hmmm. I shopped a little for myself, tried a few things on but ultimately just exchanged the shorts I brought. When checking out she was not experienced enough to complete my return and handed me off to her co-worker. I'm not sure if he was a manager but he was great. Ash, Zach, and Alex went above and beyond helping my friend Paul and I last Friday. We were in dire need to do an entire wardrobe refresh for my buddy Paul. We needed a place close to where he lives in La Jolla since I was teaching him how to buy for himself and Paul doesn't have a car to go far. Also he is disabled and we couldn't walk a lot like at a mall. I love Vuori because it is a trending brand, super comfortable, the best quality, and moisture wicking. The moisture wicking and anti-bacterial aspect really helps my disabled friend, since he sweats easy and needs clothes that helps keep him dry and fresh. The clothing material also doesn't fade, is anti wrinkle, and doesn't hold odors. All this is important for us since my friend needs professional and easy to maintain clothes for a future job. Zach greeted us well at the door and quickly understood our situation and tried his best to help. Alex was Zach's cool wingman encouraging us. Zach and Alex were super friendly, welcoming, and engaging. Ash deserves an award. She was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Ash was so warm that she took the nervousness immediately away from my friend. He hasn't shopped for new clothes probably for a couple years. Ash also really knew the product well, what was in stock, and found more things once she knew what we needed. Ash's kind personality really stood out. They make some of the most comfortable clothing out there. You can feel that it's good quality. I have joggers, jackets and a swim suit from them. The swim suit is made with high quality materials and fits perfectly - the jogger sets are great for flying, shopping or hanging out around the house. This was my first Vuori experience- and let me tell you, I wish I could give 0 stars. That is how awful my experience was. My friends gifted me my first set of Vuori sweats and sweatshirt for my birthday, but unfortunately, they were too small and I needed to exchange them for a different size. I do not live local and drove an hour to La Jolla with my 3 year old to exchange these items. From the minute I walked in, the customer service was underwhelming. I grabbed the sizes I needed, along with other items to try on. One customer service rep asked if I needed a room, I said yes please, and she took my things. When I was ready to go try on, the customer service rep in the back had no idea where my stuff was- instead of asking her other rep for help or doing anything try try and find my items, she just looked in the rooms and said, "oh I don't see anything, sorry". I waited to see if she was going to go ask her other rep, but instead she just stood there. So I walked to the front to try and find the other girl who was helping me- come to find out she had put my products behind the counter instead of the dressing room. When I went back to try stuff on, I was counting and holding up how many items I had to try- usually retail stores ask you how many items you have to try on. When I did this, the rep said "oh I don't care how many items you have, just don't steal anything, thats all I care about". This took me so off guard, I didn't even know how to respond. I just laughed. It made me feel very uncomfortable. When I went to check out- with not only my exchange, but other items as well. I was told they could not exchange my items unless I had a gift receipt- which I was not given with the gift, or I would need my friend who had bought me the gift, entire life profile. I did not have a gift receipt and for some reason my friends purchase was not in the system- although all her information was. They were interrogating me on who purchased it, what her name was, email, phone number, birthday. I was so confused because I have never experienced this before at a store and my exchange was clearly brand new, with tags from Vuori- what else did I need? I was not trying to return anything, I was trying to exchange my items for a larger size and I was even trying to give them more money. I asked if there was anything they could do for me since I did not live local and the clothing did not fit me. They told me No. They could not do anything. So to me that meant "Your friend will have to come back in and figure it out and then you will have to come back in and exchange for what you want and waste another 3 hours of my day trying to exchange 2 items." I understand all stores have their own policies on exchanges and returns and can respect that, but I know for a fact that this is not the standard for this company across the board. The lack of customer service or figuring out any way to help the situation was shocking. The rep was very non communicative and downright rude. I pride myself on being a kind, honest, and positive person and I thought Vuori matched those values as a company. Needless to say, I will never spend money at this company again. LuluLemon has a customer for life after that experience. read more
