The service here is excellent! I was worried about walking into a Lulu store as in the past I only ordered online. And I read reviews for different locations that some were better than others re: service, attitude, and stock. I came to this one because I was down the street. They have a few parking spots in back but so many businesses are also here so there is tons of parking. All the sales reps I encountered were super friendly and nice. Came in today with the intention of recycling some items. I didn't know about their recycle program until recently. I think it's a lot better than trying to re-sell items online on Poshmark or something else. Allison was the lovely lady who assisted us today and she was so friendly and helpful. She went as far as to price match one of their sale items online that was in store. I greatly appreciated the gesture. Great customer service. My bf had brought in some shorts too that had a manufacture issue. She helped him with that as well. We learned something new today! Let's be real: The entire city of Los Angeles is one big informercial for fake boobs and yoga pants. So if you want to be one with the culture, this is the place to shop. Granted, you'll be paying twice what you would for workout clothes anywhere else, but the quality is good and the customer service is pretty great too. This location is located in a strip mall with plenty of free parking and it's conveniently right next to a Citibank so you can easily go get more money when you spend everything you have in this store. They are well staffed with friendly salesgirls sprinkled throughout the store, who are happy to discuss sizes and preferences with you. They were clear about their return policy (2 weeks) which puts you at ease when you're paying a pretty penny for (admittedly adorable) gear. They have mannequins atop their shelves showcasing each of their designs to give a better idea of how the designs look and fit. Then you can go into the cubbies directly below which will have all available choices by size. Their leggings/bottoms come in cropped, and full length at different strengths (tight tight vs looser yoga style). For tops they range from low support to extra support, depending on what activities you do. Their clothing lasts (but be sure to wash with similar items - no towels) and they are the most comfortable and flattering designs I've found. But good luck convincing me that workout clothes are for anything other than wearing as I go about my day or while sitting on the couch eating snacks. And honestly - the stress of figuring out how I'm to pay my credit card after this shopping excursion probably burned a lot of calories, no? read more

I love this store! If I had buckets of money to spill some where I would have barrels of fun spilling them here! I want everything I see! The store is covered with some of the best exercise clothes you can buy. I love the capris pants and the sports bras, they are the best. I have the hardest time finding a perfect sports bra....close to impossible sometimes. The sports bra I love is called the Ta Ta Tamer...it holds those suckers in when you need them tucked in for a workout!!! The customer service is a notch above excellent. They tailored their care to each individual person and call you by your name when they are helping you. The girl help you in the dressing room like you have your best friend with you. I really appreciate having such great customer service. The products here are pricy but I feel like they last forever. Quality product, quality service, and a quality experience! read more

This location is right on Ventura but has a big parking lot in the back. Be careful, as there are many homeless people in this area and not all are friendly. This store isn't huge but it's well decorated and the sections are well placed. They have 2 or 3 racks of sale items, and sometimes you can find some great stuff! I found a nice pair of soft yoga pants in a beautiful burnt orange color for $59! Luckily I also had $20 left on a gift card so I had a great shopping day here! The staff at this location are very welcoming and eager to help. I felt very comfortable here, not pushed or rushed. It was a very pleasant experience. If they don't have an item you want in store. They will easily order it and have I shipped to your house at no charge. read more

I love this location and the shopping area. There's plenty to shop and eat. Did I mention there's plenty of parking? In the back - fo free, gratis, yup yup. Or some street parking and public parking structure that is free for the first 20 minutes, then like 40 cents every 20 mins. Not too shabby, thanks Studio City!!!! Let me just say . . . before lululemon i wore Nike and other sports wear most of my life. Now i'm saying . . . where has lulu been all my life? The best sports bras you can find, I am a 34D and i've always had difficulty finding the right fit to adjust properly with the right amount of support, or pants tailored to fit. They will literally tailor your pants! I've had multiple bras and athletic leggings from here and they last with proper care of course. Take some gear out for a test run, great for everything from yoga to cycling. might i add how amazing they will fit your bum! The best customer service, always a friendly greeting when you enter/exit. The location is good, there is a parking lot behind the store. The price is good for it's quality, but i can't resist a lululemon sale ever! I'm sure it's just as great for men, although i have no experience. read more

Studio City is my least traveled city in LA and I have never stepped foot into this Lulu, but I'm glad I did! The selection of clothes and sizes are perfect for me and I got to grab a lot of things on my first time being in the store. Got a jacket for the boyfriend here, a sports bra for myself and ready to take it to my journeys across Asia and also a tank top. Love the organized lay out of the store the only thing I didn't like was possibly the fitting rooms. It felt too tight inside. I'm not a big girl but to me it just didn't seem as comfortable as others but maybe that was just my imagination. read more

I just had to throw out my go getter bag because the fake leather handles started shedding all over the place. This was one of my favorite bags I have ever owned. It had yoga mat strap, came with a shoe drawstring pouch and a flat iron sleeve. It could hold a laptop and had pockets for a coffee bottle and a water bottle on the outside separated from the laptop. I called Tumi to ask about an amazing duffle bag they have with a separate zippered shoe compartment and mentioned what happened to my lulu bag. They asked me if there was a warrantee on Lululemon bags and why I didn't bring it back in because the Tumi goods are all under warrantee. I am not even sure if Lulu would do anything to remedy the situation, but I really want that bag to be my workout / work bag again. It was the best bag I have ever had for that combined use! Smaller store but very friendly and helpful sales people with decent selection in terms of styles and sizes. Plenty of parking in back (enter via driveway just past store if heading East on Ventura or off Laurel Canyon Blvd at the Von's). Even though I went right before the busy December holidays, I was able to get in and out in about 40 minutes even with trying on multiple items etc. would come here again. read more

Definitely a Five-star store! This one is probably three times the size of the one in So. Pas, twice the one in Glendale, hence more merchandises and selections. I've been on a mission to find the Hot Spell Bra in black in a size 4. I saw it online, added it in my shopping cart, and decided to purchase a few days later. Well, I was out of luck by then because they were sold out! Even now, all the black ones aren't even pictured on their online store. I called store after store and found it at this location. I was helped by the nicest woman over the phone and she was able to put it on hold for me. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the same woman who I spoke to on the phone. I love the ladies that work here!! Came in looking for new workout pants and the a sales woman approached me rather quickly, asked a few questions and immediately starting pulling a bunch of different styles, sizes, and colors for me. Went to the dressing room where another super helpful sales woman was waiting. I tried everything on and surprisingly ended up loving something that I never would have picked for myself. If it wasn't for the lovely ladies there I would have ended up with nothing, or something I hated. The store itself is super fun, lots of clothing and accessories, bright colors, fun music, great staff, and my absolute favorite AMAZING PARKING! Also have to add that their products are so good. So I love lulu and honestly the ones in SD tend to have negative yelp reviews that center around poor customer service. There are complaints about being snobby, unfriendly, etc... but this Lulu was awkwardly different. I walked in, like all stores, it was clean, well organized, and laid out about the same as all the other stores I've been to. The difference when I went was it looked like a group of about 10 new employees were going through training. I could overhear someone explaining the layout of the stores, the clothing racks, etc to a large group of over eager folks who had to be new employees. I literally could not take 3 steps in that store without being greeted and offered assistance. It was so very nice and simultaneously annoying. I even said something to one of the sales people about being a little overly helpful and she commented "well that's our job." I am sure part of it was that if folks were being trained a manager was in the store, but given that there were 6-7 sales people in a small space and no other customers it was a bit overwhelming! Free yoga or pilates classes on Sunday was what got me in to the store! I can't believe I lived a few minutes away for years without knowing the classes existed and now I'm moving away in a month to a place without Lululemons. Darn. After several weekends of classes, I finally broke down and got some yoga/pilates gear. I'm going to be far more comfortable in my practice, but I'm still hoping that the clothes will wake up in the morning and make me breakfast in bed for the price.* ;-) Gorgeous space, really nice and helpful staff, and the clothes are ridiculously comfortable and apparently last for a very long time if taken care of properly. * Which is the only reason my review isn't 5 stars, although I know that's no fault of this store in particular.
