My wife bought a jacket online in December 2022 as a Christmas gift. The recipient had just purchased a similar jacket and on January 3, 2023, my wife returned the jacket to the store at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. She was given a receipt for the return with the understanding that the money would be refunded to her PayPal account (which she used to purchase the jacket). We were told it would be 4/5 days before we got the refund. We went back to the Tukwila store on January 16, 2023 to check the status of the refund only to be told that they could not help us and that we needed to contact Lululemon online. We wasted another hour, talking to their customer service people who informed us that PayPal refunds take anywhere from 10 to 14 days. We waited patiently and yesterday reached out to Lululemon customer service again only to be told the following: We recommend you to follow up with the store since at this moment we don't have access to in-store transactions. This is the information for the Westfield Soutchcenter Mall: Having been told that they can't help us one time already. Why would we be referred back to the retail store who has taken no ownership of the situation? PayPal is acting equally ignorant right now, and we are beyond frustrated. Bottom line... If you need to exchange some thing and get a refund, don't hold your breath. They are great at ringing you up, but after the cell service is this poor as we've ever experienced. Be aware if you are buying Lululemonas a gift. You cannot return iteam unless you present the original receipt and original form of payment. With a gift receipt you will be able to get store credit or exchange product. Lululemon's priority is to keep your money instead of the costumer experience. Not worth the hype. Asked my wife "What do you think?". My wife said, "Over priced, I only buy from the sale rack. The staff is nice!". We went over the weekend and as my wife scanned the sales rack, I found all the customers were women, young and pretty, appeared either to be high school students, models or into yoga. Super nice when they need you to buy a pair of pants, but no remorse or recourse when they mess up by leaving the security tag on multiple times. I don't have a ton of time to make it to the store and when I did to try on different sizes/styles I had my toddler with me. Im not familiar with lululemon sizes so I tried a 4 & 6 which are my typical size in jeans. Size 4 was tiny so I went with the 6 and rushed out. After some time wearing my size 6 I decided they were tighter than I like them to be and I decided to order a few more pairs this time in size 8. My hiking pants were huuuge so I wrote off all pairs I ordered and waited for a chance to bring them in. Fast-forward 10 days and I was able to make it into the store where I was helped by CJ. She was able to exchange two pairs for me and also encourage me to try on the pairs that I hadn't tried on yet because different styles can fit differently. I ended up really liking two that I ordered and exchanged what I didn't. CJ was terrific and her attitude and work ethic is top notch. I felt bad coming in within the last 30 minutes of the store being open but she didn't make me feel like a pain in the ass. I appreciated her help and her checking in with me throughout my time in the store. CJ deserves a raise read more

**This story happened before COVID.** This store has me convinced to never, ever, shop at a LuluLemon ever again. I went in for a return for a gift without a receipt (Happily take responsibility for this, I don't keep receipts well). The security guard got uncomfortably close behind me while the cashier explained that without a receipt they couldn't accept it. That policy seemed a bit odd, but that's alright, not a big deal I can respect that. Again, my fault i lost the receipt and there's no sense getting into it with someone who was honestly just doing their job. I placed the shirt in the bag that I brought into the store and went to check out their shirts. The guard continued to follow me (this time at a distance) while their multiple workers on the floor came up to me and asked if I needed assistance. Consecutively. Without giving me a moment to check their floor out. I've worked retail for quite a bit growing up and I can recognize a ruse when I see one. This is done to deter certain customers from shopping or being near product. I was clearly not welcomed, comfortable, or safe and upon leaving, I can literally hear the guard chuckling, happy to see me leave. I'm not sure if it's because of the return, what I was wearing, how I looked that specific day (was bumming with baggy sweats and probably a dirty shirt), or any other reason in regards to how i look but I've accepted that I am specifically not welcomed back. I've replayed this experience in my head time and time again to figure out what I did wrong and to this day, I cannot figure it out. Whatever their reasons or prejudice was, I sincerely hope others don't ever experience the same scrutiny I felt. I know full well that some of them were just doing their jobs, I get it but grown a** adults basically herding me to leave is kind of hard to forgive or forget. read more

Never really paid attention to the Lululemon's hype until my buddy told me their stocks were doing well so I caved in. It's the most comfortable pair of yoga pants that I own, especially the meshed one where my legs can breathe. It feels like floating on air, not wearing any pants to be honest. The quality is amazing, it's not just something that makes your butt looks great, it is also functional and practical. A lot of the model do seem to have pockets in them which seems convenient to keep maybe an id/credit card/cash/small key, but I'm not sure how comfortable having a hard square piece of plastic rubbing against your skin is while running. This location is in Southcenter mall, closest entrance is the doors near Nordstrom and Din Tai Fung. Everybody is super attentive. I was greeted when I first walked in and had all the help I needed while exchanging two pairs of leggings I received for Christmas. I have been buying leggings at Lululemon for over 10 years. Each year I get multiple pairs and put them in my rotation. All these years I never knew they did hemming AND never knew they would ship items to your home. I have verbalized to sales rep that I'm only considering 7/8 lengths because I'm shorter (5'3") but no one has suggested hemming. On my way back to another airport I stop by this location because the pants I bought just weren't going to work out, they were more see thru than anticipated. Des helped me and she was super nice and accommodating. She tried to help me find other colors that might be less see thru. Although I didn't find a good replacement the gentleman that helped me with my actual return then informed me that normally you can't return items outside 30 days but since I had to tag in the item was current he helped me out. I am originally from California, but I have been to this store during my business trip, and had always been given a pleasant experience. I was particularly looking for a black dress in a size 4, and I called about five stores around my area, all of the sales reps were not helpful AT ALL. After they told me they didn't have the size, I asked them if they could check for another location that might have it, and they told me all they could do was give me other store numbers and that I had to call myself and ask... Ummmm that's fine and all but none of the sales rep sounded like they really wanted to help me to begin with, and plus, with today's technology I highly doubt checking the system is impossible. I figured that since my local stores can't help me, I'll call the store that gave me the best shopping experience, Southcenter Lulu. EMILY (I'm hoping I spelled her name right lol), really went out of her way to help me find this dress. I asked her if there's any way I can locate this dress and have her check the system for me to locate it, and she went out of her way to call the Bellevue store, and call me back to update me on her search. I came in to exchange an article of clothing that was a size too big, and was quite happy with how fast the transaction was. I walked in, found the size that I needed, and was up to the register in no time. I forget the name of the employee who helped me out, but she got my shorts exchanged with no issues and even got me signed up to be on file with them so if anybody goes gift shopping for me in the future, they'll be able to pull up my sizes for whoever is doing the shopping! I've been to a lot of Lululemon stores both in Washington and California. This one by far is the best!!!! I find Lululemon associates to be rather snobby. But at this location, they are all so super nice and helpful. One of them was going on break but waited for me to try on two shirts to see which size looked better. Another associate explained to me the benefits of the Silverescent fabric technology and showed me everything with this technology. I ended up buying two shirts and love them!!! They are comfortable. And I didn't smell after taking a 12 mile (sweaty) bike ride. That's a first! Lululemon, make sweatshirts with Silverescent!!! And biking/running pants too. mon and i knew that they just had done a software change so items were not being found easily. He bluntly told me no. I started recording my video in the store and announcing the issue and then he noticed that he was getting caught for his poor customer service so he ran to grab me two shirts (different style but same price), since he did not have the right size, i agreed to get them in the mail. I thanked him and walked out. Shirts caI bought three button down shirts in the end of January before Covid 19 hit USA. These shirts were all the same size but two different colors. Post covid I am sure i may have gained 2 or 3 lbs. Surprisingly one shirt fits perfect but the other two were too tight. I took them back to Tukwila store. Store manager, the minute he saw me seemed to have decided that he was not going to help me that day. He asked me for a receipt, i told him that i did not have the receipt as i did not have the intention to return them. Moreover since they have my phone number, he could pull the history of my purchases. He browsed the screen and said that he could not find. I insisted that he looked more as i bought the shirts from Lululeme in the mail, i tried them and they did not work for me but by now i knew what would work as i bought another shirt from Bellevue store by now (btw, Bellevue, Seattle, Vancouver Canada are all good stores and only bad experience is Tukwila, i can assure this as i have been a customer since Chip Wilson's days). i went back to exchange the shirts for what would work for me. Same story started again, he asked for the receipt, i gave him my phone number and he found the purchase. I had taken the tag back with me. Now his excuse for not taking the shirt back was that i had the tag but it was not attached to the shirt so he won't take it back. i called the customer service and was helped by someone very nice who listened to my issue with a lot of compassion. but i was shocked to hear that Lululemon does not have one global policy of returns. Each manager can make his/ her decision. AS far as i am concerned, i am never stepping my foot in Tukwila store as long as that manager is still there read more

A worker listened to what we wanted and quickly got us set up with a few different sizes and styles to try on. I have never had a bad experience with any of my returns at this location. That's not to say I've never been told no- I have a pair of run times pants that have a seam on one leg that twists and they said I couldn't exchange them- but I wouldn't say I've ever had a negative experience. I have tried to make 2 returns at this store and had bad experiences both times. The most recent was today and for the "all the right places" leggings. The seams on these were coming undone and had a couple holes. I bought these leggings recently and have the receipt and tags however was DENIED a return. This goes against the company's policy and ignores Lululemon's quality product statement. I called their corporate office and explained the situation and they offered me a full refund for the pants and included shipping for me to send them back to the warehouse. Corporate apologized for my negative experience and said I was not offered the options for a return/exchange as I should have been. Best location! Everyone is super friendly and willing to help you find what you need. I bought two pairs of pants from outlet and needed to get them hemmed. The girl helping me said that they could only hem one of the pairs due to embroidery on the second pair. She offered me an exchange or store credit for the second pair. I was really surprised by how helpful and understanding that she was with the whole situation because I have heard of horror stories with trying to return/ exchange things.
