The bakery is located a little off the Main Street but it's very short walk. I have to say if you're driving by it's very easy to miss it. My friends and I arrived here on a Tuesday morning and we were immediately greeted by Jocelyn our server. We just wanted a good coffee and some treat so we all got cappuccinos and croissants. The cappuccino was the best I had in my entire stay in Lake George. The girls and I made it a point to order one at every location we went to and nothing compared this place. It was delicious! The croissant was fresh, delicate and had the perfect layered crisp. The place is truly beautiful, it honestly feels like you're in Europe. Every details put into this place truly makes it remarkable. Again, Jocelyn, who is a local, was the sweetest server. She makes sure every customer leaves happy. We also got to meet the owner who bakes every item with much love and care. We loved this place so much we stopped by on our way home that afternoon for their fresh baked sourdough and it was also a hit!! Be sure not to miss this local gem when visiting the area.

Decor was thoughtful and artistic woods and masonry with open air and light, a la Ballston Spa's Whistling Kettle or many Saratoga or Bennington area pubs but a bit classier / feminine. Food was updated American lunches (Bowls, Wraps, Pub sandwiches, soups). The food was very good and the ingredients fresh, with some homemade refrigerator pickles and sauces sprinkled throughout. We both had the gazpacho, very fresh, plainer than some, perfect for the hot summer day. I had the cuban sandwich, which had all the traditional ingredients. Easily one of the best I've had in the states, but if I had a critique, it's that the flavorful homemade pickle kind of stole the sandwich from the somewhat bland ham: if they leaned into a smokier ham it might stand out against the homemade pickle better. ADA access was fair, with the front door level to the streetside and the whole space on one level hardwood floor. Three low wood tables to the left could fit a wheelchair nicely on the end, but other tables were high or in tighter spaces where a wheelchair would struggle. Bathroom was a single unisex, but large enough for a wheelchair and a helpful family member or assistant beside, very clean, and artistically decorated. However, the parking lot/ back door is only accessible up a flight of wood steps and would be impassible for a wheelchair or walker, navigable for the visually impaired. Very much enjoyed Sage and Cedar, will return. If you're in Gloversville and need a lunch with more than a touch of flavor and class, this is the spot. Gloversville and North Amsterdam have a somewhat deserved reputation for being big box/steakhouse territory only, but the past years new arrivals of Grand Indian Kitchen and Sage and Cedar are adding more variety.

It was for a birthday I made cannoli cake but didn't want to make the actual cannolis to save time but wanted a higher quality version than price chopper I also got a latte and it was very good- nice and hot (some places they're kinda cooler) The service was great a woman with short brown hair helped me & made the latte. It was a very cute cafe /bakery and idk if they make their desserts but if they do- great job! Im happy either way and the birthday boy said the cannolis were perfect.

Both the pecan pastry and the raspberry cheese danish were great! No complaints! Where this place falls right off the cliff is service. It's cold and rude. No if's ands or but's about it. And after my experience, I went and read all the reviews. This is a thing apparently. And to make it worse, the owner, instead of apologizing with humility and concern to the guests that keep him in business instead writes entitled zero accountability messages back to patrons after leaving bad reviews. Honestly that's immature and short sighted. The good will of the public doesn't last forever. But on the other hand, if you desperately miss the rudeness of Europe then this is truly the place for you!
