We sat outside and we were able to walk her down by the water when she was getting bored. Drinks, appetizers and food all came out quickly and was just as good as we remembered from last visit!

She rolled her eyes and asked me what was wrong with it, I said it tastes bad and watered down even though my ice haven't melted, it was simply the drink itself and she goes I'll bring you one without ice then with attitude when u wasn't even done talking then goes complaining loudly to to another worker inside about it right in front of me for a solid 5 minutes. I clearly don't want the same bad drink, why would I want it again without ice? Then she comes out with the same drink and I said I didn't say I wanted a new drink of the same drink, she goes "then what do you want?" And I said I don't want anything, clearly annoyed by her terrible customer service & rudeness. Then she takes both cups and chucks it out in the container with more attitude and walks off. She ended up not removing the iced tea off the bill, when I clearly had her take it away after I did not enjoy it. For those of us that didn't ask for a drink, we weren't even provided water after being seated for 20+ minutes. This is an irregular occurrence from my experiences dining & working in hospitality for more than 8 years myself. Once customers are seated, you simply provide water without being asked. I asked for ice water for all of us & she came out with ice water for half of us. I understand the restaurant got busy and you have other tables to tend to, however, you should finish listening to our requests before walking off again. As for food, I enjoyed the bbq chicken Mac. It was a great dish overall & I would order it again. The calamari & fries were also good. Great view of the reservoir from outdoor patio.

However the bill proved other wise. The food? Subpar chicken parmesan so tough I could barely cut it, sauce not great. After dinner was a coffee with Bailey's @ a whopping cost of $20!!! Again looking at the bill $11 for coffee and $9 for Bailey's!! Rest of the food was edible but, nothing to write home about & probably won't be back!!! Charging the prices they are for terrible food is ridiculous! Go somewhere where the food is amazing and pay less prices!

We have been here for half an hour and still haven't seen our first round of drinks that was after waiting 15 min for the waitress to remember where she was. . The waitstaff seems lost. I want to like this place I really do! it has vibe/ambiance it's a cool place really. So to the Local... you need to step it up folks. You got a good thing here if you can raise your game. Side note a few acoustic panels here and there would help greatly with toning down the noise and echo.

We had 6pm reservations for a party of four, arrived about ten minutes early and were seated immediately. The other couple in our party had previously been here and were curious if what they ordered then would be on the menu again. Apparently, the menu is updated weekly. Starting out with cocktails, I know everyone was happy with what they were served. I certainly enjoyed my pint of Coffee Stout, and my wife was pleased with the lavender non-alcoholic cocktail they concocted for her. Because the servings being delivered to other tables appeared to be quite large, we decided to pass on appetizers, in spite of some of the apps sounding rather unique, e.g., Crispy Deviled Eggs, Open Faced Fried Pork Wantons, and Fried Carbonara. My wife was tossed between a Beet Salad with Scallops and the Pistachio Encrusted Chilean Sea Bass. At our server's recommendation she chose the Sea Bass. It was served with corn puree, confit potatoes (which my wife especially enjoyed), and roasted tomatoes. I'll get to enjoy the leftovers. I was trying to make up my mind between the Duck Pot Pie and the Chestnut Mushroom & Boursin Stuffed Tomahawk Pork Chop when our sever alerted us that there were only two servings left of the Pork Chop. I promptly claimed one of them! I am so glad I did. It was an amazingly delicious and well prepared dish. The pork had a slight pinkish color, just as I like it, the meat was so tender and flavorful, the stuffing had a crisped surface from the oven or salamander, everything was wrapped in tasty pancetta, the smashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, a white wine truffle sauce added another level of flavor, and even the carrot spears had the right level of firmness. I can affirm that my leftovers were equally enjoyable. We were not as lucky in having advance notice of the limited availability of a limoncello pie dessert, so my wife and I shared a slice of Banana Cookie Dough Pie. OMG! That was sooooo delicious. It was light, creamy, and not overly sweet. A real treat with the good coffee they serve. That pie along with something from their Lighter Menu, like a burger, would send you home in ecstasy without putting much of a dent in your wallet. Our bill for the party of four having one round of drinks, entrees, and desserts was about $250. Taking the whole dining experience into account, it was a very fair value. But wait! I have more to share with you. On Saturday nights live entertainment is provided by an excellent keyboard player adding to the inviting dinner experience and atmosphere. Great live, unobtrusive, background music is always a plus at dinner. Got a request? Art Mozeik will likely oblige. Even if you'd like to hear a song on an accordion instead of his keyboard. Find your way to Broadalbin, N.Y. for dinner. You won't be disappointed.

Living a portion of my time in Gloversville NY, it pleases me to have found an upscale restaurant that fits my personality and style. I absolutely love the Saturday entertainment (Art) and the fact that the lead chef and sous chef make it a point to come out and greet the guests when able. Staff were super friendly and eager to help. The vibe was very laid back and I can't count how many times I heard them say "take your time" as my wife and I tried to decide on what to get. Could not finish everything even though it was DELICIOUS. If you are in the area during the week I would recommend stopping. I do not recommend this combo. As for hubby's omelette, he didn't lie it either. Our server was at least great. Sorry, Ugly Rooster, but the diners we have here in Maine would kick your butt.

I love when local eateries are well-loved because they deserve it. 9 Miles East Farm certainly does! A lot of the folks who came in for dinner wanted to sit on the terrace to bask in the last couple of hours of sun, but being from Florida I get overdosed with that and sat inside. I'm glad I did, the playlist reminded me of a Sunday picnic without being either. However, the atmosphere felt like that, even indoors. The owner was super personable, and the server was just the right amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken piri piri, and it presented beautifully. I felt comforted by the food. The tender grilled chicken parted from the bone with a twist of my fork and the mashed sweet potato was a great partner to the savory, citrusy, and slightly spicy piri piri. Im not even a chicken thigh person, but this dish changed me. I actually felt tended to and taken care of by the food! Does that even make sense??? It did when I was eating because that's how I felt. And the crazy thing is, I've been here once before. I loved what I ate, but it didn't feel like this. It's been a rough couple of months, but after this meal and listening to the carefree, but intentional music, it lit up my mood and my spirit. This will definitely be one of my go-to's when I visit Saratoga Springs, and I highly recommend 9 Miles East Farm to anyone. I think that a lot of people feel like they're visiting a friend's place when they come here. I definitely did.
