The food is delicious and very well displayed. My compliments to the chef. For me it was definitely a $$$. But worth the price. I was just surprised. They give you a warm greeting when you come in the door. The waitress was super nice and took care of all our needs. The place was very clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. The chef allowed me a special order of oatmeal with cheddar cheese and diced ham. They actually cut the ham up for me. I would definitely go back again and I would recommend this place to everyone. Oh, and they have the best coffee I have ever tasted. It reminded me of the coffee when I was a little boy where you can actually taste the coffee. read more

Free t shirt for checking in on Yelp! Also got a free headache, too. My three children ordered juice in a kids cup, which arrived half full- probably 8-10 oz juice. Those cost $2.75/ ea. If they ordered juice not in a kids cup, it would've been $3.25 for 16oz of juice. The food was okay. My eggs benedict were ordered w the eggs poached medium but arrived w raw egg whites. When I asked the waitress to please provide cooked eggs, I was told that the kitchen was busy. She relented and took the plate back, and the eggs were cooked correctly. I paid in cash, and was not provided the correct change. Instead of waiting for the waitress again, I decided to take it out of the tip. I hated to do that, it could have been an honest mistake, but I needed to get some aspirin after trying to figure out the reasoning behind the juice debacle. read more

Meh....We were hoping for a little better considering the other positive Yelp reviews. We had the pancakes topped with "bananas" and pecans. The pancakes were cooked fine and the "bananas" were fresh, but the dish was certainly uninspiring. The two pancakes...I certainly wouldn't describe them as "HUGE and fluffy" and the "bananas"...well there were 7 or 8 slices of one small banana, so I guess "bananas" is correct if you are considering multiple slices of one banana to be "bananas'. The pecans were right out of the Fisher bag of pecans...guess I'm not sure how to make those look better, but it was a handful tossed on top of the pancakes. The Chicken and Waffles was equally uninspired, hard to imagine they are Lulu's favorite. The "waffles" was a single Belgian waffle topped with 3 chicken tenders. The tenders were standard right from the freezer bag and I couldn't quite place their taste from the fryer....maybe French fries, maybe fish, maybe hushpuppies, or mozzarella sticks...maybe even pickles....or maybe all of them combined. Everything was certainly edible, but that's about it. The prices...well, you don't always get what you pay for. read more

We have been coming to this place for as long as I can remember! We had to stop on our way back to Kentucky today! I got the southern and it divided not disappoint! I'm from a small town and coach cheerleading at our local high school. Our girls compete every year at the MB convention center. We have brought so many families to this gem! I have noticed a lot of the same employees year after year and I think that says a lot! Hardest part is deciding on just what you want to eat, everything is so yummy!!! read more

I came here for the first time in December of 2011 with a group for our Christmas Party. The food was great, atmosphere was relaxed and the servers were terrific. Our entire group ate for less than $40 with a coupon I purchased on Yelp and there were about a dozen of us. I am planning on lunch at Lulu's today too. read more

Nothing extra special...we had the 2 egg breakfast for around $5 and coffee. Coffee tasted watered down but the food and price was right.

The portions were small, the coffee was not good, and the food was not very good or as advertised. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 for atmosphere and service, which were better than the food. read more

Came here from Mass and ate here 3 times this past week. Food was AMAZING along with the service. They had our food ready within ten minutes of ordering. I recommend the chicken biscuit or the fish n chips if you want lunch. If you hate seafood, go with the chicken avocado sandwich for lunch or the French toast for breakfast. Talk about southern hospitality, the waites are amazing. Try the man-mosa. Orange juice and beer. While I didn't feel like a man after it, I did feel very happy after :) read more

Unlike many of the late-80s/early-90s-style restaurants that we've experienced in Myrtle Beach, Lulu's Cafe seems to be one of the few with a more contemporary atmosphere. The food was delicious (I recommend the Lulu's French Toast), the music was stellar, and service was top-notch. Also, it's within walking distance to many of the hotels on Ocean Blvd. read more

Scrumptious! We sat outside at picnic tables. Waiter was friendly, attentive and shared what he liked best. I had the biscuit sandwich which was just perfect - fluffy biscuit, sausage, egg and good old American cheese. My friend had the veggie scramble and fruit and said it was delicious. Especially liked that it came with only one slice of toast so she felt like it wasn't too much food. My husband had the biscuit with bacon, fried egg and sausage gravy and loved it. We order pancakes and split them between us. They were okay, nothing to rave about but good. The coffee was hot and our cups were kept full. A great experience overall. read more

We got here right when it opened at 7 am because we have small children who get up early. We had fabulous service and no wait time but there was only one other group in there besides us. The food was amazing! My husband had the big chicken biscuit and I had the Elvis French toast, both were absolutely fabulous! Still drooling thinking about that French toast. Great Value, Excellent Service, Good Food and Awesome view. We came here for breakfast; coffee was great and the server was really awesome. He was friendly, engaging and quick. We ordered the philly scramble, Biscuits n gravy, breakfast plate and french toast. All of us enjoyed the meal, the grits were great and none of us were able to finish. The prices are really outstanding, making this one of those great value places to go. We will return next time we are in Myrtle Beach. read more

Got into town after an all night drive, and stopped for breakfast. I had three eggs over medium, bacon, grits, wheat toast, and coffee. Everything was well prepared, hot, and served promptly. The only star downgrade was for whipped margarine and having real butter for the toast and grits. read more

Grabbed a quick bite here. Clean and cool on a hot day. Right on the beach road near hotels. Service was fast and the place wasn't too busy. Food was good and we liked the ice in their cups, crushed made the drinks super cold on a hot day. Only feedback is the house music plays a bit too loud for families. Lulus is an awesome little joint right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. My girlfriend and I went here for my birthday lunch and had a killer crab cake sandwich and pimento grilled cheese. Open from 7am-2pm. They were kind enough to seat us at 1:40 and let us stay as long as we liked. The blackened grouper fish tacos were the best I've ever had. The fish tasted freshly caught. A lovely light siracha cream sauce with a bit of avocado made these fish tacos extra special. I like that pasta salad can be substituted for fries. If you get the fries though -it's an amazing experience: crispy outside with a melt-in-your-mouth inside. The fruit plate consisted of sweet honeydew and cantaloupe. I made my first visit to Lulu's tonight with 18 other locals. The food was good, love the atmosphere, but the service was truly the best! We had two servers and Robin was the server on my end of our large group. He was very efficient and organized. We never lacked for anything. I look forward to going again soon and trying some of the other unique menu choices available. GREAT!!! read more

We stopped theree last week when we got into town for vacation. Ordered our food which was ok. We got the bill and it was over $100.00 as we looked it over i noticed the waiter had put in a 18% tip for himself. We did have a group of eight but nowhere did it say parties over eight will be charged a 18% gratituity. Also ther tax supposedly is only 9% in Myrtlr Beach but we were charged 11.5% in tax. I think this place was a ripoff and a scam. No other place charged us ths much. read more

This is one of my favorite stops when we visit M.B. Five of us had seafood for dinner and the bill was only $80 and that includes the tip! The seafood was very fresh and cooked perfect. We sat outside and enjoyed the awesome view and endless entertainment. read more

Although the restaurant was very clean and nice looking, when it came to the service I was disappointed on how long they took to take my order and deliver the food even though there weren't busy. When our food arrived it was cold, our toast was hard, my husband had to send back his pancakes due to how cold they were, our sausages were greasy and the fruit was soggy. I would not recommend or return here due to these aspects me and my family had encountered. read more
