Had the pleasure of visiting today and my 17month old loved every bit of it. The play areas are Loosely sectioned off and very clean. The staff was very friendly. The cafe and play areas are kid friendly and very colorful. Parking even with construction outside wasn't bad at all. There is a public lot and it's only 1.25 to park for two hours. I love it here. Ive been to other indoor play spaces and lulu's casita is just is perfect. This place is small enough that kids don't get overwhelmed by the options, and you can sit still in a comfy spot and watch them. I love the cozy simplicity of it - it manages to capture the essence of what a play space needs - a few fun gross motor spaces, and some toys that are different than the ones your child has at home. Voila! perfect place for a mom who just needs to take her kids somewhere out of the house! Even better, it is so affordable and the owners/employees are so sweet and lovely. .. This place makes me feel like there is hope for the Main Line. The play area is both adorable and immaculate. The cafe has food so good you won't want to share with your kiddos: La Colombe coffee, empanadas, and the best kale chips (provided by local eatery The Tasting Room - also in Ardmore on Lancaster) Seriously, who knew kale chips were so good? And there is a bit of Latin flair added to everything. Story time in both English and Espagnol, artwork, even Santa Claus was wearing cowboy boots when I was there. Check this place out. read more

We love Lulu's! Though it can get a little packed/crazy as the day wears on. Our toddler is quite pleased with all the goings-on there, and it's been a nice change of scenery when the weather is icky or we just need to get out of the house. Highly recommend! read more

Came here for the first time today with my 25 month old and 3 month old. The staff here was incredibly helpful and friendly in helping me juggle the two when I was coming in and checking out. Maneuvering the stairs with a toddler and a snap and go would have been difficult without their help, but someone greeted me as soon as I opened the door and came up to help. In addition to the wonderful play areas and toys for my toddler, there was a quieter area for my baby in the back, designated the mothers station, which includes a large, comfortable nursing glider. I felt comfortable leaving my baby there under a toy bar for a few minutes and keeping my eye on both the babies. I really don't have much to add to the existing reviews. I highly recommend this adorable, friendly, affordable play space for young tots. read more

Came here for a birthday party today and I have to say this place is awesome! Friendly staff, very clean - you can tell they take this very seriously with having endless amounts of purell around for guests, and signs along with large baskets to put any toys that may have gotten dirty (ie small children that put things into their mouths) so the staff may clean. Coming from NY, I've been to similar play places up here where they don't take such care with this, so this made me happy to see. Plenty of things for the littles to do to keep themselves busy and an area for parents to hang out in to give the kids space to be free and be kids. My daughter particularly liked the lego wall. I absolutely love the decor too - kid friendly but very tastefully done. I should also mention the bathrooms and how clean they were - AND maybe not a big deal but the toilet seat had 2 separate lids, one normal 'adult size' and one smaller one for small children. This is huge for potty training children - no worrying about them falling into the toilet when nature calls. I would recommend this place to anyone considering having a party here or just to visit. Next time we're in town we'll definitely be back! read more

You know how, as a parent of a toddler, it's not fun to go to a cafe for a coffee and a light snack because you are constantly getting up to wrangle your toddler who does not want to sit at the table for more than 5 minutes or your newly crawling baby wants to crawl across a dirty floor? Well Lulu's Casita is the perfect place for parents and for babies/toddlers. It feels like visiting a friendly, inviting, kid friendly home. There is a large play area of several nooks of different play spaces, including a slide, blocks, books, trains, a ball bit, ride on toys and arts. Then there is a fence and gate separating the play area from the cafe. So you can actually sit down and enjoy a coffee or a light snack (muffin, sandwhich, salad) whilst watching your child. If your child needs assistance you are just a few feet away to assist. Lulu's policy is that you are allowed to bring your lidded cup of coffee into the play area (the coffee was not super scorching hot) and the clever folks at Lulu's even have shelves up high in the play area, where you can rest your coffee whilst chasing after your little one. The play area also has several comfy couches and even a lovely nursing mothers' area, complete with boppy and recliner. The feng shui of this place is extremely calming and soothing (unlike some kids' play places which are over bright and over stimulating). My 3 year old son is a very active child and in most open places eg regular cafes, usually runs around, but in Lulu's he was completely focussed on the toys and play equipment...the magic of Lulu's. Everyone must remove their shoes upon arrival, which means the floor of the cafe and play area is as clean as possible, so it's perfect for crawling babies and toddlers who like to roll around. And they even play adult music. I went there with my husband and 3 year old son. Our original plan was to stay until it was time to go and get dinner. But we decided to stay for a light dinner of sandwhiches, yoghurt, soup, salad and muffins. This is literally the first time I've been able to sit down and finish my meal when we have eaten out, since having a child. Bravo to Lulu's Casita who have created a unique and relaxing space for parents and young children alike. We will definitely return upon our next visit to Philly. read more

We took our 20 month old, and had a wonderful time! The ball pit was great fun, and the staircase up to the slide was popular. The entire floor is padded, so it's great for novice walkers. It feels like you're in someone's house in a giant playroom, that you don't have to clean! It's a nice option to have coffee and food, and the bathrooms are very clean. A great place to bring toddlers, especially on a cold wet day. We will definitely return! Don't forget to wear socks, as they are mandatory, but they sell them up front , just in case. read more

This place was amazing on a rainy day!!! Lots of stimulating activities and toys. The kiddos loved it. There's a cafe for the adults and food that is actually decently priced. No outside food allowed. They put the price of the food and other beverages on your 'tab' and you pay at the end when you're ready to leave. Met some family here so they could see my daughter and also sit to have a bite and talk. For my 2 year old who does not sit still for a second, this was the perfect place. They had a ton of things for the kiddos to play with and my daughter loved the huge train set and the kitchen. The staff was very kind and helpful and I was pleased to know that admission was good all day, even if you leave and come back. I only wish I lived in Ardmore again! The cafe was cute and at first I was a little disappointed by selection of items, but after eating the sandwich I got, it was delicious. I even tried my daughter's cheese quesadilla and the tortilla tasted authentic. What a great idea to have a fabulous play place for kids 6 and under. Great job Lulu's! read more

I went back today for the third time, and I am still a fan! While I still cringe at paying $8 to play, it is certainly cleaner and more engaging than other local play areas where I have paid less, but suffered more (germs, big kids, boredom.) Also, they do have discounted admission for siblings on the day to day admission as well as the club cards, so fear not families with multiple children! Also- pro tip- go during nap times (mid-late afternoon.) It is much less chaotic than the morning toddler rush. read more

Totally love Lulu's, an open creative space where I get to relax while the little one not only plays but learns to socialize, share and is encouraged to be creative. Lulu's is one of a kind which is why it has become my go to place anytime friends or family visit. My nephew loved Lulu's so much he did not want to go back home :) too bad he lives in Chicago. We brought our girls (3yo, 9mo) here while visiting family in PA and had a great experience!!! I found it when searching for imagination playgrounds and it was an awesome find. The price was reasonable ($10 for kids over 1, $6.50 for crawlers) and they had a good menus for the kids and some great coffee for us. We happened to go on NYE for their party and it was such a treat to countdown to noon! A few suggestions would be to maybe limit number of kids for special events like that or require registration because it got crazy for the NYE party! It would also be cool to have enough balloons for every kid to leave with from the party. Also, I would have liked a designated nursing area. With so many dads in the room, I felt uncomfortable nursing my baby in the open areas. Please make sure to have some more trashcans around, possibly some wipes in the changing area or just to wipe down some of the bigger toys that the kids chew on (LOVED the baskets to put small toys to be sanitized) and please fill the sanitizers--- the one in the cafe was empty. Finally, it would be a HUGE HELP if you could LABEL coffees with names (or have a sharpie ready). With the wonderful shelves in the play area, I always had a place to put my coffee but wasn't sure if I was getting mine. All that aside, Lulus is TOTALLY WORTH a visit for any parents with small kids. Give yourself a moment to rest, enjoy some coffee and wifi, play with your kids. Then after they are all worn out, take them home for a nap while Lulu's takes care of the clean up! Thank you Lulus for a great time. We will for sure be back! read more

I went there for a party and was disappointed. The location is not big enough for a child's party especially if adults accompany the kids. The area to eat and mingle seems to hold 8 people comfortably. The owner was not helpful and walked around with shoes on while telling everyone else to take theirs off. They offered a pinata but said that the children could pull out a prize and not actually hit it for liability reasons. The host of the party was visibly surprised at this and you could tell that this was not discussed prior to the start of the party. They also dropped the birthday cake while taking it out of the box and tried to "fix" it. Also, the owner approached the host of the party to pay the bill while she was still talking to guests. read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Such a cozy, fun, and clean playplace for kids of all ages. My little girl (now 1 year old) loves it and when I moved to Ardmore from Arizona, Lulu's was (and still is) a great place to meet other moms. The owners are so nice and genuine. Made a visit to Lulu's in April after receiving referral from a friend who recently reserved birthday party. The receptionist, FiFi or GiGi, I cannot quite recall was RUDE. As I entered and made my way to reception area, I was never greeted. There were families in the reception area changing shoes and exiting. I stood at the reception desk invisible as everyone after me and those exiting were waited on. When FiFi finally acknowledged my presence, I inquired about play cafe membership, hours, party, tour etc. FiFi directed me to the website...LOL. She was very cold, unprofessional and did not offer to provide a tour but allowed me to self-tour. The facility is rather small and overpopulated with adults sitting along the walls and aisles. There are bright colors and lots of artificial light as Lulu's is located in the basement without windows. The children I stumbled upon appeared to be entertained but not exceptionally. The walk through took less than 1 minute. With windows this place is ok for winter play days or ocassional "parent and me" meetups however I am a big proponent of exposing children to nature and the good old fashioned playground. Thanks to the rude receptionist, the lack of natural light and insufficient play safe, I will not return to Lulu's. read more

Just as I was getting a little cabin fever while visiting my in-laws, I discovered Lulu's. Think of it as a cooler, more babyproof, more engaging version of your playroom at home. We had my son's 4th birthday party at Lulu's this past weekend, and I can't say enough good things about it. We did a joint party for him and his friend/classmate whose birthday was the same week. It was one of the most fun kids parties I've been to (and not just because it was for my own kid). I was worried the children would need a more structured playtime (like at a gym or bounce place), or get bored, but they had so much fun with the free play. They never stopped running around, and we had a hard time getting them to finish their pizza because they wanted to get back to playing. The ball pit was a favorite! The adults also enjoyed themselves, and were able to have a bite to eat and relax/mingle. Vivi was super helpful while we were planning the party, and the staff on the day-of were also great. I brought my 3 year old and 18 month old boys here for a play day on a rainy Friday. It's go a great location in Ardmore close to a public parking lot (don't forget your quarters!). Great layout with a café, closed in play area with a gate to keep the kiddies in, and ample clean bathrooms near the play area. I wish it had lockers to keep my diaper bag in while the kids played but there isn't a ton of space for that. I felt a little worried about hanging it on a wall hook or leaving it in the lounge area while they played. It had a really cute vibe, lots of fun toys for both age boys. This is a great place for kids under 5! Their favorite was the slide and ball pit. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and it was pretty busy for a weekday but still a lot of things to do to keep them entertained. My only real complaints were I thought it could be cleaner - especially the floor and pillows/chairs etc. They did offer Clorox wipes near the play area but no one used them while I was there for 2 hours. Also, I really wish that people followed the rules and didn't allow their kids to run around without socks on. The rule is socks in the play area and if you don't bring them, buy them. I saw at least 5 kids with no socks on and that was kind of gross. Otherwise, I will definitely be returning soon! Staff was super friendly, told me all about their Pizza night and told me my $16 would allow me to come back later in the day however I didn't because my kids had so much fun they were tired! read more
