Patio Productions is a showroom located in Midtown with various outdoor furniture. They have indoor and outdoor areas where you can sit on the various furniture and look at color samples. I actually have really enjoyed my experience there both times, as they don't pressure or rush you. Someone typically offers assistance, and they let you walk around and look. Also, you can grab a soda water or a beer as you stroll around. A couple years ago, we purchased a wicker table with a glass top and matching chairs, also with Sunbrella fabric cushions and a matching umbrella from patio productions. It has been great quality and hasn't faded or chipped in the weather, despite that we have left it out the entire time. That time, our delivery date got pushed back a couple times, which was a little bothersome and we were wondering when the furniture would arrive. It did arrive and has been a great set for our outdoor dining. This time, we selected an aluminum patio set (sofa, loveseat, and two chairs) with matching Sunbrella fabric cushions, and furniture covers for everything. The experience was great and the furniture was delivered exactly on our requested date. They even had our selected Sunbrella color in stock. I love that the furniture came securely wrapped, but the delivery is curbside, and they do not take off the backing material. For us, it took two people with a knife and a pair of scissors 30 minutes to unpack... not to mention three large trash bags were filled with plastic packing material. Aside from the unpacking, we are very happy with the set and it looks really beautiful on our back patio. All in all, Patio Productions is a lovely showroom with lots of options and I recommend checking it out if you are looking for high quality patio furniture.

He did the exact opposite. He jacked up the prices unbelievably and when we did need to return something, he made it impossible to return it saying that there was a 35% restocking fee and that we would need to pay for shipping to send it back. The item was a linear drain for the shower and he sold it to us for $1,000. I looked up the prices when we decided that it wouldn't work and most vendors sold the same linear drain for half the price. He never told us how difficult it is to work with glass tiles and how easily they shatter and crack. He never told us that we shouldn't use glass tiles in small spaces. We should have received a discount because we were working with a builder. We could have received a different discount because my husband is a veteran. We might have even been eligible for a discount because we are senior citizens. He kept telling us that time was of the essence because prices were going up every day. At least we didn't fall under that pressure to buy quickly. I live in a highrise of 385 units. Many of my friends and acquaintances were interested in hearing about our bathroom renovation. When we tell the stories about what we went through for the remodel they now know from whom they should not buy any supplies.

In particular, they had some beautiful walnut slabs. I wanted to create a coffee table, and I found the perfect slab, a figured maple. Nate offered to finish it for me, which was perfect since I wouldn't have done it justice myself. He also talked me out of staining it, which was absolutely the right call. Honestly, looking at it now I can't believe I ever considered it. It came out so beautiful, I can't help but to keep staring at it. It's gorgeous, like a work of art. The pictures really do not do it justice. It's going to look amazing in my new living room. I could not be happier with my experience and the finished product. Highly recommend Made Lumber!

I work for a design company, and we sourced a large walnut slab here for a client of ours to be…read moremade into a dining table. We contacted Made Lumber and thought everything was going smoothly, until our fabricator noticed after the slab was planed that it was in fact warped at one end. We investigated for a long time trying to figure out the cause- did our fabricator mess up? Did the wood have too much moisture in it? Was it planed incorrectly? After talking with our fabricator, Made Lumber, and the planer, we found out that the slab was originally warped, or had a "twist" to it, and had left Made Lumber that way. They even had a photo of it on its way to our fabricator (which was sent later), and you can clearly see the warp. Before it was planed, Made Lumber recommended us to a planer they use often who had a CNC, but our slab was too big for this machine, so instead they recommended another place that had a wide belt sander that would fit our slab. There was no mention that the slab had a twist this entire time. We took it to the place with the wide belt sander and from there it went to our fabricator, who noticed the warp. Now, Made Lumber refuses to reimburse us in any way or take any sort of responsibility for the warp, or "twist". First they blamed the wide belt sander they recommended, saying it wasn't planed correctly. Then, they said it's our fault because we didn't use the CNC (which wouldn't fit our slab) because this apparently "would have taken out the twist," although other carpenters have begged to differ on this point. If Made Lumber knew our slab had a twist (which they did), and thought that only a CNC would have gotten it out (debatable), then it would have been honorable for them to mention before we purchased it and say "hey, this slab has a twist, and the wide belt sander that we recommended won't get this twist out" but they didn't. We now are down $6000 on a slab that can't be used for our client, and it can't be re-planed because it would be too thin. Needless to say, we will not be sourcing from them or recommending them.
