Pizza can be quite good, depending on the day. However, there are a couple of issues that make me reconsider my pizzeria choice. Firstly, the person who answers the phone was quite inattentive. I had to say my pizza orders 3 times before she understood, and she still messed up the pizza! I understand that some people have off days, but this has happened multiple times. Second, I ordered garlic on my pizza and there was little to no garlic on the pizza. Same with the bacon. Very disappointed in this restaurant lately. Employees seem aloof and distant. read more

This place was good when it opened. Now there are a bunch of goofs working there who don't care if they run the business into the ground. Few weeks ago ordered a delivery of willow tree chicken salad. Bit into my sandwich and got a weird taste; it was tuna fish! God I wasn't expecting that. They remade my sandwich and I took a bite...it was not willow tree. It was disgusting. Last night ordered two orders of chicken nuggets. Got them, they had obviously been re-fried. They were as hard as rocks, burnt and disgusting. Didn't even bother calling. They really need to fire the manager and the rude phone girl. When it opened, it was phenomenal. The food is great as long as they get your order right. I've gone here many times and loved it until recently. The past three times my order has been wrong and nothing was done to satisfy there mistake but to have me wait even longer. I tried their weiners with meat sauce and onions and french fries. Both were just OK and not tasty in any way. I asked for a glass of ice water with my meal and they charged me $2.50 for it. I've never been charged for a glass of water at any other restaurant. I will not be back here! read more

I recently have moved into the area and there is not a plethora of restaurants surrounding me. I am used to pizza chains and getting generic pizza. But this place is pretty sweet. We ordered pizza from this local so-called favorite for first time. We ordered large pepperoni/ mushroom-black olive pizza, Greek salad and buffalo wings. The only fair item to report was the Greek salad which was average but large portion. The pizza honestly was so very disappointing. The whole toppings slid off the terrible , non tasty dough . definitely made by automated process. terrible food quality and lack of taste. the wings were huge, under cooked and bland. Have been next door to Gators many times and the two share ownership and parking lots. I cannot recommend this pizza to anyone. so disappointing even though lovely family ownership. they need to truly focus on food quality , hire new chefs, redo recipes etc. gators for cocktails and beers and simple comfort food is better although the gators wings this time were terrible. Jeez where to start. I used to order a lot before the past few months on inconsistencies, until I went in to pick up my food one day and there's no manager on site to talk to but a cook who seemed to handle situations quite well. The following week I met the "manager" of the establishment and god what a joke of a role he plays there. I think we're going to be taking a break from Lumberjack's for a while. We've been ordering from here for a few years, and while it's owned by the same people that own Gator's, the service is not the same. I literally cannot think of a single time in the last six months that we've gotten what we actually ordered. Their delivery can also be hit or miss - sometimes, they'll be here in 15 minutes on a busy Saturday night but take an hour on a random Wednesday. Let me say this - the food is good, and when you get what you wanted, it's consistently good. They offer a lot of toppings and you can order your pizza a ton of different ways. Their salads are HUGE and full of meat, cheese, etc. I just really wish they were more accurate. Yesterday evening, we ordered a pizza and two subs. The pizza was right, but each of the subs were wrong. Mine was supposed to be cold and dry with a side of vinegar. It came toasted, with toppings I didn't ask for, and mayo. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered one kind of sub and got a completely different kind and it was a wrap instead of on grinder bread. I'm pretty sure that this is NOT the fault of the people making the food, but the people taking the orders. It almost always seems our call is taken by a young woman who has never read the menu in her life. It's like she's never heard of what we're ordering, even though it's straight off their menu. I had to work late one night and needed food for myself and a couple of guys. Ordered a pizza for them and a chicken parm for me. The girl on the phone told me it would be about thirty minutes. The only reason I ordered from them is that I work about five minutes away. Forty minutes later I call to find out where our food was. This time she tells me that it is on its way out the door. Twenty minutes later it finally shows up. I work five minutes away. I give the pizza to the guys and open up my sandwich. They sent me what looked like a Philly steak with lettuce and tomato. I ordered a chicken parm. The pizza looked like it was sent thru the oven a second time to reheat it. I called to get the price of the sandwich refunded to my cc. Was told it would take 24-48 hours to go thru, it has been three days. Just going to dispute the whole charge now. Never even thinking of ordering or going there again. Pure garbage. read more

Good pizza, but crust is sometimes burnt and chewy. If it were more consistent it would get 4 stars.

It appears quantity has become more important that quality. My last experience was ordering a lg. margarita pizza. The result was a large dough but a small topping. There was at least 2-3 inches of crust along the outside of the pizza. I was dining in with my wife but it was delivered to the table in a box. I soon realized why. Just not going back. read more
