I started going there with my mother many years ago and the food was amazing. My wife and I had dinner there for our engagement dinner and the food was really good. We were there today, May 26, 2026. The salad didn't even have tomatoes or onions. The calamari was horrible. Nothing like it used to be tasted like sodium my chicken Parm was thin and flavorless all I could taste with salt. This was an okay small town Italian restaurant. I had the Chicken A La Rosa. It was ok but really nothing special. It was served hot and had flavor. The sauce was a little overpowering compared to the rest of the dish. The service was ok. The server was attentive and friendly. However the little touches just were not present. For example this establishment is BYOB and instead of uncorking the bottle, the server just left the corkscrew on the table for us to use. At the end of the meal instead of boxing our leftovers, she left the containers for us to do the boxing. The bottom line is the at this restaurant is serviceable but nothing special. read more

Decided to try again after not going here for 5-6 years. Lunch service was extremely slow. Took 15 minutes to place an order even though there were only a few patrons. Ordered two pizzas. Both arrived cold. Waitress was either not notified by the pizza maker or they sat for a while until the solo waitress picked them up. Heard the business was sold a while ago to the owners of the mall pizza restaurant called Cafe Rivera at the Neshaminy Mall. The original owners put out a far superior pizza. We have really tried to continue to give this spot our business. We like to support family run, independent, small businesses. Out of the 6 times we have placed a to-go order we have been disappointed 5 of those times. It's either a missing salad, no bread, or spices added when we requested plain due to allergies. The worst is calling our order in 40 minutes ahead so the meal is ready for pickup on my husbands way home from work for him to arrive and be told the never got an order.....this has happened twice. May 2025: I'm here to tell you about their brick oven pizza. Yes, you can get your favorite Italian dishes, all prepared spectacularly by Ernesto. But recently I discovered their brick oven baked pizza. It is absolutely amazing. They use some kind of light flour that doesn't make you feel all stuffed. It is light, crisp, and very tasty. Also they put on a generous amount of plum tomato sauce which gives an intense tomato taste. An amazing combination of textures and great ingredients. One word of advice: If you order a brick oven baked pizza, plan on eating it as soon as it comes out of the oven. Eat it there. Luberto's has been a family tradition for us for years as we used to live in the area. We moved but decided to try it again on Fri. We both got Entrees- chicken parm and the salmon special. Very friendly staff and BYOB. The side salad was basically lettuce and a few croutons. WOW - disappointing. The chicken parm was just ok but very little sauce, the salmon the same way . The reviews and photos were more impressive than the ambiance. The pizza crust is excellent, on the thinner side with well done crust but chewy. The portion sizes are excellent. I was very unhappy with the scampi sauce tastes pre-made and way too much for the pasta portion, which was slightly undercooked. Could not be happier with our catered Christmas meal. Picked up on 12/24 and was provided with perfect reheating instructions for the next day. Delicious chicken picatta, penne with vodka sauce, and IMO the best meatballs ever. Can't wait to enjoy the leftovers. The food is good, but the salad that comes with the pasta meals consists only of lettuce and croutons, nothing else, just lettuce. A side salad usually includes tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, etc. Very disappointing. read more

Food is pretty good, The soups are great, when the flavors are. There soup of the day is eaither cash or trash. I love the potato chowder and chicken bisque, but so would not recommend sausage and beans or seafood. I wish they made the better flavors more. There chicken cheesesteak is good, but a little dry. I'm new to the area and noticed the very busy Luberto's Trattoria. On 9/27 I decided to pick up a pie to take home. We had decided on vegetarian pie but wanted it custom (wanted peppers and mushrooms and NO broccoli.) Was told no problem so we ordered. It was ready really quickly and all the while the cook smiled at us. Maybe it was quick because he gave us one he had in progress? Not sure but it was NOT the pie we wanted, it was their vegetarian "norm" (with broccoli). Cannot even complain about the flavor of the ingredients but more so the quantity of them... what there was. The crust was a bit too thin (so bottom becomes soggy with baking) and there were NO peppers. IF we go back it will not be for their pizza. If they didn't allow custom orders I'd understand. Didn't even bring us water. People came in after us and were waited on. We decided to take our business elsewhere and got up and left. No one said a word to us. Came in with a friend last week and we're promptly seated. Then promptly forgotten about. I noticed others being seated and attended to by their server. It took at least 10 minutes for our server to show up. Ordered drinks and server disappeared. The other table received their meal before we had a chance to order ours. 15 minutes later our meal ( both salads) came out. 15 minute for salads!!! After finishing we sat another 10 minutes waiting for the server to return when we notice her playing with her phone at the counter. The second ti my e we looked she wait counting her tips . I finally had to get up to get her attention that we were ready to leave. And we were really ready to leave after the lack of service. The whole experience took 1 hour and twenty minutes. Ordered a Ribeye steak to go. I thought it would be high quality for $30. It was mainly gristle and tough and no bone. I also was shocked that the vegetables were not put into separate containers but under the steak. This was embarrassing to the restaurant. There are a lot of chefs in the area of Bucks and when they receive this...they say never again. $30 skimpy on the sides too and a boring salad. I can make it myself better. Love Lubertos. BYOB, military discount, really good Italian food, prompt pleasant service. Nice dining atmosphere. Price points are very reasonable for really good food. Inside clean as a whistle. Entree comes with a fresh salad and baked fresh bread. Love their bread. Desserts are brought in , in portioned containers tried them once I wouldn't recommend them. I'm always mystified when a restaurant brings in pre packaged desserts, when there is a bakery across the street. Another place we frequent does the same.
