    Pancit with mushy vegetables yuk!
    Richard W.

Tried this place today. I was looking for something different. Since I've been in the Philippines a few times back in the day. Ordered the three meat pancit bihon and Shanghai lumpia. The pancit was the worst I've ever eaten. The meat had no flavor and the vegetables were too mushy. In my experience the vegetables in pancit are just lightly cooked and still a little crispy but not this, they were more like stewed. I only ate about three spoons of it. The lumpia was adequate. The mushy viggies made it inedible so no, I'm no going back.

Stopped by for some Filipino food. Just got back to Corpus Christi, so hadn't been here before. Stopped by a little before noon, and there were a few tables already seated. Wanted to get in and go, but the food took a little time to get prepared and brought to the table. Only one person was taking the phone orders, seating customers, taking orders, and bringing the food out...all while making sure refills on drinks were done. The food came out fine. The chicken adobo was good, although I would have liked it cooked a little longer. The Pancit is good. The others in the restaurant really should help the lone woman carrying the bill of the front end of the restaurant duties. Maybe have the kitchen staff take the phone orders or something. The restaurant is somewhat dark inside. A little more lighting would be great! Overall, everyone was nice and the lunch was good. Thank you.

Service was 10/10 and food was 100/10. The atmosphere was very peaceful when we went for lunch. I added a before and after to show how the food looks and how we can put it away

As soon as we walked in we were greeted, everything was absolutely amazing!! From the food to the views to the service, we reccomend and definitely intend to come back to try everything on the menu at least once. My bf had the honey chili chicken and I had the lunch special. It's also BYOB so I did bring my own dressed smirnoff.

Always delicious! My fav is the Pancit Bihon. Cooked well and flavored. Chicken and shrimp were delicious though they could add a few more shrimp and veggies.

Coming from California where there is a plethora of amazing authentic Filipino restaurants, I was truly disappointed to see that a restaurant that claims to be "authentic" would serve Halo Halo this way. I give it credit for trying though. Where is the Ube ice cream? Instead we were served ube jam. Also, for $8 I was surprised to see when digging through the ice cubes, mind you, halo halo is typically served with shaved ice... like a snow cone, there were only about 3-4 pieces of each jello! I counted about 5 pieces of the Nata de Coco, about a couple pieces of the tapioca (sago), 2-3 pieces of the green & red palm fruit, and a couple bits of white beans. They didn't skimp out on the jackfruit though. It was already difficult trying to dig through all the unshaved ice because it was about 95% ice and 5% filling. Disappointing honestly. I know halo halo can be made in various ways, you can add different kinds of fillings like sweet caramelized banana, flan, etc... but the simple toppings that was given that I just named isn't an excuse for how much was lacking in what was served. To compensate because I didn't get that "feeling" of content, we went to the store and bought our own supplies to make it the correct way and honestly my husband would have preferred to pay $8 for the one I made versus the one we got here. Never again!

Excellent food and service! Lumpias were very tasty as was my main dish. Waitress was very attentive to us. Definitely returning to eat there!

Love the food, some good homemade authentic Filipino food. Portions sizes are large and you will not leave hungry. The fresh lumpia hits the spot.

Authentic, small, quaint. Friendly staff. Good food for fair price. I prefer the Flour Bluff location though.

Will not eat here again. Management refused to add a certain noodle to my entree even after charging me an up charge. Really.

Filipino-inspired noodle dishes (pancit, here's lookin' at you!), tightly rolled and deliciously fried lumpia, fantastic pulled pork nachos, fresh mango and papaya spring rolls... they seem to do it all, and really hit the flavors out of the park. Sold out of fried Brussels sprouts when we arrived before 8pm. Thought we would be able to at least order fried rice with a fried egg, and was looking forward to more that they offered like the fried bananas since the menu items previewed from their Facebook page. To be honest we all wish we ordered the chicken nuggets and fries kids meal. Was like Burger King. We felt extremely ripped off by the $9 "pulled pork bowl" that was mostly rice and cabbage and "outlined" in pulled pork. So sad. Was extremely disappointed that the $5 egg rolls were skimpy. Just completely not a good value.
