But this place had a great selection as well as a small spicy chart (1-5) on the menu. Choose your spiciness! Phenomenal decision especially in the Midwest leaning seem to be spice avoidant. The restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming. We had an attentive and knowledgeable server which I appreciate as we were in a long haul trip. Amazing food and amazing service. This place has high review with good reason. They are also very generous with their portions. I purchased a small Tum Yum soup and they gave me four shrimp with it. That is a massive plus. Other places would given me two. I still think that is reasonable for a bowl, but the fact they gave more is kind of them. I was staying at a nearby hotel chain off the highway out of convenience for an early client meeting and didn't want to venture out far for food as I was already tired, and run into this little gem !!! The Tom Yum with tofu was very flavorful with the right sourness and crisp tomato slices that added a very nice touch. Very good! The pad thai and red curry were really nice flavors. For gluten free we specified steamed tofu instead of fried tofu. The staff were very conscientious of diners and the many pick up orders. The restaurant has an intimate feel with a nice vibe and decor. We went to Marigold Thai for the first time and had a great experience! They were kind enough to reserve a table on Mother's Day for my son and fiancé's engagement luncheon. The chicken pad Thai was wonderful and the Marigold Fried Rice was tasty! My daughters got the spicy and loved it. The salad that comes with the entrees was great as well as the spring rolls. The service was excellent and, although it's a smaller restaurant and had a cozy atmosphere, it was preferred on this occasion to a larger, noisy restaurant. One of my absolute favorite go-to restaurants! Spent my 50th birthday here and everything was on point!! The service is excellent and the food is amazing! We really enjoy the wontons, crispy spring rolls, chicken penang, drunken noodles with beef and the garlic fried rice!! When it's a rainy day or we are really hungry it is our go to, and most of the time they really know how to spice things up!! The restaurant is small but cozy and they are happy to walk you through the menu, whether seasoned veteran or total noob. I wish I had pics but we devoured everything! It is a typical Thai place with a typical time menu, so there's nothing particularly outstanding or different about that aspect. What was amazing to me was the flavor of the food. I eat a lot of Thai food, and I have been to a lot of places that claim to have Thai food. This stuff was just seasoned perfectly, cooked, perfectly, presented perfectly, and absolutely what I was really hoping to have for lunch. I went off the beaten path a little bit and ordered the broccoli and garlic dish, and my son ordered the drunken noodles. Both were fantastic. On top of all that, the server was attentive and friendly. It is kind of hard to get to because of construction that is going on around it, but it is well worth the effort to get there. Unfortunately, this place is a little bit of a distance from my home, but I think I will come back anyway because it was really just that good. I didn't take any pictures because there are plenty of pictures out there of the stuff that we had, but trust me this is the real deal. read more

Why do all the great Thai restaurants have to be hole in the wall joints? This little gem is in a strip mall and could easily go unnoticed. The staff are welcoming, attentive and helpful. The food was awesome! We have been twice now and it was great both times. The pad stir fry was yummy, the pad garlic sublime, the drunken noodles were stellar - I think the best I ever had. Portion sizes are nice too. The place is clean to be sure but the ambience a little lacking. Hopefully, if they continue to be successful, they can invest in some nicer booths.
