Oh luna, I only spent two years living up there, but every time i go back I stop in. I love the river trail cookies, and the fudgsicle and the funky monkey. This place has a unique feel. At times it's full of students, other times full of locals catching up over a non starbucks cup of coffee. All their food items are yummy. And i have never had a bad beverage either. Probably my favorite coffee shop ever. And i would consider myself a coffee shop whore. I have worked for starbucks and loved it, and when I visit towns i seek out small local places, and this place still takes the cake. read more

A delightful little coffeeshop that also roasts their own beans in the back. My first visit was wonderful--almond joy mocha and a bagel egg sandwich done on a panini grill, both of which were great. The ambiance is wonderful, too: lots of tables and a bar along both sides, mellow artwork and exposed brick, non-offensive music played at a conversational level. Also, a really nice retail selection of coffee gear and accessories, bulk teas (Rishi), and beans (their own). I only wish they were a) down the street from my house b) open later c) served wine and beer by the glass all the time (because sometimes you caffeine just isn't what you're looking for). read more

This is the best coffee shop in the Green Bay area by far. It doesn't matter what you order because everything on their menu is very good. Luna coffee is some of the best coffee I have ever had. The atmosphere of Luna is very friendly and welcoming and they even hang local artists' work on the walls that they change out regularly. Cute little coffee shop in quaint de Pere. Love the way the light looks in here in the morning coming through the yellow awnings outside. The bakery is great and they roast their own coffee. There's a small area of items for sale and also art hanging on the walls. Would like to see more art here. Another thing I love about this place are the flowers on the table. Luna is amazing! Wonderful coffee and delicious food every time we visit. I went in today (extremely busy because of Luke's diner event). The owner and staff were extremely accommodating to my child in a wheelchair. I wasn't sure how it would be accessible because there is a step going in the front door. They have a little portable ramp they put out for us. We had the best time having coffee and quiche at Luke's, I mean Luna's. read more

The cutest local coffee place ever. And I'm from Seattle so that's saying something. Stopped in on a Thursday morning at 9:15 and the line was long - something tells me this place is always busy. I had a ham/sweet potato piece of quiche with a non fat latte and it was delish. Not cheap - at $9 - but very good. The building is historic which is cool. The decor fits perfectly - big cozy leather chairs, tables and chairs, a bar with high chairs. This place is bustling with a wide array of every type of person in Green Bay. This cafe roasts their own beans, bakes everything fresh, lots of seating space, after hours events...basically it has exactly the atmosphere that you look for in a local cafe. Drinks are ALWAYS perfect, the selection is huge, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I live out of town now, but I was here almost every day when I liked in De Pere. Luna coffee is by far the best batch-roasted coffee in town. I lived in San Francisco for two years, and regularly sampled the coffee from at least a dozen of the best coffee houses in the world, and Luna stands head to head with any of them (actually, it is better than most of them). Owner Mark Patel is a perfectionist who has made roasting an art form. The atmosphere at Luna Cafe is great too, with excellent music and art on the walls...catch one of the regular musical performances by artists both local and national. Great Roastery. I have found Luna's Espresso Bean to be superior and equivalent or better to beans I have purchased from many nationally known roasters. The Decaf Espresso Bean is great, and Luna has gotten it right each time I have purchased it, which is outstanding as getting the roast right with decaf is a lot less forgiving. I am fortunate to live, right across the river. So, we love stopping in there. I love that they are always so nice to my toddler, and make her the perfect little hot chocolate when we go in. We ONLY brew Luna coffee at home, and it is always a perfect gift. I like to be the one to run for the coffee so I can get myself a Full Moon (Mint Mocha), for a little treat for myself. Simply the best. You will not find more passion, flavor, quality, or caffeinated happiness anywhere else in northeast Wisconsin.

The rising tide of Starbucks seems to have lifted almost all boats in the ocean of coffee shops, so the rarity of finding acceptable coffee that characterised so much of the US in years past has declined significantly. Finding myself in deepest, coldest Wisconsin in dire need of caffeine I hardly gave a second thought that Luna Coffee would be acceptable. But when the aroma of on-site roasting came through the door I realised that Luna is not the average Coffee shop. This was clinched by one of the best lattes ever (in a huge ceramic cup) and a fantastic sour cherry and cardamom muffin sat at the counter in the very attractive brick walled space. Add in the cheery staff and the every friendly Wisconsin clientele, and Luna Coffee has to be the best breakfast stop in the neck of the woods read more
