I've been here a couple of times and the service was great, and food was delicious, this was my favorite place for breakfast, but lately the service in the morning is not the best, they say it's open at 6 am but when you are there they use to be late and you can go in until like 6:15. We used to love chilaquiles here, but the other day my family ordered their chilaquiles and the cheese wasn't melted well and food was a little dry, in the past they use to put a good amount of sauce. Also the waitress didn't offered the meat, and when we asked for chicken he forgot about it and when the waitress came and gave us the chicken after a long time it looked uncooked in the middle. Besides this experience I recommend to go in the afternoon there is some others waitresses which can give you a better experience. read more

The service was slow when the restaurant was empty. Ordered the French dip, was missing peppers and horseradish mayo, I asked for it to be fixed, they returned it with the peppers and say they didn't have the horseradish mayo. Was told the manager/boss would discount it... never discounted it and didn't care that they didn't serve what was stated on the menu. Lovely local place with a fantastic breakfast, wonderful walleye, great burgers..and good service. Check their hours before going if mid-late in the day. The only day they are open after 2 is possibly Fridays (for fish). Also note, they don't serve alcohol. My favorite dish by far is their stuffed beef streak tomato with chicken salad. It comes with loads of fresh melons, grapes, cucumbers, hard boiled egg, cottage cheese and 2 slices of cinnamon raisin toast. read more

If I had to recommend this place to someone I would do it to people I never wanted to talk to again. We were seated relatively fast and our server came over and took our drink order very fast. After we ordered our food came out pretty quickly and I look down to a short black hair in my food. After alerting our server I messed with the food to ensure it was remade and when it came out the second time I look down and to my horror there's a long white hair in it. I have brown hair and am a woman. I felt physically ill and can only imagine how many people have ingested other people's DNA. We called for a manager and the KITCHEN manager came out and could not understand what we were trying to say and tried to remake it a THIRD time. When we said no he tried to box up the hairy food TO GO. LIKE I WOULD WANT THAT???? our server was fantastic so shout out to him cause he just had us leave. We were not going to pay for it anyways but he was very very helpful. To sum it up if anyone has a kink for unwillingly getting unknown germs this is the place for you. Hard to rate it any higher due to slow service, messed up orders, and poor quality food. In for brunch on a Wednesday with friends. Ordered the open face hot turkey sandwich, which photo and description showed with mashed potatoes and gravy. Arrived with a baked potato, which I have never seen associated with a hot turkey sandwich. Tried to get the server back but he just dropped everything on the table and left, never to be seen again. Hostess finally brought us our bill. Lots of elderly looking for a lot of food for the money, but the quality isn't there. read more

The Cafe at Bellevue offers diner type food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is roomy and clean. The wait staff was busy but very efficient and attentive. The menu was extensive but not too overwhelming. I decided to have the Denver omelet with fried potatoes. My wife selected eggs with sausage and pancakes, a traditional breakfast. If I had to sum up the food, I would say average. The omelette was plain and needed more spicing, as with all the food including the fried potatoes. Plain food, nothing special. My wife's pancakes were average. The food reminded me of plain home cooking, nothing special. If you are looking for good food without a lot of extras, try the Cafe at Bellevue, just keep the salt and pepper close. read more

Wonderful food and fantastic service. Only open for breakfast and lunch, so don't go for dinner here! I had daily special of Swedish meatballs, served with real mashed potatoes, and gravy. their soup of the day was excellent and when I asked for a side of steamed broccoli, they fixed it quickly and the portion was very generous. Today is Mothers Day , I have never been ignored and treated so badly especially on a Holiday at a Restaurant! Our entire table of ladies were ignored by our older Male Server , nothing was mentioned about Mother's Day to any of us ladies from anyone and my son was even with me. This is my 3 rd time at this place and my last ! 3X your out ! The first time I was with my mother , I had asked for a few extra creamers for coffee and he had said to me "I will bring you a carton of milk then charge you for it!" Are you kidding me ?! The second time I was also with my mother, and had bad service again . We were never checked up on , and Very rude service by the same man ! And this last time today being Mother's Day , all of the tables around us we're getting served graciously as well as refilling, coffee etc. when he came to take our order, he told us how to order ! we weren't allowed to give him our drink order before telling him what food items we wanted , Extremely rude! Then he forgot an add-on of mine and said "it's gonna go to the back of line and you will never get it. Do you want to cancel it ?" I said yes! How is this my fault you did not put in my order correctly! Of course then just went downhill after that we were completely ignored. We did not get refills on water or coffee, or checked up on the entire rest of our meal. I will never come back to this place again and I will never recommend it to anyone I hope they go out of business. This was awful! I've never felt so insulted on Mother's Day in my life! I walked in with two hungry college students and was able to feed them and myself as well as get two orders to-go for $45 - great prices and quality food. Probably really good for lunch too but I can't seem to order anything other than the breakfast because it's so wonderful. My wife says it is the best Mexican skillet in Green Bay. The Cafe is a brand new restaurant that's nearby my work. It used to be Sgambiti's and I'm just amazed the changes they made. It's much more bright and inviting. The easiest way to describe this place is a local version of a Perkins or Dennys. You can get breakfast all day and for lunch and dinner they serve a lot of burgers and sandwiches. The first time I went there, I got a meat lovers omelet with American fries. The portions were HUGE! The only thing that threw me off was the cheese...it tasted like your processed nacho cheese or something. The second time I had lunch and ordered the cowboy burger. Wow that was a big burger...was only able to eat half of it. Instead of fries , I asked if I could substitute it with cheese curds. They were able to do that and only charged me an extra $1. The curds weren't the best, but to add an additional dollar was totally worth it. Our server was over the top friendly. My coworkers and I noticed she kept calling us little pet names like honey, sweetheart, and deary. She was so nice, I didn't event care. Found out she used to be at the Pancake Place for 18 years. That totally showed. The only downside is, I think the space is too big. I see cars parked around the building all the time, but inside it looks empty. We stopped in for a nice breakfast this morning around 9:00, it was not real busy but good cause we have a rambunctious 5 year old so for us that was great!! We had a great breakfast! Our server was wonderful she was prompt and very friendly! That a plus in my book!! Also the food was tasty too! Hubby had corned beef skillet and my little guy had the strawberry crepes!! Yumm!! We stopped here on a Friday morning for some breakfast. They were quick to seat us, and quick to bring us drinks - very friendly. I ordered the veggie skillet, and my husband ordered the mushroom, spinach, cheese omelette - both with the mini cakes as sides. First off, the mini cakes (essentially pancakes) were AWESOME! I would go back just for those. They bring out a plate of butter and syrup. Super delicious. Secondly, we had mixed reviews on our actual meals. I really enjoyed my skillet. It had lots of flavor, and good amount of food overall. The over easy eggs were done just right. My husband thought his omelette was ok. I tried it and thought it was a bit dry, but still pretty good. I think he enjoyed eating some of the skillet instead. Friendly service and great food. Plenty of seating throughout the restaurant, which in our case worked out well because we didn't really want to be seated next to the family with small kids. Plenty of options on the menu for a Midwestern café. I had a meat lovers skillet which was excellent, however my wife didn't care much for her shrimp salad (only reason I took a star off). My food came in a huge portion with fresh and tasty ingredients, and hers consisted on ice berg lettuce and some shrimp placed on top. But hey, it's not really a salad place. What I was most impressed with, and hear me out, was their toast. Most restaurants give thin pitiful pieces of toast, but not here. I got nice thick and perfectly buttered toast. I think we would have been better off going to the fast food restaurant next door in the gas station. Small wait of 15 minutes but it is Memorial Day. The breakfast menu has a good variety. My son had the country fried steak breakfast which also included eggs, hash browns, and pancakes for $9.99.
