I am posting this for a neighbor. I have never liked the place and this pretty much is the nail in the coffin. Wednesday night of this week friends went to the Luna Maya restaurant. One of the ladies, in a wheel chair, had two large margaritas spilled all over her! The staff did nothing, in the way of compensation, as a way to address the situation. I called there to speak to the manager and was treated rudely and hung up on. I was being a gentleman and simply wished to talk to him/her. I asked the named of the manager and was refused an answer. They would not pick up my subsequent phone calls. I was trying to get maybe a gift certificate for my friend to compensate her for her sticky drink soaked clothing and her embarrassment. Prior to this incident, some time ago, I was served a sheet metal screw inside my rice and beens. The manager looked at it shrugged and walked away. Last but not least another friend watched a large mouse cavort through the restaurant. I felt obliged to share this recent and those past experiences with Soleil. If Luna Maya showed an ounce of empathy or a modicum of professionalism I would not have been motivated to post this to you all. read more

The dip was fantastic! We dropped in before an event and enjoyed the atmosphere. The entertainment was excellent .

We tried this for the first time after hearing lots of good things about it. Unfortunately it wasn't great. I had the fajita bowl and it was really small with very little meat. There was a lack of flavor and definitely not something I would want to have again. It was actually one of the pricier items so I expected more. The tacos and margaritas were good but not enough for a return trip. Our waiter was attentive and friendly even though he was really busy. The hostess not so much. This has become a very average restaurant. Nothing here stands out except Friday night karaoke, which can be fun to watch. The food is usually decent but there is not one thing that makes me think "can't wait to have that again". The margaritas deserve 1-star, maybe 2. Received a plate with about 3 whole grilled onions and 8 shrimp which was called fajitas. The manager credited $2.00 off this $17 meal. Guacamole missing from a meal. Another in our party received their meal 10 minutes after everyone else. The drink orders were also not right. read more

This is our go to spot for Mexican food. Many of the same staff for years now. I like that. It's clean, has no weird smell, tables are not sticky. I like the salsa, it's mild but very flavorful. The queso with chorizo in it is a must-have. The menu has all the basics and combos and food comes out fairly quick. They have a French fry nacho chorizo cheese appetizer that kills. I have had many items and liked them all. The chili Colorado is good. Go. Eat. Enjoy. Many bueno's one this one. read more

I had a uber eats oder for 1 cheese dip and two things of chips. I get my order and the cheese dip was clumpy and had a nasty consistency. I called to ask them about it and they had me on hold for 10 minutes. And I tried calling back. No answer. Very disappointed. read more

Food is above average. I had a combo plate and my wife had steak and shrimp on rice. My dish was a little heavy on the red sauce, but tasty. My wife's steak was tender. Our server was polite and the food came out quickly. The dining room was clean. Only slight negative was the aroma initially walking in.. smelled like cleaning fluid or similar. Maybe they just had mopped, but that smell wasn't appealing. Must have gotten used to it through the meal cause it wasn't as noticeable. If we're in the area it's worth stopping again. read more

I guess in life some things are too good to be true!!! I used to come here for lunch at least 2-3 times a month when I lived in canton. All I would get were the lunch steak fajitas. They were amazing every time. I recently moved to cartersville and I haven't made it back for a couple of months but I was off work today so I decided to drive the 40 minutes to canton just to come for my fajitas!!! So excited to walk in, sit down, and grab the menu to order my lunch and........ like a fart in the wind my lunch fajitas were gone!!!! They had a new menu with less lunch options and no lunch fajitas! WTF!! Bad decision guys and I promise you I will never be back again. What a joke! read more

Food is 3+ however poor poor service at bar. Not just once but last 3 visits. Manager just stands in corner blissful as to what's going on.

Pretty great food, I ordered shrimp tacos. Ended up giving my leftovers to a homeless boy, who devoured them too. Also got rice & beans. Could have used more mango pico de gallo but it was still delicious. Downside: Waitress was a bit absentminded, but she also wasn't Latina. Not sure if that makes a difference, but usually staff is very aware and attentive to detail otherwise. Thank you read more

We ordered a delivery. We ordered three dishes, got three bags of chips and two small containers of salsa and one had spilled all over the other containers, so three bags of chips to one of salsa. The rice was bland, the meats salty and the chimichanga is two thirds peppers and onions. Not super impressed. But the salsa and guacamole were good. That's about it. We love this "neighborhood Mexican restaurant." I call it that, because it's right around our neighborhood. They are very friendly, and it is very cute, nice and clean, with ample space. Their food is very good quality and they haven't disappointed us, and we have never left hungry. Their portions are very generous. My favorite is the Tia Rosa Chicken. It is truly amazing and tasty and perfect every time. Their margaritas are worth the money as well, as they are not "watered down," and have plenty of tequila in them. Nothing to write home about. It's not bad, but not great. I ordered takeout and live just around the corner. They said 15 Min, I got it right at 15 min mark, got it home (literally 2 min later) and had to reheat it as it was already cold and all of the cheese had hardened. One of the best friendly neighborhood Mexican restaurants. Staff is very friendly. Food is very constant, every time my family and I go there we order basically the same things and it has never disappointed. I would have to say just a so-so Mexican restaurant. On the plus side the chips and salsa are there the minute you sit down and on Tuesday night they have an excellent fajita special and $1.99 margarita special, but if you want a frozen margarita you had better come early as their outdated machine seems to only make about 15-20. We get a good laugh whenever we are told it is broken, but when the order is changed to water they don't seem concerned about the lost revenue. The regulars know this is a forgone conclusion and have even joked about pitching in to help buy a new machine. read more
