I tried the new la Sandy drink and it was delicious. Always a great meal and experience. Love the apps. This time we had a chili rellano with cheese sauce. So yummy. The new cocktail La Sandy is so special. Not too sweet and so refreshing. Lots of mint with a fun watermelon ball The grilled burrito with steak, grilled onions and green sauce is so delicious. The steak is so tender. I frankly do not know how they get it so tender. To finish it off we had two shots. The La playa and this other beauty seen in the picture. Again, not too sweet. My friend and I drive an hour to get to this restaurant. I had seen a reel about how wonderful this place was. Well it was worth the drive and the 30 minute wait on a busy Saturday night. We sat down and I ordered a classic skinny margarita. It was not made with any mix, Chris our waiter told us. He said it was fresh lime juice, agave and tequila. Yum. We also went for the homemade guacamole made in front of us. Delicious. My vegetarian fajitas and my friend's steak fajitas were also excellent. Came here for dinner it was definitely full and outdoor patio was full everyone enjoying the weather. They have a rooftop area for adults but it was closed on a Wed night maybe for renovation or staffing? Idk. The decor was very nice place was clean lots of staff downstairs. We arrived at our table of 7 and got chips immediately. The salsa was delicious! The prices a bit high for Mexican but that's the economy I guess. I got the 3 shrimp tacos gringo style 16 plus 2 dollars for being gringo style and it came with a small portion of rice and beans. I enjoyed my meals $19 and change for that no drinks or extra appetizer. Everyone's meals at my table looked delicious it was many people's 3rd or 4th time. I would definitely come back to enjoy their roof top area. I do like that they say no children on the rooftop. My first attempt to dine here didn't go well. And will not play into this review. Let's just say a communication breakdown on both our parts. But this time all went very well. From the great vibe (lots of smiles and laughter from all the tables) tasty cocktails, unique menu and very good authentic cuisine. We always enjoy our food whether we dine in or order through a food delivery service. Our favorites would probably be the Alambres, La Pina, Fajitas, Steak Mexicano and the Carne Asada. The margaritas are great especially the jalapeño cucumber! The staff is so sweet and helpful and our experience couldn't be better. Bathrooms are always clean which is a huge plus as well. We had planned to see this place after watching Instagram reel. They are known for their spectacular mountain view however due to the rainy weather we missed seeing that view. We got there really early and were seated right away with no prior reservations. The servers were alert at all times, making sure to take it orders in time, making food and dessert recommendations, refilling water mugs, clearing our tables all with a smile. Just impressed with the service and live music. Food was delicious and dessert was mouth watering. Overall a really nice place to dine and enjoy the view.
