The office has wonderful technology that detects cavities you cannot see on standard X-Rays, and she took the time to show me. The technology in this office is what I looked for and what I needed. It's modern but cozy. Gone is the Easy Bake Oven and replaced by cutting edge technology, like 3D scanners and a snow machine which will whiten your teeth brighter than a polar bear in a blizzard. Dr. Massol's office is anchored by Rosa Barbie, a wunderkind whose multifaceted talent assists Dentist Barbie and keeps the office running like clockwork.  As a testament to Dr. Massol's miraculous skills, just days ago, my friend had an unfortunate fall and shattered several teeth. It was awful, requiring a trip to the emergency room, stitches, CT scans, and X-rays. Less than 48 hours after the accident, my friend's teeth looked better than Ryan Gosling's on a Hollywood red carpet. The transformation was shocking. One thing's for sure, if the King had used Dr. Massol instead of all the King's horses and all the King's Kens, Humpty Dumpty would be put back together again. Such is the power of Barbie. She originally started in a very small office and has worked her way up - check out her current office. It's new and improved. She is a wonderfully skilled dentist that is gentle and caring. She takes the money that she gets and she puts it back into her business. She has up-to-date-devices and is constantly going for further training and certification at NYU. Mel, her receptionist is also awesome! They will work with your insurance and help you figure things out. Mel is also a wonderful addition to my visit - always cheerful and chipper like Tiangco. I am very picky about choosing the people I go to for help - and she really is the best in her field. I wish she would open a city office instead! I recommend all my friends to her, despite where they live. She is just that great. I even have people from Jersey travel to Queens to see her. Great dentistry can be hard to find ... luckily there is Dr. Tiangco.

When I finally found Dr. Dumanian, after one visit I knew I would be returning. She was not the first dentist to tell me I was grinding my teeth at night, but the first dentist who actually told me I needed a night guard. Because of her advice she literally saved my teeth! I have been lucky enough to not have many dental issues besides the grinding, but some people I have recommended to her have not been that lucky. A family member of mine saw doctor Dumanian for the first time after seeing a terrible dentist for decades, and she had to fix almost every single tooth in his mouth. He is now towards the end of his dental journey and could not be happier. She fixed what needed to be fixed, recommended him to some excellent specialists, and did some cosmetic work as well. He has perfect teeth now. In his words, she is a "perfectionist," which is exactly what you want in a dentist. The hygienist is also incredible. I personally never liked cleanings before she started cleaning my teeth because I'm used to pain, but she numbs you perfectly (no needles--don't worry just a gel) before she gets your mouth 100% clean. She also has an incredibly kind and gentle bedside manner, which is great for everyone but especially those people who tend to get nervous at the dentist. I always feel at ease in that office. Dr. Dumanian and her staff are the most brilliant, professional and kind people I have ever had the honor of letting care for my mouth. The second time I went, I didn't even get nervous in the chair. She and her assistant are very calming and reassuring. I'm just sorry I didn't go to her earlier. And the office is lovely, very homey, so that reduces stress right from when you walk in.
