I just wanted to leave a brief review for Dat and team at DC Connections. I had a tricky job involving a TV mount and cables being run through the wall that they executed flawlessly. Dat was a very good listener when I was describing what needed to be done. The bid was complete and comprehensive, and was finished on-budget. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up everything after themselves when they were finished. Finally, they did a great job keeping masks on and distancing while they worked. Dat spent a couple of hours at my house scoping automation of garage doors, music, entry doors, lighting, etc. he then went on vacation for 10 days and it took a few more to get the bid. The bid was for $22,000 and it was 5 pages of technical jargon. Within a couple hours of getting the bud I replied and asked for time to review the bid. No contact or communication for 3 week. I texted and asked again for help deciphering the bid. He said he had to talk today or he was on vacation for 2 more weeks. I will be passing on his services. He isn't able to succinctly provide a bid, follow up on questions or respond in a reasonable time frame. Dat is the owner. Very poor business acumen. I would NOT recommend working with DC Connections. Waste of a lot of precious time. read more

Keep scrolling. Don't waste your time and money. Worst service. If you happen to need coordination among a variety of components audio, video, and computer, DC-Connections may be able to provide an initial set up at a pretty hefty price, but after that good luck. The company left a mess of wires and work arounds, and a cheat sheets so we were able to play components. Unfortunately, one of our components failed to produce audio and although we did not touch a thing, the company refused to come back unless we agreed to pay them $175 to reconnect the component they set up. Our challenge is deciphering cable connections (ironically this is probably what DC really means) for its customers.... read more

We have been meaning to write this review for months, but it's been a wild few months. Anyway - Dat and his assistant mounted our two TVs and connected all of our cable and stereo equipment for us. They were so helpful, professional, efficient, and very clean and safe in their COVID precautions. I know our job wasn't that complex, but I would hire Dat to do anything related to connecting us with electronic, sound, cable, and ethernet wiring. I just can't say enough about Dat. read more

Dat did a fantastic job wiring my home up for ethernet. He was very helpful during initial estimate, providing me with his concerns and options, and being very considerate on costs. During install, he was punctual, kept things tidy, and had the house wired in less than half a day. I was also pleased that he took care to wear a mask throughout the visit while my wife and I are worried about the ongoing virus. I recently purchased a "Mantel Mount" TV mount off Amazon and found DC Connections as an installer on Mantel Mount's website. Dat was quick to respond via email and was able to gather all the information needed for my install and provide an estimate. When he arrived at my home, he went over the install process thoroughly and what to expect. Unfortunately I have some outlets and wall plates in the way of the "perfect" mounting position, but Dat did a great job of keeping me informed before proceeding and letting me know my options. This is the third time I have had Dat install TV's in my home. He was the first person I called after searching Angie's' List when we moved here in 2010. I don't believe that a more competent and careful individual could be found. He is very timely, industrious and careful in his workmanship. The installation was interrupted because the merchant sent the incorrect TV. Because of the delay in obtaining the correct TV, he offered to come early on a Sunday morning to complete the installation.
