Came here to try the tamales because I was having a craving and didn't want normal grocery ones that are usually dry and often bland. So, I went on TikTok and saw that this place would a good place to try and so glad we tried it! When we arrived, the entrance was tiny and the space was tiny with limited space. But, the bread racks were full and fresh. We ordered the following: Chicken tamale: 9/10 delicious and arguably the best tasting one. Cheese with jalapeño: 8.5/10 good and wish it had more chile Pork: 7/10 needed more salt in our opinion. However, did have a good amount of meat. Also, needed a little more sauce. The boys ordered picked out some pan Dulce and enjoyed them as well. We will definitely be back for a tamale craving. read more

We stopped by this place on the way home from a friend's house. Oh my god ! This place has the most delicious pan and Champurrado! 1000/10 recommend. The lady checking us out was very very sweet, and she was helpful. I love the layout and you can smell the bread as you walk in! read more

I was out looking for tamales and stumbled across this place. The tamales are huge. The masa is most and flavorful. The meat was tender and seasoned well. I got a dozen chicken and pork. My only complaint is that the pork pieces in the tamales were too big, I just used a knife and sectioned them and that solved that issue. It will definitely be on my top 10 list of tamale spots!!! read more

Little hole in the wall place in the ghetto part of San Bernardino, but so worth it! The pastries/Mexican Bread/Pan Dulce is so good. The baked goods are always fresh and tasty. Bought some three types of their tamales (Cheese/Jalapeno, Chicken, and Pork). The tamales were so moist and flavorful. I definitely recommend this place. Customer service was very welcoming and friendly. The place is super clean and well organized, and they have so many sweet bread options--everything looks delicious. But what really won me over were the TAMALES. Truly 10/10! They were so tasty, full of flavor, with the perfect balance between the meat and the masa. Best tamal in the IE thus far! Stuffed with jalapeño and cheese. Everything is authentic and the people are amazing. Pan dulce is my wife and daughter's favorite. When I say run if this is your first time I mean run straight to the shop. Grab a tray and some tongs and please get one of everything! I went there for the first time a week ago and took 2 huge boxes of everything to my mom's hospital for the nurses everything was gone with in 30 mins. They have so many amazing treats, filled treats, doughnuts, elephant ears, tamales thres Leche cake which by far is my favorite. I have not tries the tamales but those are next. It was so good I went again tonight. Do yourself a favor and go and see what this place is all about. Prices are amazing too. The next best thing to homemade, well actually they are homemade by hand and they have perfected the craft. The Masa has great texture and flavor and the Meat it plentiful and super tasty. Pork, Chicken and Cheese are my go to's. The service is always friendly and the store itself has old charm bottom line is Lupe's is LEGIT. Go Early cause they can get really busy. read more

Delicious tamales!!!! Both the green and red are hands down probably some of the best tamales I've ever had. Service was great... I went two days before Christmas and they got me in and out with in 5 minutes even with a growing line. I was there at 630am. Next up is to try their pan dulce.. they had a whole wall filled with it. I went on a hunt for bolillos one day and found this gem. They have a great selection of pan dulce, their bolillos stay soft for days, dip them in their tasty champurrado for breakfast. Their cheese and jalapeño bolillos run out quick so you have to come early if you're trying to grab one while they're nice and warm. The tamales have the perfection masa to fillings ratio. Generous. The service is quick and the ladies are friendly. They also have their own parking lot so you don't have to worry about parking on the busy Route 66. Touch to pay friendly. read more

I usually DONT eat or really like chicken tamales because they usually are dry and taste a little funny (I grabbed one thinking it was cheese). These are moist and flavorful! Saw the Yelp reviews so I had to try it. I consider myself a Pan Dulce connoisseur so I have it a go. First and foremost they had an excellent selection of all the usual suspect Pan Dulce. They had it behind cases and also out in center racks straight from the oven. Being the Son of a Baker, my Dad taught me the difference between fresh baked and yesterday's leftovers.These were 100% oven fresh! As I went up to pay the cashier was really sweet. I also noticed the big pots steaming fresh tamales. I didn't get any but they smelled and looked amazing!!!! This Panaderia is what you'd expect from a really good Panaderia. No frills just excellent Pan, Tamales, oh and Champurado, cafe, etc. okay so the Pan Dulce was BOMB!!!! The elotes and cuernos were fresh, soft and melted in your mouth. 10/10/25 - check your receipts! This morning the cashier charged $2500.00 to our debit card for tamales and bread that was only $8.97. Cashier tried to say the machine wasn't working properly and couldn't give receipt. We ended up getting a receipt of the voided transaction.
