Very cute store, great selections, there's definitely something for everyone. If you need a gift for someone or yourself, this is the place for you. I picked a wrapped gift and wanted to know how the contents smelled, and the salesperson was very helpful. As soon as I got on line to get a giftcard for Christmas, the lights went out for about 10-15 seconds. All computers went down. Power came back on and computers rebooted back on. Nobody knew what was going on. As I'm waiting on line, myself and a coworker saw a MOUSE on the floor. I was stunned and so was she. She tried to keep her cool but I was low key freaking out. They will approach you gently so you may understand the awesomeness of this place because on my own I was overwhelmed and lost. It is expensive but the products are special and unique. This store is what dreams are made of! Everything smells and looks so nice. Everything was well stocked and the store was very colorful. There were bubble bars along the front window, hair masks, sprays, really colorful regular soap bars, shampoo bars, body gel bars, bath bombs, holidays package sets. So many choices and so many scents! I was looking for some bath bombs for Christmas gifts and some shampoo bars for myself. The girl working the floor recommended a few products and then came back over to check up on me. She definitely knew her stuff. I was looking for a shampoo bar or oily-hair types and she told me to look for lavender and rose shampoos since those balance the scalp out more. You can also purchase a little shampoo bar tin for ~$3.95. The cashier stepped aside for a while, but once he came back he apologized. Definitely very satisfied with my experience and purchases. I love coming to LUSH. It always smells so good, and I have a difficult time leaving the store because I touch everything...ha ha ha!! The one in jersey is a bit smaller, but they carry a bunch of different things. The one shop in Roosevelt Field has many wash basins and stations to allow for more free roam. Lush products are environmentally friendly and are entirely handmade. They offer body lotions, soap bars, gels, and cosmetics. They encourage their customers to try every item they sell, and I take advantage of this opportunity because there are so many textured and gooey products for every part of your body. Some of my favorites and current day items are- For the hair- seanik and honey i washed my hair shampoo bars. Since they are round, I get the square tin for easier access in and out of the container. Big shampoo with sea salt, this stuff makes your hair smell good and feel so clean. I alternate between the bars and shampoo. To control the frizz- I use the R&B pomade. My son actually has taken it and kept it in his room for his own personal use. Scent is quite unisex. Treatments-I use the hair doctor hot oil...and one application is enough for me and both of my daughters although staff has said we can refrigerate any remaining products. Body-cup o'coffee FACE and body scrub...does wonders but is a strong scent. Ocean salt and body marina are great too. I can go on and on and onnnnnn about LUSH, they even offer organic cloth wrapping for gifts. But if I MUST choose ONE thing...its' the BUFFY body bar soap-hands down. This is a scrubbing soap, and comes in two sizes. It does get a bit greasy but a little bit goes a long way. The scrubbing agents are ground rice, almonds and beans based in a rich creamy lather. A quick scrub gets my skin baby soft and smelling soooo clean. Visit LUSH and if you are on the fence about anything, these guys are quick to offer you samples to try at home making you regret not getting them when you were there. read more

I recently moved to Colorado and I could go to to the one in Boulder but when I come back I always have to visit this location. When you go make sure you ask for Penny, she is the definition of "customer service." She takes time to listen to your concerns and needs and is very knowledgeable on products. Before i say anymore.. can i just give a lil shoutout to the amazing staff.. my kind of people so friendly, bubbly and not in a overkill kind of way. Lush is so Amazing! When I first tried out lush was when I was in Houston Texas visiting my mom. And ever since then I have been a Lush fanatic! They have many amazing products! When you first walk into the store there is a fresh aroma and always a great staff member who is super friendly to greet you or ready to help you with anything! Lush is usually well known for there bath bombs and bath jellies, however they have many hidden gems! They love doing samples! Or have many testers to see and try on! Each time they make me fall in love with something new!! They have many assortment from make up, mints, hair products, bath bomb oils, facial mask and much more! I must say trying many fresh made products for a while now makes my skin feel super soft and keeps me moisturized. Staff is super friendly, and willing to help you with anything they can. I used to come here to get body washes, but I had an experience here that put me off a bit. I accidentally picked up a tester bottle of powder that was partially used. I brought it back to the store and they gave me a bit of a hassle because I didn't have my receipt. I get the policy, but for an $8 bottle of powder it seems a bit excessive for a multimillion $ company, especially when I'm asking for a simple exchange. It's a little insulting to imply that I would lie about picking up a tester when it clearly said it was a tester on the bottle and it had about a quarter of the product used. They then spend 10 minutes searching through their transactions at the register from months back to find the one transaction and proof of purchase. I get it if it were a small company, but this is a big company and I accidentally picked up a tester bottle that was clearly marked that way. For them to go to this level to prove my purchase is quite insulting, especially when it's kind of their fault as well for not checking the bottle before I bought it. Not impressed, Lush. read more

Although Lush is a tad pricey the ingredients​ they use are worth the price. Lush is vegan/vegetarian-friendly​ so no animal by-products​ are made into the shower gels or bath bombs​. I'm so glad they opened up a branch on Long Island. This store is really big compared to the ones I've seen in the city, which is why it gets a higher rating from me. WOW, had an awful experience here due to an extremely rude employee. She of course didn't have a name tag on. I did get her employee id number though #2014842 after REQUESTING an itemized reciept for my purchase. I thought name tags and reciepts for things you buy are the norm? I go into Lush locations all over NYC and Long Island. This is the first Lush I had ever gone in to. I liked this location because it is inside of the mall and the employees are helpful but aren't down your neck if you tell them you don't need them and you are "just browsing". They sometimes are out of stock for seasonal or limited items but that isn't the locations fault. Lush is great but a lot of the products are a bit over-priced so I tend to shop Lush maybe once every six months or so. read more
