I absolutely love the products at Lush, everything is high quality and smells delicious. Generally speaking, their products sell themselves. Snow Fairy is my favorite and smells so decadent and yummy. The staff at this location also does a really great job of being helpful without being intrusive. They are helpful and answer my questions and I never feel pressured to buy anything. They also give me samples and suggestions, which I love. Even when the store is crowded, the interactions still feel genuine. They also have a good supply of stock, which I appreciate. read more

I really do love the Lush bath bombs and facial masks! I was so disappointed when my husband and I stopped in on Friday around 5pm. Two ladies who were working at the time were in such a deep conversation they could have cared less about us. They did not acknowledge us when we walked in. They did not ask us if we needed help. I had to ask them for help and when I did they looked at me like I was crazy for interrupting their conversation. I bought two bath bombs and as we checked out, their conversation continued like we didn't even exist. This will be the last time I spend my money at this location. Learn customer service! I went into Lush after my best friend told me that she had found Christmas gifts at a good price point there, and Liv was quick to ask if I needed help. I told her that I liked the Christmas gift sets my friend had purchased, and that I was buying for my brother's girlfriend. She asked quick and easy question, (shower or bath, price point, ect.) and when asked what scents she liked, I had only a vague idea, and said something like, clean, not floral. Liv was up to the challenge and picked a box in my price point, brought me to the products to smell, and it was a winner in one try. I was in the store for about 10 minutes- not stressed or overwhelmed at all. it was quick, easy, and painless, and if recommend for anyone looking for a nice gift for the harder to buy people in our lives. read more

I love coming here! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! I never go in and leave without a purchase! I love that is animal and cruelty free. They provide a lot of natural products. I have psoriasis so I have a lot of options when I enter. My favorite moisturizer is dream cream which works amazing for the psoriasis on my palm. read more

For starters, this place is dangerously close to Sephora and The Body Shop. It's easy to go into all three of these places and break the bank. I love Lush. I love the quality of the products (vegan, all natural, ethical ingredients, no animal testing). Everything I've tried is amazing. I'm almost mad at my friend for buying me a bath bomb because now I'm hooked. The workers in the store knew me by name at one point. They are all very personable and helpful. If you describe your needs they can guide you. I wanted a gentle shampoo for my natural Afro hair that's color treated and I told them I normally use super gentle co-washes (I'm pretty particular when it comes to hair care) and they gave me the exact product--Blousey (a banana based shampoo for fragile hair)! I can't wait to use it tomorrow. The products can be on the expensive side. I once spent the same amount of money here as I did for one week of groceries at WFM. Come in with a game plan and stick to it because everything is tempting an you'll wanna buy it. Lush is also a great place to get a gift for a loved one. Looooove this store!!! The products are top quality and are 100% vegetarian and cruelty free. They are handmade and fresh, all natural. I am obsessed. I always leave with more than I intended to buy, similar to my experience when I go to Target! They have a plethora of options including bath bombs, bath bars, shower cream, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, after shave, lotion, lip scrubs, hair masks, etc. There is something for everyone here. Yeah. It's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Top quality products. The smothering employees are a bit of a turn off though. It's enough to make people leave, if I'm being honest. I'm from Massachusetts but spend a good portion of my summers in Maine. Every time I walk in here, I always feel welcomed. The staff are very kind and not nearly as bubbly as the ones back home -- sometimes I feel like I can barely get a word in edgewise. Here, though, I've had genuine conversations with the employees and feel like I'm actually making connections. I have to be completely honest there. I love most of not all products from lush. The prices are a little steep especially for what the products ingredients are, but to me it's worth the price to purchase unpackaged products, which is why I chose to purchase from lush in the first place. That being said- I absolutely cannot stand walking into that store. I understand the employee are told to do this- and from what I hear from former lush employees this is strictly enforced- for them to literally be up your rear the entire time you are in the store. A simple greeting and "if you have any question please let me know"- will do just fine. I do not like to be pestered while I am shopping, and I enjoy going into stores and looking at products and reading labels and making a choice from there. They make it pretty impossible to do so and to make your own decision. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I have a strong feeling it is not. When you have been going the store for quite some it gets old very fast. I understand putting on the show they do for new customers- but maybe asking if this is there first time into lush or not and if not- please back off. With all due respect to the employees there, no shade at them. But to the company- please stop making your employees SO involved with every single visit of mine into the store. If you think this is a good technique you are wrong. Also it's not just one employee on you, if one gets the hint that you are all set, 30 seconds later another employee is trying to rub something on your hand. I don't know how else to get my point across. It's also a little frustrating being a skincare professional Bc I don't need the run around on the skin care products and false claims. This all being said, I will now be ordering my lush products on line, Bc if I honestly walk into that store and get bombarded one more time, I will snap. It's pretty disappointing that I have to order online when my major drive to get lush products is to purchase zero waste, So I'm going to look for other options in the area and go from there. read more

A great product practically sells itself- which Lush certainly is! I am giving this place 5 stars because of the service, as well. Went 2 weeks before Christmas to find special moisturizer. The "lushie", Spencer, was awesome. Homeboy hooked me up with some samples and found me a smaller size moisturizer in a gift pack (with another goodie) rather than having me spend $30 trying a moisturizer that may or may not work for me. Good lookin out! I am thrilled with my samples and will certainly be back after Christmas to make some serious investments. This particular sales associate made me feel as though I was shopping with a friend and answered all my questions about the products. This was my first time experiencing Lush and it certainly lives up to the hype! read more

I love how this store smells, at the end of a bad work day for me there is nothing better for me than going in standing and just smelling. I know its not for everyone but I can't get enough of it. The staff there are always nice and friendly, and very willing to share with you what their favorite products are. The cherry on the cake for me here is that after a super horrible day at my own work they took the time to how me relaxing products and amazing smells and gave me a free product to try at home. Went with my girlfriend today. First of all I couldn't wait to leave because the smell of the store was giving me a headache. While we were there we were minding our own business looking at the gift packages. All of the sudden we were hounded by a particular male associate who barraged us with questions and would not leave us alone. He left then came back only to annoy us to no end. 99% of shoppers that go into stores want to shop in peace and not be bothered numerous times. If shoppers have a question they will ask! I went across the mall and bought a Mother's Day gift from The Body Shop. It was cheaper and no headache was involved. Won't be going back to that store. read more

They need to learn to take hints when a customer says they are "just looking" to leave them alone. I always feel surrounded by sales associates and if you pick something up to look at it they hound you and grab your hand to test out products on you. It's overwhelming. If I need help I'll ask. They always have so many people working in such a small store, so one associate will ask if you need help then 2 mins later another one and so on. It's not a relaxed atmosphere at all. They are worse than car salesmen on a Saturday morning! read more

I have severe social anxiety and Dani, Spencer, and Meghan (I hope I spelled that correctly!) were super accomdating, knowledgeable about the products and made the environment feel very warm and inviting! I love this store! It is awesome to know that you are shopping in a place that is environmentally friendly and does not test on animals. Also I have to disagree with the review below...part of what is great about this store is the smell (why go into a shop like this unless you know there will be lots of fragrances!) Also I find that they have extremely helpful staff who are always wonderful in showing you new products or helping to explain a product's purpose.
