As a busy mom of two toddlers that also works FULLLLL time in corporate America I do not get many opportunities to indulge in self care. Getting a mani/pedi is a TREAT! I love the ambiance of this place, it's clean and modern. I enjoy the open concept layout. The nail color selection is wonderful. I have had good experiences here with Gloria, Darren, Minh, Cindy, and Toby and a few others but I can't recall the names. The prices are on the high side ($45 for a color powder fill and $48 for lowest tier basic pedicure with gel) I make it a point to also tip each tech $15-20 for each service - depends on if it's a new set or upgraded pedi, etc. I'd say 70% of my visits have been good, 10% great, 10% just ok, and 10% AWFUL! I will not be going back to this salon anymore. Here is why: I went in for a fill and gel pedi. Fill looks good but THE WORST pedi I asked for callus remover which is supposed to be included in the pedi I chose and she said I didn't need it- but my feet are still rough they were barely scrubbed. I asked the tech several times to please use acetone with a brush to get the gel off my cuticles before curing it. The gel does not match the nails- LIKE AT ALL. The shape- wayyyy too short and crooked. It was SO bad, the gel thickness, jagged cuticles left, cuticles painted. It was so frustrating because I respectfully and tactfully explained that I was not happy and explained why... The tech kept insisting that they look great. The GASLIGHTING was unreal, even the gal next to me was like OH MY GOSH! Zero acknowledgment whatsoever. Another employee (while I was paying) told me I can come back to get them fixed- but I don't have time!!! My time is already so stretched so if I am spending $70 on a pedi I really don't feel like it's too much to ask to have it done correctly the first time. ALSO- it was so awkward that the tech went up to half of the other techs and was clearly talking about me because they were staring directly at me, I could not understand what was being said. Even if I could bring myself to go back I would never feel comfortable doing so! It's so disrespectful to speak another language in front of people- especially customers. I am bilingual and make it a point to not do this to people. Either way- I think the pics speak for themselves. I didn't know it was possible to leave the salon looking worse! read more

I've never had a pedicure as horrible as this one! The tech barely scrubbed my feet to remove the dead skin. He ran the scrubber across my heels twice and he was done! I asked do you not see and feel the dry skin still there? He asked do you want to do it again! what, of course o do! Then he paints my nails and tells he will be back to apply the clear coat! If you are extremely picky about your nails, like me, do not go here. I got a full set of acrylic nails. They do not do a quality job of doing your nails. My edges are not straight, there are dents in the nails, there are tiny holes in every nail, he missed some spots AND steps(he didn't even cut the nail into a coffin shape, you are supposed to do that and not file it for a cleaner finish), it's not nicely shaped like a coffin and not neat, my thumbs are not even the same length(one is longer than the other),it does not look like a smooth finish. I was not happy with my nails. The nails don't even look like sisters they look like cousins. read more

She is one of the few techs I can just show a picture and she'll replicate it. She even picks all the colors for me and I love that I don't have to pick or guess which one is closest match myself. Same owner as Ivy Nail Bar off Sandy Plains so I thought I'd try them out because they are closer to me. But not nearly as good. Gel polish started chipping a couple days later and continued to chip until completely coming off about 2 weeks later (Ivy Bar lasts 4+ weeks, until nails grow out and never chips...every time. They are amazing!). The nail tech also punctured my skin and made it sore/ infected later. And the UV nail dryers would literally BURN my fingers and I'd have to pull my hands out so it would reset! Time to get new ones!! Techs were nice though, that's why I didn't give 1 star. Won't go back, I'll keep driving a little further to go to Ivy Nail bar! read more

So I came here with my friends to get my nails done & we originally set in our pedicure chairs with our feet exposed and no water for about 20 minutes before someone came to service us. A lady came to do my feet while another lady was REFUSING to service my friend for being a stud. She was shaking her head "No" and telling her boss she refused to touch her. (Similar to how yts treated blks during segregation.) She then greeted her by misgendering her. & I corrected her 3 times in that same moment telling her she's a girl. (THEY SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH PERFECTLY BTW) So besides them being homophobic towards my friend and talking about her, in her face in fluent English..... my nail tech wasn't much better either. She took a phone call from her husband in the middle of doing my full set and he basically told her to come home. She told me "I gotta go or my husband will divorce me." Started packing her supplies, and was ready to stop and head out and switch artists. They switched artists, I knew that there was going to be a problem the moment he started painting my nails, I did not like it and wanted him to stop! I showed the lady the mess he did and she ended up erasing it and taking back over. On top of that she charged me $150 for some medium length French tips. And my other friend was only charged $70 for stilettos. Overall the experience was horrible. 0 stars. Will not recommend. read more

After a bad experience at another nail salon I needed a new place to go to. This is right down the street from KSU which made it a convenient drive. Right when I entered I was immediately asked what I needed and was sent straight to the polish section. I was getting SNS removal and getting a whole new set on. I want to say that the nail tech that was helping me was named Kenny, at least that's what the receipt said. Not much of a talker, but I didn't mind. I let him know that the salon that I was at previously was really bad, so he made an extra effort for my nails. I can say that I am extremely pleased with how they came out. I came to get my nails removed, and she sits down and starts ripping off my nails with an plastic nail tip and a nail trimmer. Extremely painful when I asked for something less painful, she responds with attitude. Leaves me sitting there to gossip with her co-workers. She ignores me till I speak up. When she comes over after an hour she starts drilling my nails. A process that could have took 15-20 took an hour. My nails are ruined. My money is wasted (still paid). I've been a consistent customer and was very displeased with my last services. I get the same services every visit when I come every two weeks, a spa pedicure and a fill-in with gel. My pedicure was rushed and not thorough as usual and the technician stopped my pedicure to service another customer. Another tech came and put on my nail polish on my toes but never came back to apply a top coat. I came in the morning so it was not busy. My fill was done aggressively and it came out lumpy with bubbles and an uneven surface. I also have a sore bruise on one of my fingers from the tools being used too close to my nail edge. I was also quoted a higher price than I usually pay, but did not want to complain about it since it will be my last time visiting this salon. I am highly disappointed. read more

I have tried this nail place for three or four pedicures. First, please note they do not use separate packages of nail tools for each customer. Rather files have been used many times before. If the metal cuticle cutters and cleaners are sterilized between customers it is not apparent. Most places have separate packaging that is newly opened for each customer. Not to my liking. the deluxe pedicure had no extra callus removing treatment and was hardly better than entry level. No metal scrapper used on heal calluses and not on entire foot, just three or four spots. the polish application was a C. small gaps between sides and top of toes. Nails were cut shorter and filed. Some were uneven and not straight across. There are better shops in Kennesaw. I'm taking these folks off my list... read more
