Hired Ronen and his team to extend driveway and install artificial grass. The team was always on time and professional. Unfortunately communication with Ronen and service was not. At the end refused to respond and complete the job of sealing the driveway. I now have a driveway with contrasting colors and need to find someone to complete the project with sealer. My house was built in 1927 and I moved in in 1995. Over the 25+ years that I've lived there my driveway has undergone a lot of wear and tear. So I thought It was finally time to do something about it. I had received an estimate from a construction person I knew, but decided to get a second estimate. I found LUSH REMODELING in a local free magazine catering to remodeling and home improvement. That same day I called the number and as it happened, RONEN the general manager was in the area and was over within a half hour to give me an estimate. He turned out to be a very friendly committed and likable individual. He gave me a quote that was substantially less than the previous quote, and I agreed to do the job with his company. His crew started on a Tuesday and was done by late Thursday. By Saturday I was parking on my nice brand new driveway. (See the before and after pictures below). I can't say enough good things about the quality of the workmanship and his crew. They were polite, diligent, hard working and they left my premises in such pristine condition you wouldn't even know there was a major construction project there. We interviewed multiple contractors, read so many reviews, and are so glad we had the fortune to work with Eli, Ronen and the Lush Remodeling team! This was our first major renovation project, so I'll break down this review by stages: Proposal: Eli and Ronen came by when the lockdown was just beginning. Even at that time, they were proactive about explaining how their teams would wear masks and clean after each day's work. They noted places where our house should be brought up to code, too. Initially, we only planned to update the existing space as it was set up to be more modern (new countertop, floors). When we signed the contract a few weeks later, we decided to ask them for ideas on how we could maximize the space but also aim for a more open feel. They had such a GREAT vision for our space to transform this mid-century galley kitchen into the 21st century. Project execution: Demo was fast and the team did a nice job each day to make the space still livable for us. Eli took us shopping for the wood, countertops and tiles, and his advice was always spot-on. The delays we had in the project were mostly related to shipping delays for the window, our appliances, etc, which couldn't be helped, especially given the COVID uncertainty. Next time, we might try to order all those things in advance and hold off demo until they arrive. Either way, the Lush team was always responsive to our questions and notified us about issues that arose along with the potential solutions. We never felt like they were nickel and diming us, and their quotes were fair and thorough. Overall: We honestly LOVE our new kitchen, fireplace and ended up expanding the project to update the flooring throughout our home as well. We have already asked the team to help us with a master suite remodel and would absolutely refer them to our family and friends. Ronen is the most honest contractor I have ever met. I was looking for bids on how to fix some damage to our new concrete driveway (caused by a truck that scraped off some of the surface with his truck) and other contractors were telling me I had to remove the section between the control joints, which was thousands - $4000 and up. Ronen is the only one honest enough to point out that the damage could be hidden and never noticed instead of going through the expense of tearing it out. And he told me exactly how we could do it ourselves. WOW. Who does this these days? I have found this company to be extremely unprofessional. I contacted the owner of this company, Ronen, and asked if they can update the landscaping for our front and back yards. I informed him that we had renders and overhead plans generated by a landscape designer and that we were ready to start the implementation phase. He stated that he could do this for us and said he would call me to coordinate a visit to our home to discuss the project in more detail. I emailed him the renders and documents pertaining to the project. I never heard from him and so the following day I called him to see what the plan was. From the beginning he seemed somewhat flaky and unorganized. He said that he would come over to our house on Saturday at 12pm. My wife and I were waiting for him at 12pm Saturday and no one showed up. I finally called him at 12:41pm to see what was going on. He said that he thought it was supposed to be 2pm and I reminded him that he and I had confirmed a time of 12pm. He didn't even bother to apologize. At this point I told him that I did not find him to be very professional and that I would work with someone else. He didn't even seem to care as I hung up the phone. I felt it was important to share this with fellow yelpers. I will make sure to post similar feedback on other websites as well. I would not recommend anyone do business with this guy.
