Food is very good! Only criticism is the Pansit Palabok It NEEDS a lot more sauce. They only put enough to color the noodles, but not enough to add flavor. I plan on using a package of Mama Sita Palabok Mix to add more sauce to the noodles OR I have to ask the people at Luton Bahay to add more sauce!!

This was my first time trying this place and definitely not my last time. I ordered the breakfast with longanisa sausage and lechon. Food was amazing! So fresh, good flavor, good portion and plenty of food where I got to eat again later! Customer service was pleasant - I was greeted once I walked in and was offered recommendations. 10/10 recommend!

This was a great find (by my husband who doesn't really look for Filipino food). He had combo plate with fried chicken and chicken teriyaki and garlic rice. He is a fried chicken snob but he really liked it and he liked the teriyaki chicken. It was a bummer because he chose this place for the chicken skewers but they didn't have any. Next time. I had the Tocilog (tocino with egg) with steamed rice. The flavor was right on and I'm so happy each meal came with two eggs. I do like my tocino a tiny bit more browned but it was super good. For dessert he had halo halo. He really liked that their ice was more finer than normal. I had something many Filipino restaurants don't carry and I've missed. Mais con Yelo (hielo)! My ice wasn't as fine but it's okay. It took me back to my childhood. I loved it. The place has three four seater tables, it was tight but they also have a couple of tables outside. We will definitely return when we are in the area again. Oh and they had Choco Nut so I bought one.

We ordered multiple party trays for the first time and this place did not disappoint! We ordered Pork sisig, Beefsteak, Chopsuey, Menudo and Turon. Everything tasted good! Highly recommend it!

I finally found a spot that similar to FIL AM in Daly City. Definitely felt like a taste of home when I entered. My daughter loved the Palabok (she's picky too!) and I came in craving turon which was also a hit for us. I loved the menu and the silogs on the wall-- nice touch. Ordered sisig silog and it was the perfect amount of pork enhanced with all kinds of flavors. Haven't had any of those things since I moved here and I'm grateful to have had it here. I loved the lady working, she was very sweet and kind-- eager to clean the table we were at since they do let you dine inside. Overall-- it's a little too far from me but I'd honestly bring my mom here for a good ol Lutong Bahay.

Great local Filipino restaurant more for order to go spot. You can eat there about 8 seats inside and two tables outside seating. Mostly recommend to do a phone order since food is cooked fresh it takes a long time to wait for your food only good thing you know it's fresh and downside is wait time. Other than that service was great very friendly. Ordered the bansilog which is marinated milk fish loved it but wish they didn't batter it with flour I like mine fried without it vinegar flavor is amazing if you like Bangus. Spamsilog comes with rice and due to the shortage of eggs only comes with one egg tomato and cucumber. Bbq chicken comes with sauce which I prefer mine marinated without bbq sauce. Not sure how it tasted ordered for someone but they enjoyed it. Loved the lechon kawali ala carte since it's fried pork belly ask for vinegar to dip so crunchy and delicious ! Would recommend the Shanghai lumpia's looked good need to try it !!

I wanted to grab some lunch near by my work one day and my coworker told me about this place and their amazing pancit. She gave me a sample of her food one day, but then I decided to get some with another friend. I ordered the pancit and they make it for you fresh. It was delicious, the noodles were so flavorful. They give you the right amount of veggies and meat so the meal was greatly balanced. My friend ordered the longsilog and she only had great things to say. They told us ahead of time that it would take a few minutes to cook because they wanted everything fresh. Definitely worth the wait and they were very friendly about everything. The inside of the restaurant is small but they had a few outdoor seatings! Would definitely come here again for more lunch during my work week.

This Filipino eatery is located in an older part of the neighborhood. It was a very hot day, temps exceeding 100F. Their AC wasn't working. It was excessively warm indoors. The seating is very limited. Inside seating consists of 2 tables with bench seating, and one table with two chairs. The place is very small. It's mainly a order to go cafe. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are moderate compared to other similar Filipino family eateries. We originally wanted halo halo, but they were sold out early due to the hot weather. So we ordered Canton pancit, tosino, Lechon kawali for dinner, and a refreshing sweet corn with rice drink (Mais con yelo). Canton pancit - 5/5 Canton pancit is made with the thicker noodles, not the thin noodles. The Canton pancit was prepared and tasted exactly like how my MIL made it. Not too peppery and with the right balance of veggies. It was down right comforting, and delicious. Pork Tosino - 5/5 Again, very tasty, delicious, and reminded me of my MIL's pork tosino. The sauce adhered to the pork, and went well with rice. An excellent selection. Lechon Kawalai - 5/5 Excellently prepared. Very crispy, and the Lechon melts in your mouth. A definitely order again menu item. Mais con yelo (Sweet Corn with rice Drink) - 5/5 Very refreshing with just with right amount of condensed milk, rice, and crushed ice. Overall, our first time was very satisfying. I hope they can fix the AC since there will be more very hot days to come this summer. We'll definitely revisit and update this review. If you're thinking about getting Filipino food, give Lutong Buhay a try.

First time here, and the food was great! Service fast, plus the staff was friendly. Place is pretty small but the outdoor area compensates- This place can be great for pick up or for dinning in if you have have a small group 2-3 max.

I've been coming here for the past two years now. I'm not sure when exactly the new owners took over. But I've notice the place it's a lot brighter, roomier and the food is served in bigger proportions. The bungsilog was really good, nice and crispy milf fish! Definitely coming back.

I finally found a spot in Pittsburgh for Filipino food. The service is amazing and fast. It's not a dine in restaurant it's very small but they do offer outdoor dining that i recommend if you're looking to dine in. I am now a regular for the garlic fried rice with over easy egg.

    Lechon Kawali Silog

Pleasant people..... Great customer service. Food is delicious and freshly cooked. Not too greasy and a lot of varieties. Clean bathroom, small indoor and outdoor dine in. Mostly pick up or to go order. Highly recommended and fully satisfied customer. Wish they would have one near Sacramento.

Longsilog, scrambled egg and garlic rice.

Overall, the place felt very clean, tidy, and well organized. The service was also great and staff were friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a plus. Now, let's get to the food review. Original Sisig Kapampangan: Absolutely delicious. It was served on a hot plate and had a savory, creamy flavor (possibly from the mayonnaise) while still tasting a bit tangy once you squeezed lemon over it. I'd definitely order this again. Beef Brisket Kare Kare: I honestly thought I didn't like kare kare until I tried their version. The peanut sauce was rich and savory without tasting like peanut butter in a jar like Skippy. The beef was tender, and I also loved the assortment of vegetables included in the dish. What really took it to another level, though, was the bagoong sauce (on the side), which paired so well with this dish. This dish was absolutely yummy. Sizzling Beef Brisket Ala Pobre: We were really excited to try this because we'd heard great things about it, but unfortunately, it didn't really deliver. The flavor was pretty bland, and even though it was topped with fried garlic, it was still missing a strong garlic flavor. The beef itself was tender, which was probably the only good thing about the dish, but aside from that, the sauce and overall flavor were just underwhelming. Garlic Rice: This came in a pretty generous portion enough for three. I could definitely taste the garlic, but I think it could've used a little more. Still, it was good overall.
