Great location in the Norterra Shopping Center! AC inside, video games, food concessions and lots of things to climb on! I would highly recommend getting there the second they open so your kid can get the place to themselves for 20-30 mins before everyone else arrives. I went on a Saturday and it got busy quick and it made it a little crowded for my daughter. They had one area that is primarily for toddlers and the other section is more for older kids. But the big slide is in the big kid area and I went on it with my daughter- the big slide is the most fun of all the play areas! I felt like it was a little small and lacking some play areas, but overall it did the job of making my daughter tired :) we were there for about 2+ hours and she was done. Snacks were a little expensive and entry was about $24 I believe. So you definitely want to get your moneys worth. I think you can buy memberships as well if desired. We will be back, but I would say this is fine occasionally only. read more

I took my toddlers here on a rainy afternoon so they could tire themselves out. Prices were reasonable compared to some other establishments especially if you buy a monthly membership, it does truly pay for itself. But I truly don't know how you'd be able to bring the kids back multiple times in a month. It's so overly stimulating. TVs everywhere, loud music, bright colors, spinning things. It was a lot for my toddlers but maybe better suited for older kids. I will say everything seemed clean. The toddler side was fine but really not too much for my kids to do after they climbed up a structure and rode a slide into a ball pit 20 times. We stayed for just about an hour before they had enough. The older kid side looked more entertaining. They had a nice set up for birthdays so that could be an easy option for parents. All in all I'm sure it's fine for kids older than 6? But way too much for toddlers and honestly for me too! I think we will stick to a traditional trampoline play area or something a little more low key like giggles. read more

Buying special socks was a bit of a turn off as grandparents who may not return again but totally understandable, like other kid play establishments. . We had grandkids play and we played a few ourselves before having pizza and Mac and cheese and spending our tickets for some prizes. As my kids' fall break was coming to an end, I was in search of just anything affordable and fun for my kids to do before going back to school. I stumbled upon Luv 2 Play and was impressed with the many positive reviews. Hannah C.'s review from 10/2/22 is spot on and I want to thank her for leaving that excellent entry. This location is within The Shops at Norterra next door to Sephora. I found that using the parking lot in front of Panera Bread was the best as it is large and easy to navigate instead of trying to find a primo spot in front of the stores. The walk from Panera Bread to Luv 2 Play only took a minute. Once we entered, it was so bright and clean. Checking in and filling out the waivers on the computers was easy peasy. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and diligent in keeping the space and arcade games clean. I really appreciate how they leave a sign on each table to let you know that it's been cleaned and ready for use. Cleanliness is so important for places like these and they've earned my respect forever for their level of commitment to it. What caught my eye about this place is their cafe. Some play places either don't serve any food or just junk snacks. Not here! There is a nice variety of decent food to feed the whole family or you can leave to visit a restaurant nearby and come back same day as long as the wristbands are not removed. If I had to critique something, it would be that grip socks are required to be worn. If you do not already have your own, you will have to purchase them at the counter for $3.50 each. Thankfully, it was reasonably priced and yours to keep. If you are going to be a repeat visitor, this will be extremely useful to have. My kids had a great time and asked if we can come back soon. We came today this morning with our two sons. 2 year old and 7 month old. I was expecting it to be like Gymboree, but this place is WAY better. Blows Gymboree out of the water. We are making this place our new official play place and will sign up for a membership. Our 2 year old LOVED it so much and there's even an area for babies to hang out and try out their new skills. Or work on new ones :) We can't wait to go back! Place is awesome and super clean. Our boys were exhausted from the fun! Edit: just wanted to add, people giving it bad reviews for the dumbest things. I wish they would train all staff so there's continuity with the customer service. When the owner is there they are all on their best behavior. They're all pretty nice for the most part but today I got the bad apple. Rude, short, and general lack of general happiness? I don't get it. If you don't like people or customer service or kids for that matter then don't be in the service industry. After addressing a safety concern I was quickly made aware the Tupperware bin was there to block the slides while they cleaned the balls in the middle of the day with tons of toddlers trying to play? I was told that my kid was the only one trying to move the container..? Really? Yeah they're babies and toddlers. Lol. Why not just say this is how we were told to clean the balls and that's our protocol to put a bin in front of the slide to block the babies and toddlers from going down? As opposed to being really unprofessional and and shaming my 2 year old. Lol. Same one that told me the food area didn't open for another 20 min and the coffee maker was broken anyway. Front desk gal was very sweet and accommodating sad to say I can't say the same for the other gal. Still haven't seen anyone but the front desk gal crack a smile. Aren't we at a fun happy kids place? Lol. I agree that the slides look super dusty and gross from the top. Under the games and other areas just in general needs to be cleaned. You don't have to look to hard for dirt and grime. Overall we love coming here especially when the owner is working. Sometimes you can just tell when someone likes their job and puts forth the extra effort. The owner should train everyone to do things the way she does them. The last thing I would say if that coffee and adult beverages are something that should always be served at kids places. I specifically didn't buy coffee so I could buy some here this morning when we got here. We would honestly come more in the evenings for kids dinner and play if they served some sort of lite beer, wine, something. I like it. It's new and in a location where there are no other playgrounds for several miles... so now we have an indoor playground option in the north Phoenix/deer valley area. Burnt, not even drinkable. This is a nice 4 star joint, but I knocked a star because of that coffee. If parents are going to hang out here and we can't bring our own coffee... well. Yikes. My only complaint is that the staff doesn't monitor the older kids in the toddler area unless you ask them to please remove the older kids (this should also fall back on the older kids parents). Our family loves this place so so much! This has been our go to spot to take our Son for a day of fun, for a few years now. We even had our Son's last Birthday party there and the owner did us a HUGE favor. I'll get to that in a minute. A few of the reasons why you should come to Luv 2 Play instead of any other of the play places are the following: - The Price. You can't beat them. They charge you per kid but do not charges the adults. That is unheard of. You do have to purchase socks once. You can also purchase different memberships where they can come how ever much you want a month, discounts on goods, and $5 to bring a friend. - Great food and snacks. They have tons of food options. From Pizza they cook in house to apple sauce. You can even get yourself an Iced Skinny Latte for $3.59! - They do not stop cleaning. Seriously. You will see them cleaning that place from top to bottom all day long. Nothing is sticky, stinky, or has a film on it. They keep this place sparkling. Impressive for a place filled with little kids everyday. -The staff is so super nice. Always smiling and so helpful. They have even given my son a few toys he did not have enough tickets for just to be kind. -They also have lots of fun kid friendly arcade games where they can win tickets and with those tickets they can pick different prizes. - Lastly the Owner. I can not say enough, how thankful I am for her. I made a huge mistake for my Son's 4th birthday. I had made the reservations for my son's birthday party at the Metro Location. And I did not realize that until I showed up to the Norterra Location ready to check in on the day of my son's Birthday Party. The owner heard what happened, heard my guests where on their way and she went to WORK! She said each location has their own owners. She called the Metro owner, got her to return our money, she then threw together an awesome party room for us and MADE IT HAPPEN! I can't thank her enough for all she did for us that day. One of the better playplaces I've been to in the valley (& I've been to a TON!) Don't be deceived by the seemingly small storefront. The inside is HUGE! They have a nice little storage area in the front for your shoes & bags. Multiple computers available for fast waiver completion. And, there were always at least 2 people working the front which made checking in efficient (and easy access to assistance if you need it, instead of having to chase someone down). The play areas are divided in half by tables & chairs. One side is a toddler area for 4 years old & younger. It was the largest toddler area we've ever seen with some extra fun things like a giant floor piano & spinning seats (think mini teacups like at Disneyland, except they're padded & soft). On the other side is the ginormous climbing area for older kiddos. It literally goes to the ceiling & seems almost endless! Tons of fun to be had for hours! Now, let's talk about two things that are usually lacking at other playplaces: 1) the games - often a few are broken or missing pieces...not here! Every single game was working perfectly! This was really quite shocking and made me feel like they take pride in their facility! 2) the food - most places have a small snack bar or a cafeteria type menu that feels & tastes cheap. Here they had a lot of options including a decent coffee menu & it all felt more put together. Obviously, it still wasn't restaurant level, but it was better than any other food we've had at any other playplace. All this to say, it just felt a little higher-end & we can't wait to go back! read more

This place is sooo clean compared to other luv2plays we've been to and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I have to give the staff major credit for handling uncomfortable situations the way they do! There was a mom that was.. going a little overboard. I think she was on something because she was making things up and being quite aggressive over 2 & 3 year olds playing and her delusional idea of what constitutes playing. The staff immediately started trying to clean places in separate areas that were already quite clean, but you could tell they were trying to stay close incase she got out of hand. I appreciate them so much because she harassed us simply for eating.. sorry but kinda need food in ya to chase an extremely happy and excited child around for hours. Great place to take rowdy kids! The playground is huge and there's plenty of places to sit and watch the kiddos play. My only complaints are that the playground has exits at the front and back, so if you're sitting in the front, your kid can go out the back and head to the lobby/restaurant area without you noticing. However the play area is big enough for adults to go in with their kids if you want to keep a close eye on them. Second "complaint" is that the slide is pretty intense! I watched pretty much every child AND full grown adults wipe out or get hurt coming down the giant slide. read more

I got my first update from Val throuhgout the week making sure my pizzas and drinks were up to date - she wasnt even my host that day and she still let me know who was my host Emily was our party host she was very attentive and so so nice- she made this mamas day so much easier! I've been there twice , I liked it cause I wanted to have some place to take my little princess since weather is getting too hot I like the baby / toddlers area that's where we play most . I think the place gets dirty and someone should vacuum or something so there is not crumbs or dirt all over the place also there should be some kind of " enforcement " with keeping older kids on the toddler area , parents go to this places and forget about their kids ‍. read more

Fabulous place! We went here during the day with my two kiddos. I have been to a lot of different indoor play places, but this one has to be my favorite. The employees are really nice, very attentive. The place is very clean, I constantly saw someone wiping down tables, the playground everything. Nice areas to sit and be able able to watch your kids. I took my 14 month old for the first time this weekend. We will definitely be coming back to this place! It's clean and felt safe. The staff is very attentive unlike some of these play places.
