I'll start by saying front desk was nice. Pedi was ok, besides getting pricked with the cuticle clippers. Nothing really special about this place besides the fact that it looks straight out of an ikea magazine. Nail tech was complaining because I have a thicker gel that requires a little bit more filing than the cnd stuff they use. She just wanted to leave me soaking for an hour I asked the front desk if she could ask the tech to try filling a little more to speed up the process(I don't have 3 hours to just sit there) and I could hear her yelling and complaining in the staff room. Saying "that's not gel bla bla" just because it was a brand she was unfamiliar with. First of all I was literally the only person in the salon so it's not like she was SO busy she couldn't even try. After hearing that I offered to leave and they still charged me $10 when my nails were half soaked off and she barely even put any effort and just complained. This type of bad attitude is extremely unflattering. She could have handled it in a more pleasant way or tried to find a solution instead displaying such unprofessional poor behavior. Charging full price for an unfinished job is outrageous. Definitely will not be returning or recommending. read more

They're so NICE! Place is clean, relaxing, they brought me a pillow to recline on and a blanket. Lots of vinyl lux colors. Always have availability AND they're open on Mondays which Gilbert/Nailbar aren't so that always fills in the gap. I was very excited to visit the "Luv nail shop". I have to admit I was late for 15min since it's started raining and we stuck in a traffic. I called to let them know and mentioned upon arriving that I would like to get gel removal( not purchased In-House + French manicure) and was happy to pay extra for that. The lady at the desk said, sure you can pick your color. I ended up picking peach color since thought it is going to be French manicure. However the manicure technician who barely spoke English and wasn't even trying to deliver the proper service said " I don't have time for your French manicure". I understand there is a next customer but why don't you say it in the beginning- this is not the way you treat your customers. My day was ruined because I was in the mood for French manicure and I was confirmed for that by the front desk lady. The entire atmosphere seemed very unfriendly. I also want to mention- my manicure started bubbling very bad after I got home. I regret I left $20 tips for absolutely nothing! Poor service.... read more

This is the best nail salon in Miami. With such class and good energy. The moment I walked in a very nice woman got up to greet me and was so welcoming. Offered me a beverage and brought my purse over to my seat so I could look at colors comfortably. The woman who did my nails pays attention to details and really takes her time. They have calming spa music here and use delicious smelling scrubs etc. It's nice to finally go to a nail shop that is like a spa. There isn't a bunch of people gossiping or eating in front of you. They do a great job at keeping this place a calming enjoyable atmosphere. They have a great selection of organic polishes and gels. They pay attention to what their clients like etc. I will for sure continue to come here and people need to spread the word on how amazing this new find is! I have really NEVER been to a nicer nail salon, (and I've been getting my nails done for 23yrs in many US cities). It's interior is pretty, peaceful and classy. The women who work there are first class, polite, and very diligent to detail and quality work. It's very clean and well kept. Claudia did my nails and she does her job with an attitude of an artist. I decided to follow my two girlfriends into a "girls afternoon of Mani/pedi" and try this new place, 10 mnts from home. The ambiance is beautiful, very Zen like....love their decor, and music, it felt very relaxing and Spa like. But here goes what I didn't like....first off, the host (very attentive and nice girl), talked sooooo low, I barely could hear her!! Apparently they want to create such a relaxing ambiance that their employees don't talk and when they do, it's almost whispering..,.my girlfriends and I where scared to talk!!! The owners where at the salon (my technician informed me who they were)....They were not friendly at all....constantly starring at us (specially if we talked), and at one point my phone went off and I got dirty looks!!! Yiakes!!! What was meant to be a relaxing experience, became a stressful one. Will I be back? I don't think so...I don't want to pay $50 for a Mani/Pedí, and not be able to talk, laugh and enjoy my time off with my friends....too bad, the place is very cute!! read more

For a manicure and pedicure combo I spent $55 which I think is an appropriate price for the level of service received. This shop also has free parking behind the building and easy access from 95. When I first entered Luv Nails, I was instantly relaxed. The decor and staff are very nice. The young lady at the front desk helped me choose a color and the woman who did my nails was kind and shaped my nails very nicely. Unfortunately, I had to give this salon one star because after just three days, the gel on one of my nails has peeled off. I have been careful to wear gloves while washing the dishes and not pick at my nails. After spending $44 ($35 for the nails plus a nice tip for the stylist) I was severely dismayed at this. I never treat myself to getting my nails done but seeing as I had an event this past weekend and another one this upcoming Saturday, I figured that gel nails were the way to go because they are supposed to last two weeks. I am very displeased with this turn of events as now I will have to spend more money to get my nails repaired for this weekend. Likely will not return which is unfortunate as the staff really were very sweet. read more

I moved to Miami recently and was dying to find a place to get a decent mani/pedi. I ran into Luv and I'm SO happy I did. The place was beautiful, clean and serene. I sat back with a blanket and took a nap while I got an awesome pedicure. My manicure was beautiful too! I got there around 5:40 and the ladies all stayed to help me even though they closed at 7 and I wasn't done until 7:30. They kept offering me water and tea and were so gracious until the end. I loved it! Plus all of their products are organic and it's been over a week but still no chips - the nail polish has lasted a while! I used to love this salon and I was not going to write a review but it has been a few things that are just unacceptable. When the owner was there the salon was impeccable, smelled great, attention to detail...you felt like u were in a special place. The owner gave birth (congratulations!) and since she is not there, the salon is like any other nail salon. Last time I went no one offered me the nice green tea that they have, not even water. The woman in charge of the desk was anywhere but there. Not present, not service oriented. It's a shame to see such a wonderful place just become common once the owner is gone. Too bad! read more

Shopping for a new nail option. I'm a weekly nail person so convenience, consistency, and perfection is important. I was looking for a great mid-level option, not factory-like or too pretentious and over priced. Checked out this spot on Yelp and saw mostly positive comments with some flaws, so I called. Spoke to Vanessa the owner, and made my appointment. I was pleasantly surprised. Great shop! Clean, well decorated, welcoming and warm! Vanessa is hands on and personally attending to all the customers. She has her own product line that I decided to grab a few items because they look and smell so special! As for the services, I had a mani/pedi with Kaireni and my nails were perfect. She is very detailed oriented and made sure everything was done perfectly. I couldn't be happier, and I'm looking forward to returning. I hoping for a frequent customer package where I can go more than weekly if needed. As a side note, they offer throws for comfort, and servehot tea and water. This place is everything. The customer service is also something I have never seen before in a nail shop. They make you feel right at home and treat you as though you have been friends forever.
