My family has been coming to this shop for years under the previous ownership. Between our family…read morealone, we've probably brought around 8 cars here for window tinting, and we've also referred friends and others because we always had great experiences here. Unfortunately, after our experience with the new management/ownership, we will not be coming back. My mom's rear window tint was about 4 years old and had started becoming blurry/worn, so my dad brought her car back to have it replaced. Since the original tint was done under the previous ownership, we didn't come in expecting them to honor the old warranty. We paid for the old tint to be removed and for a brand-new tint installation on the rear window. The very next day, my dad noticed one or two small bubbles from what appeared to be dust trapped underneath the new tint. He went back and asked if they could redo the rear window since the work had literally just been done the day before. The owner/manager refused to redo it. My dad then asked if they could at least try to squeegee the bubbles out, and he wouldn't do that either. Instead, his solution was to remove the tint completely, refund my dad, and tell him he could take his business elsewhere. My dad did not want to go through the hassle of having the tint removed again and then having to find another shop to redo it, so he even asked if they could at least offer a small discount since they weren't willing to correct the work. That wasn't an option either. What's especially disappointing is that this shop has always been known for its lifetime warranty on tint, yet apparently a problem with a brand-new installation can't even be corrected the very next day. We weren't asking them to warranty the old 4-year-old tint from the previous ownership. We paid for new work, noticed an issue immediately, and simply expected the shop to stand behind the work they had just completed. Things happen and we understand that dust or an occasional bubble can happen during tint installation. The bigger problem was how the situation was handled. Rather than trying to make the work right, the response to a longtime customer bringing up a legitimate concern was essentially to refund us and tell us to take our business somewhere else. It's sad because the previous ownership always provided great service, quality work, and stood behind what they did. That's why our family continued coming back with car after car and recommended this place to other people for years. Unfortunately, the service and quality are not what they used to be. We'll be taking the owner's advice and bringing our cars elsewhere from now on, and we will no longer be recommending this shop to friends or family.

Yesterday, while driving on the freeway, a vehicle in front of me ran over a piece of tire debris that flew back and hit my bumper. Unfortunately, right after the camera installation, my car started making a noise it had never made before, coming from the same area where the installation took place. Alonzo believes it may be the brake booster. I can't say for sure the installation caused it, but the timing is concerning. I want to believe that if something was accidentally disturbed during the installation, it was simply an accident. Nick was an excellent salesperson; he's an old-school guy with a deep history and knowledge of audio, and he helped me get off the fence with the different brands and boxes I was researching. I was originally looking at some subs for under the seat, but ended up getting a Kicker sub with Nick's advice, since he said under-the-seat subs aren't that great and, for the same price, a boxed sub with an amp will sound better. The installation took about an hour and a half, and you can either wait in-store or at a few nearby plazas to eat and wait. The install itself was clean and professional. Overall, loving the bass. I might be back soon if I upgrade the stock speakers in my ride to improve mid- and high-frequency clarity. On another note, I didn't know they also do tinting. Nick offered a good deal, but it's too bad I just recently had my tint done elsewhere. If I had known, I would have saved some money on my tint by doing it at Audio Motorsports.
