‼WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS JOKE OF A STORE‼ We came here to get a couch,a table,and some bar stools, at first the owner jody (a man) was very kind and super friendly laughing/making jokes being SUPER helpful! We asked about financing and he kept saying it's just like a loan but you have to pay it before 3 months to keep the same price or you'll her charged a lot more. I kept asking is it a loan or is it a credit card what is it? He couldn't give me a straight answer but of course my boyfriend decided to follow through and jody insisted on filling out the application for him...later we found out it's a rent to own program where you pay X amount if you pay before 3 months or they charge you triple after that! He said our total would be $800 then it magically said $860 (approximately I don't feel like going through receipts again) so I called him and asked why it went up $60 from the RECEIPT he gave us? He said oh it's just taxes not my problem...WHAT? Why would you give someone an inaccurate receipt? Makes no sense! So here comes delivery...we PAID for delivery it's not a favor so he should follow through on his word! I changed the delivery date to a week earlier and he said yes no problem, so here comes day of delivery and suddenly he can't guarantee it'll be delivered that day? He can't give me an approximate time it'd be delivered so I call him and he answers the phone SUPER RUDELY it's like a whole different person...now that he got the sale he doesn't feel the need to be nice anymore! He pretty much yells at me and tries to make me feel like I'm in the wrong for HIS MISTAKE! To top it all off when I asked what time he says "Maybe today if not tomorrow I guess" I GUESS?! What the actual F...for a business owner he's very unprofessional acting like a teen who doesn't know what they're doing. Finally a day late they deliver our furniture and the SERVICE WE PAID FOR they can't follow through with! These skinny small guys show up and they can't get the couch up to our apartment on their own so my boyfriend has to help them now. Defeating the entire point of paying for the delivery to our apartment (mind you I said it's okay they don't need to assemble since we're on the 3rd floor) so they could've at least done their job alone. We've had our couches for about 3 weeks and the quality is honestly not good! The material is super weak and the cushions are all loose and looked like they've been used for a year already...Overall SUPER disappointing! I considered taking him to small claims court for the delivery fee and additional $60 that "was not his problem" but I honestly don't have time for all that so I figured I leave a review for anyone considering using this guy! Owner is extremely rude. He also lies about stock. Lies about when he will be there. He has fake hours online and outside his store and is never there on time. He will tell you to be there bright and early to pick something up and will not be there at the store, let alone even have the item. Refuses to admit he was wrong and will not deliver. 0 on customer service and 0 compensation. Business is run by a joke of an owner with no morals or standards. This place was fantastic and would highly recommend We (my wife and I) are going on a long trip across country and am taking our two greyhounds with us. Previously we had a couple of dog beds that we moved from the truck to the RV when travelling and wanted to get a custom size mattress instead to put in the back seat area for the pups. I went in and spoke with Jody about what I wanted - a custom size 30 X 60, 3 or 4 inch thick mattress. He said that would not be a problem and would be able to get that for me. The prices are affordable and the staff is very friendly I purchased 4 twin beds with frames for my kids in August 2019, they came and set up at my home, which is a plus. The reason for the deduction in stars is because the delivery was postponed several times due to a delayed shipment. Overall I would go through them again, but maybe find something that is in stock. read more

I went to the store and the clerk told me she had to call or text the owner for the cancellation and return of money. I walked in with a back problem and met Jody at the store and told him I needed a firm mattress and he immediately took me to the mattress I needed. It was the very first one I saw, tested it, bought it, and was delivered to my home within a couple of hours. Two days later I went back and he gave me a great deal on a dining room set. I really tried to support a small business but never again will I come to this furniture store. This place (Lux Furniture) sucks! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Service was extremely awful. The manager Jody is extremely disrespectful and a dishonest person. I bought a love seat and sofa and paid in full. Turns out when the delivery came, two love seats were brought to my house. The delivery driver stated that the sofa was out of stock. Jody never called to let me know. Jody took it upon himself to have the delivery driver deliver it without my consent. I had the delivery driver sign a statement that the transaction was not complete until the sofa arrived. When I would call Jody about the update for the sofa, he was very unprofessional and rude. I asked for a refund and he denied my refund. I kept in contact with him for over TWO months for any updates and stated the SOFA WAS ORDERED, but no update on estimated time arrival. Until just recently I asked to give me the difference in cost for the sofa and he agreed. I just wanted to put an end to the lies and deceptions. Went to Lux on Labor Day weekend. Was told if I paid cash- sofa sectional would be delivered and set up for free. Paid cash- the dirty - smelly - drivers delivered sectional- left it in plastic on my living room floor and headed for the door. I said "wait I was told you would set up". The driver says "no- receipt says drop off only". Then he says the "feet" to couch are easy to put on. I tip them both and also give water and soda. I unwrap all the plastic from sectional and start putting feet on ( need to screw on through wood) I can't get feet tight enough so I call Jody (owner) . He says I should have tipped drivers to get them to put feet on. I tell him I was told if I bought and paid cash delivery and set up would be free. He says "who told you that?" At this point I say "never mind I'll hire my handyman to do it- and that he just lost a customer and any further referrals". Do not shop here. They lie. read more

This place is as unorganized as it gets. Absolutely NO communication with customers as when product will arrive to be picked up. I've been waiting 4 weeks for a TV consul and side table. I finally went in to cancel my order and the owner made it seem like it was entirely my fault. I hope this place goes out of business real soon. read more

Ordered a bunk bed, plus 4 box springs. I was told delivery would be Sunday., No call or communication from them, I had to call them and they delivered Sunday night and was very rude and didn't want to take the box springs to the room they went into. Bunk beds was told Monday, it's now 3:12pm, I had to call them to ask and they said tomorrow. NO COMMUNICATION, do not buy from this place. Rude drivers! and No communication. read more

This is by far the WORST furniture company I've ever dealt with from the owner down to the employees. I walked in that store in February and purchased 4 twin size mattresses Spending $400. Came back a couple days later and ordered 2 mirrored night stands, 1 trundle bed with matching dresser and night stand, 2 twin size box springs and a queen size bed and box spring Totaling $2400. I told Shannon I was closing escrow in about a month and she said no problem let me know when ready for delivery. When I called back for delivery she kept Tsing me it was gonna come today for about 3 days. Drivers never came. Finally they came and turns out the twin bed being used foe the trundle was too big so the driver took it back. Shannon told me they had a memory foam mattress they would swap out And it would be in around 3 days. I waited 6 days before calling and asked if I could come pick it up and she insured I allow her driver driver it but it would come same day. I called her directly 3 times throughout the day and she kept saying he was coming. He never showed up. She texted me around 9 pm to tell me he would come first thing in the morning. Well of course that never happened. I called the store looking for her and they said she wasn't available like they say every time I call. I asked if someone could check on my order and I was placed on hold and the guy came back to the pho e and said he called her and she was going to personally deliver the mattress to my home tonight. NEVER HAPPENNED. I asked for the owner Jody and of course they said he was unavailable and they weren't sure when he'd be available. I just so happen to hve Jody's cell number which he gave me the first time when I bought the mattresses and I called him to no avail. I then sent him a long text and still no response. I paid them cash for everything otherwise I'd dispute it with my bank. I have no idea what to do at this point other than take them to small claims court because this is beyond ridiculous at this point.
