3 stars are good for the walk-in Gel Mani/Pedi. I had 2 employees servicing me. Regarding the Gel Mani, the drilling off of the majority of the Gel is not good for me. Especially when you feel your nail bed burning - that's exactly what happened with the employee doing my Pedi. There's not much soaking to relax or loosen up cuticles & such. It's hard for me to grasp when I'm asked about my preferences - file down or cut, what shape & when I give the answers, it's disregarded. I've learned in repeating myself or showing what I like & don't like...eventually, the end result is in my favor...operative word eventually. I did appreciate Amy who did my Mani for being attentive & placing my sneakers in a plastic bag when I was finished with my Pedi. $75 for both services which include the bottom tier Spa Pedi. I'm not in this area often, yet if I was & had a last-minute need, I'd return & request Amy. read more

I was running late for an appointment and too far away from my regular nail salon. The reviews was enough to walked into this place; first mistake. The greeting was ok, but the service was horrible. I asked for a correction with the brush strokes, "NO." I asked if she was going fix the bubbles, "NO." Are you going to extend the white across the nail,"NO". She filed the nail to meet the white. Some techs are definitely better than others but good news... the best ones have been there for about as long as I've been going and new folks that suck don't last long. My first and only time in was terrible. I was left sitting with my hands soaking in acetone for 45 minutes and had to remind the manager to remove my hands from soaking because it's very uncomfortable after long periods time. I was then sat with an older nail tech who was way too aggressive and heavy handed. She shaped my nails crooked and caught an attitude with me when I guided her on how to fix it. She rushed the job. I told her I already took care of my cuticles at home but she proceeded to jab at them and push them aggressively in after I told her it hurt. She made a few fingers bleed along the cuticle line and didn't finish off with any cuticle oil, there was nothing personable about the experience there wasn't anything that remotely reflected good service. Then the manager had the audacity to charge me $75 for the shoddy service stating just the new set was 65 and the rest was a service fee. SERVICE FEE FOR SHODDY SERVICE? Thats a first I've ever seen. I've never had such a poor experience at any salon. I will never recommend this place and would never go back read more

I came for a walk in pedicure and my nail tech constantly tried to upsell me (I wanted a regular pedicure but she tried to insist I needed gel, i needed designs on my toes - no thank you) and she used OLD NAIL TOOLS. Worst pedicure I've ever had! The polish was not cleaned off my skin, the nails weren't filed and were left jagged, the polish wasn't applied evenly and you can see through it in spots....just awful. I came home, removed their mess and polished them myself. I've been to this place many times but it has certainly gone down hill in the last year. read more

Please do not come here unless you want streaky nails. I came here a couple of times and loved Nina and I believe Mimi was the other girls name. However, the second to last time I was quoted a price and in the middle of the service the guy doing my nails dropped the powder and then when I was paying added $10 to my total and said it was because of the chrome. Didn't argue but decided I would just select another nail tech. The last time I went I was told by this unprofessional woman that the color I selected would be streaky and wouldn't look like the photo I showed her. She said "They photoshop the photo to make it look nice." Excuse me??? I'm not going to pay for streaky nails. They are professional nail techs. This is why we come to you so we don't have streaky nail polish! If I wanted streaky nail polish then I would do it at home myself. Last time the same woman did my nail design and it wasn't the best but I figured maybe she's new. No she just doesn't know how to paint nails. The tech I had, and I'm sorry I don't remember her name, she was wonderful. She knew exactly how to repair my nail, and the entire pedicure was incredible. My daughter and I have been going to this salon since they opened 11 years ago. Since the new owners took over the place has declined. In the past I have written many great reviews but after today I will NEVER return. My daughter's pedicure was a "champagne" which included all the stuff... after an hour, he still only had polished her nails. We needed to leave so told them to only charge her for the lowest pedicure. They bagan screaming at us and telling us that we have to pay $70. We told them that we were willing to pay the $55. I told them that we will not come back, again after 11 years, and she said "that's fine. It's your choice." I found them on Yelp and wanted to give them a try. I came in for a gel manicure and I was a walk in and was able to get help right away. There was no wait. I typically get a design with my gel manicure but just decided to do white nails and picked a glitter to do on two nails. I wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome. The nail tech buffed/filed on my skin, so afterwards, my fingers were so swollen and red after. I also thought they were a bit pricey. They charged me an additional $6 just to put some glitter on my nails. I don't mind paying extra for designs but just to put some glitter on there? The only positive was that I didn't have to make an appointment and they took me in right away when I came in, but I most likely won't be back. read more
